A Dutch apple pie. Not from scratch though. There was a frozen one in the freezer. It's still nice though.

I want to make muffins but the recipe calls for yogurt which i don't have....

Banquet frozen foods is making little fruit pies now, like their cheapy cheapy pot pies. I tried the peach one. It wasn't bad, but needed more fruit.

It's Bonfire Night.. there have been fireworks going off since it went dark. ^^

About the fireworks...

I haven't set any off or anything today. There didn't seem to be much going on.

I don't think it's fair though, you get Thanksgiving and we get Bonfire Night. Thanksgiving = food. Bonfire Night = loads of kids going to the hospital because they were careless. :lol:

I think it was the night someone crashed into the line outside a pub, but i could be off...

We have loads of hospital visits on the 4th of July and New Year's Eve due to fireworks. I remember this horrific story on the news a few weeks back about a young mother who got her hands on some professional display shells and literally blew herself up with her kids watching. Fireworks safety is important! And yet people let their kids run around with them like they're toys.

yeah its one of those holidays we have to make us feel better about bring smallpox over and those killing thousands and then forcing whoever was left on to reservations.
