Veila frowned and was about to reply in arguement when Ulric ran off after taunting Gabriel, which made her cringe. This won't end well... Gabriel only smiled in reply to this, immediately lauching himself from the ground after Ulric, his wings folding out as he soared up into the air, following Ulric at a pace any bird would be unable to match. Veila was behind him. Then next to him. The two would collide just before reaching the field, ending with Veila hitting the ground just behind Ulric with a light thud, and Gabriel landing about ten yards away with a much heavier thud. However, Gabriel was able to scramble up in a hurry whereas veila had a very hard time, and ended up using her sword as a support as she stood with a low hiss of pain. Gabriel smiled at the two, "Veila, you can't honestly be siding with this filth." Veila stared him down, her voice coming out with an angry tone, which was very unchararistic of her. "You'll be sorry you said that." Gabriel laughed once more, "And you'll join the fallen at the end of this, my dear." Gabriel twirled his sword in his hand, "With whom am I fighting?" He looked over Veila, who was having a hard time standing with her superior present, then at Ulric, whom he thought little to nothing of. "Let's see. The gifted angel who is having a hard time even standing when I am angry with her, or the little necromancer?"

Ulric frowned when he saw that veila came after but when he saw how badly veila was he got really worried. He walked over to her and he knew he had to protect her and protecting her ment he had to use his powers even though he didn't want to. "my fight, when I get out of hand stop me." he said as he got close to her. He had a look in his eyes, you could see he was ulric but in the back of his eyes you saw something menecing. He then turned to gabrial and growled, it was completely inhuman. "you got me." he said and then dug a hand into the ground and pulled out a bone like sword. "and just to say I have more power then you will believe." he said and even though he had only used his power a little dark power was already rolling off of him in waves and he started to act different. He started to grow a smile that would make the joker proud. "now get ready." he said and right when he said that the ulric veila knew was gone. He then charged gabrial and slaked his sword down and started to fight him. With eachstrike ulirc became the monster he never wanted to be. His powers continued to leak threw and the dead started to rise everywhere. He was truely a monster.

Veila stared at the scene before her in awe, unsure of what was hapenning was actually there or not. What was going on? The dead were rising, a darkness was present, and Veil suddenly felt very, very, cold and very, very, alone. Why? She closed her eyes, steadied ehr breathing, and did her best to relax her muscles. She became weak in Gabriel's presence, but it was completely involuntary. If I could just... relax... I could move again. When she opened her eyes again, her features twisted into that of fright. Ulric was truly a necromancer, a thing she had been taught, was a monster.

However, Gabriel-- Gabriel was simply shedding off light like you wouldn't believe. He could have been her own personal sun if he was within a better distance. That thought irked her. It was not Gabriel she should be rooting for, it was Ulric, he only friend, a very nice, polite guy whom she had promised herself she would protect. Ulric. Taking a deep breath, Veila gained the strength to stand, still leaning one hand upon the tree she had found Ulric in earlier. Gabriel met every attack of Ulric's with perfect precision, though he was a beautiful being, simply shedding a bright, warm presence, he was a true warrior. He was the perfect killing machine, having been trained over millenia to do this work, and nothing could stop him from slaughtering all those in his way. Except some restraints.

Veila placed her palms flat upon the ground, closed her eyes, and murmered a prayer. Light burst forth from the ground where Gabriel stood, streaks of light wrapping up around his body in vine-like forms. Veila did not watch, but she knew what she was doing... she had done the impossible-- restrained Gabriel, her superior. All that Ulric needed to do now was finish him.

Ulric was laughing threw the whole fight, it was the laugh of a mad man. He then continued to fight him and when he saw that gabrial was being restrained he smiled more, it was a messed up smile that surpassed jokers. "your goig down your going down, your will be in my relm." he said in a song like manor and advanced towards him. He dropped his bone sword and his hands seemed to grow sharper. Then with a quick thrust he had his hand in gabrial chest and his fingers wrapped around his heart, "see you in my domain." he then pulled out his heart and smiled as he watched the blood pour out of the heart and gabrial. He then started to laugh again and he looked at the heart and threw it to the ground. He then trampled it and looked towards the city before looking at veila. He was still his crazed self and he smiled her one of those joker smiles that went from ear to ear. "want to kill some more, it's fun." he said and already the zombies started to move
towards the city.

The scene made Veila want to vomit. Was this really the Ulric she had met earlier? Her friend? What happened to him? Veila stared up at him, almost frightful, half wanting to cry. "Ulric?" Something was obviously wrong with him. Veila still had her palms pressed to the earth, and, almost effortlessly, more beams of light in the same vine-like form burst forth from the ground and disabled the dead that had risen from the earth. As for Ulric, they only made an attempt to wrap around his legs and hold him there. They weer strong, firm, and had a hold that was greater than that of steel. Veila stood quickly, approaching Ulric quickly, worry clear. "Ulric? Ulric, this isn't you... Snap out of it!" She would approach him from behind, wrapping her arms around him in a hug, closing her eyes tightly as she hoped this would be enough to stop him.

Ulric laughed when he felt her tryin to restrain him. It was pointless to try, he was powerfully and nothing could stop him. Bu right as he was about to break lose he felt her arms around him and he stopped completely. His eyes started to clear and the real ulric started to take over. He just stood there and wondered what he dis this time but as he looked Dow. And saw his bloody hand he knew he had just killed. "v-veila w-what happened? " he asked softly but you could tell he was himself. But he was ashamed of himself. She had seen the monster he was, she pro ably would kill him or leave him. He was a safer to her and everyone else. Why did this have to happen to him. "I am so sorry.." he said softly for he knew he had done something wrong.

Veila stared at Ulric, shaking her head, for a moment in disbeleif before letting him go, slowly walking around to his front, and looking him over. Ulric was back. She grinned, taking him into another hug, this time a tighter one. "Thank God, you're alright." Then, smiling, she kissed his cheek and let him go. "You scared me for a moment there, but... but you did nothing wrong. Gabriel is gone. You're safe now." the, slipping a cloth from her blade's sheath, she handed it to him, "Here. Wipe off your hand." Her wings folded back, vanishing from sight as they pressed against her back, and her sword and its sheath would disappear as well after she produced the cloth for Ulric.

Ulric took the cloth and started to wipe his hand off but only looked down at the ground. "thanks." he said softly and his hatred towards himself grew a little. He had killed again but she said it was for the right reasons. But he had still let himself get out of hand, he was still a monster. He then looked at her a little worried, "I am sorry I scared you but I warned you. When my powers get out of control I am a monster. I am just glad your here to stop me before I did anything else stupid." he said and wished he hadn't killed anyone again.

Veila sighed a looked at Ulric again, not sure what to tell him. Killing was a natural practice for her, and for many others of different races, whether it be for self defense or for whatever other reason. Self defense was definitely the reason here. Veila frowned, thinking for a moment before grinning a little. "Hey. You wanna know a secret?" her voice was almost back to normal here, but it still had a serious tone. Leaning in to whisper into Ulrics ear, Veila admitted a fact that she wasn't proud of, "I'm way mroe of a monster than you are." It was simple enough to say, but it was true, in Veila's opinion. She was dead, though living, she had powers beyond those of mortals, though she was usnure of how they compared to Ulric's, and she had killed... oh, she had killed mayn, many creatures. The thought sickened her. Grabbing Ulric's hand again, she grinned, "But, hey-- let's go back. We've got our admission payed for, let's not waste it."

Ulric was surprised when he heard her and could just stare at her. He let her lead him back and then smirked, "then it looks like we are both in the same monster boat. Just at different ends." he said as he walked with her. Even if she had killed more or what ever they where stilll monsters in a way. He just couldn't control himself at all and it was a horrible horrible thing. When he saw that they where back he looked at her, "point out a ride that you would like to go on and I will lead you to it." he said as he smiled at her but the thought of what just happened stayed with him.

Veila would nod slowly at Ulric's words, but for some reason, she was sure that the subject couldn't simply be dropped. Perhaps she would have to try encouraing him again. Letting out a soft sigh, Veila again turned to face him, looking at hinm quietly for a moment before letting it slip, "You do know that you just saved me, right? I might... even be dead right now, or worse." She frowned a bit before looking back on over at the other rides in the amusement park, finally smiling as she quickly spotted something that look familiar, but she had only seen inn silly little cartoons. "What's that... starship thing?" Veila pointed on over at Starship 3000, an enclosed ride that spun those inside of it slowly, but fast enough to make gravity begin to dissipate inside.

When Ulric heard her he looked at her. "I just wanted to protect you since I felt like he might hurt you. I didn't want the one girl or person I care about get hurt." he said as he looked at her. It was a odd thing to realize that he had killed for a good reason and he smiled a little bit. "and dont think about what could of been. We are both safe for now and that is all that matters." he said as he looked at her. He then saw the space ship ride and smiled. "that one is a great ride." he said as he started to lead the way and hoped that she liked this ride.

Veila looked at Ulric for a moment or so longer before smiling once more, gently squeezing his hand a little. "Thank you." she said quietly, a serious tone in her voice for once. Then, her expression turning cheerful once more, she followed after Ulric giddily as he lead her towards the odd-looking ride she had pointed out. For now, she decided to forget about what happened, though she was sure that it may be hard for her to think about later. As they were escorted onto the ride, Veila looked around the small space, amazed, before taking her place, standing next along the slanted wall. She then frowned, unsure of what to do, but watched the others around her that were leaning against their boards before following suit. "Ulric...? What's going to happen?" Veila asked, turning her head to look at him.

Ulric lead her towards the ride and when he heard the thank you he said nothing. He just wanted to forget about what happened for a little while and enjoy the time he was having with her. Once they entered and they got ready for the ride he smiled at her, "the ride is going to spin us slowly so that gravaty doesn't effect us as it usually does." he said as he looked at her and then wondered if she would like it. She could already fly so why would she need to be on this ride? oh well it was a good ride and he liked this ride.

Veila's eyes widened in surprise at Ulric's words. "What?" she asked dumbfounded. Veila had never heard of such a ride, however, she supposed that other rides could also do so. Like the roller coaster, and carousels could to an extent. After a moment, she shook her head a little, then grinned and waited in anticipation for the ride to start. As it did slowly start spinning, Veila tried to relax, but after a few moments the board she was pressed against lifted upwards, and veila could definitely feel the weight of gravity now. Her eyes widened and she looked over at Ulric, unsure of what to do.

Ulric chuckled when he saw her face and nodded, "yes." he said as he looked at her and smiled once hte ride started. He liked the feeling of being plastered to the board and felt hte board go up. He then looked over at Veila, "you cant really move." he said and each time he tried to get up but couldn't.

Veila, curious, then tried exactly what Ulric had failed to do: move. Lifting her arm up slowly, she was able to get it outstretched for about a foot in front of her before the force of gravity finally forced it back to its position, now plastered against her side. Veila laughed at this, not used to this feeling of being heavier than she was. She was about to comment on it when she spotted the ride coordinator that had previously been standing in the middle now walking around on the slanted walls. She stared, wide-eyed at the man before noticing that others on the ride were also moving, though with great effort. Veila looked over at Ulric with a grin, "Guess it takes practice?"

[That's alright, I've done that too.]

Ulric smiled and nodded, "yes it does and a lot of determination." he said as he forced himself up and then to his feet. YOu could tell it took him alot of effort but once he was on his feet he seemed fine. He walked over to her and smiled, "if you put your mind to it and manage to get to your feet the rest is easy." he said as he smiled at her and wondered if a angel would be able to do this. "come on, it is alot of fun." he said as he waited to see if she could do it.

Veila watched Ulric stand up, smiling a bit towards him as she saw him get to his feet after some trying. As he walked over, Veila let out a small laugh, shaking her head a bit at him. "Like normal gravity ain't bad enough already..." Nevertheless, she bit her lip and tried to follow after Ulric's example. With some effort, she made it into a sitting position, then, very slowly, to her knees, before finally planting her feet firmly against the wall. She did it. Veila smiled cheerfully over at Ulric, feeling a little light headed from the pressure, but too caught up in the fact that she had succeeded to care.

Ulric chuckled when he heard her, she probably felt gravity when she flew. He couldnt' fly so this was the closes he coudl get to what she experianced. Yet when he saw her slowly getting to her feet he smiled, "great job, I knew you could do it." he said as he smiled at her and was slightly surprised. Most people coudlnt' do it on the first ride. But then again she was a angel and delt with gravity all the time so he shoudlnt' be to surprised. "so how are you likeing this ride?" he asked.

Veila smiled and nodded, slowly, still shaky on her knees. It was definitely weird to be standing like this. "Thanks." she smiled over at Ulric, "It's alright." she then replied simply. To be honest, she was now feeling te light headedness, not using to this kind of pressure. Luckily for her, there was an announcement on the ride that they were going to start slowing shortly. Veila carefully shifted back into her laying down position, now excited to see what was next again. "Sooo... What are we going to do next?"

Ulric smiled at her and nodded when she said that she was alright. He then layed b ack down and smiled as they started to slow down. "well we could head to any of the other rides you would like to or I could show you some other demons if you like." he said as he looked at her and soon the ride had calmed down and was over. The others started to get up and Ulric sat up and looked over at her, "in other words we can do what ever you want to do." he said as he got to his feet. He walked over to her and held out a hand to help her up.

[Oh my goodness, I'm watching Finding Nemo right now. XD]

Veila thought for a moment over their options before noticing Ulric's outstretched hand. Smiling, she took it, and got up off of the side of the wall she leant on. Again, she didn't let go of his hand for several moments after she could have, but she didn't see any harm in that. once they were off the ride, Veila looked over at Ulric and smiled. "If you don't mind, I'd like to try... meeting more demons again." Hopefully this time there won't be any hurry to shoo them away. Veila then remembered that Gabriel was... gone, so that wouldn't be a problem this time. She quickly brushed off that thought again, not wanting to keep thinking on it.

Ulric smiled when he heard her and nodded. "okay, that sounds like a plan to me." he said as he looked at her and then started to show her the way to where some other demons where. This time they didn't have to be as careful or have to leave in a hurry. No other angel was here and everything was going to be fine. He lead her to a diserted part of the Amusment park and smiled. "this is where a few others are." he said and then let out a high pitched whistle. After a few minutes little demons started to come out. They ran over to him and Veila, all happy to see the two.
