Oh no! That's so horrible. I can't even say anything about the teens because knowing me and my wander lust, I'd have probably felt the urge to explore the caves.

We could use a bit more rain here.

Yeah, local weather officials are saying we're likely headed for a bit of a drought here. The rains last weekend were welcome - especially the storm the stayed overnight. I LOVE going to sleep to the sound of hard rain.

Yes, rain outside is a welcome sound.

Where do you live, Connie?

Oh, my favorite rain are the sudden summer storms that happen when it's super hot outside and the sky looks relatively clear. Where the raindrops are huge and refreshing after you've been out in the hot sun all day. And they're all not so cold that you'll be upset you played in it, but not so warm as to defeat the purpose.

About an hour north of Philadelphia, PA. In Palmyra, NJ on the weekends. :P

Sinister, those are my favorite kinds of rainstorms too. I love warm rain, especially after living so long in a place where the rains are always cold.

That is quite far north of here, Connie!

Most rains here in Austin are warm rains.
But it does seem that we no longer get gentle soaking rains.
It always seems to be a severe thunderstorm.

It always feels so nice, even though afterwards you feel kinda filmy cuz of the rain water.

I hate those sneaky summer storms though that I'll think I'm walking into a happy, giant dropped, warm rain, and instead I'm hit with tiny bullet cold rain! D:

Sneak attack storms suck. I was trying to get together all of the stuff for a small pizza party my last full day at college, and I got out of my car at WalMart right when the deluge started. I was not only wearing a skirt, I didn't have an umbrella. The back of my skirt was soaked.

I was walking to class the day we had the tornado while I was in class. Had nowhere to go, and all of a sudden it started pouring and I could not hide away from the rain. I was soaked when I got to class.

I remember getting hit with a sudden rain attack while at an amusement park with my cousin and a friend from school. Unfortunately, as the rain wasn't predicted in the forecast, my cousin was wearing a white T-shirt and let's just say, she's not exactly tiny.

The boys around us were happy and my friend purposely waited a bit longer than normal before he relinquished his extra shirt to her. lol~

That is why I am glad I don't wear white shirts or anything white anymore.

It was raining last night. Kind of wish it had been raining a little longer so they moved Sexiest Man Wall into the cafeteria. Walls are themed parties they have on the weekends here. However, I do not party and wanted to sleep. The screaming of inebriated college girls was a bit much.

I avoid white shirts for the reason that I lived for a long time in a place where it rains a lot, and as a not that tiny woman myself, I would want transparent t-shirts.

However, there was the one time that I still think about with a laugh. I ran from one end of my small college campus to the other during a rainstorm because I was trying to get to the dining hall to eat because I had something else that evening that i had to do. By the time I got into the dining hall, one of my orchestra mates stood and laughed because I looked so comically beraggled.

I don't have any white t-shirts either. Although it's also because I have a stomach in additon to my...ample bosom.

When I got stuck in the storm on my way to class. I just kept walking. Held my bookbag close since I didn't have a waterproof one. ^^"
I was running late anyway.

---------- Post added 05-20-2012 at 11:22 PM ----------

I have a bosom, not so much of a stomach anymore, but still a bit of one. ^^" So, I won't wear white to prevent having stuff like that happen... Plus the shirt won't last long before I get stuff on it.

Oh man, I will ALWAYS end up having spaghetti or pizza when I'm wearing white. Always.

Ample bosom and a bit of a belly, meh has. My worry with white shirts isn't so much food as it is animal related. I have several dogs that love jumping on me.

LOL me too! It's exactly why I'll rarely wear white myself, and when I do, I don't eat..or go outside...or move. o.o

I hate when it's required, like for a concert. Then you have to eat SUPER carefully because you won't have time to clean it!
