Bruce wrapped up the sewwed up woud with some medical gaus, and then layed him on the bed. "Well, I still have first watch. Zoey, look after our new friend here. and Sal, try and get some rest. You have the next watch." Bruce then sat by the door, keeping his shotgun at the ready.

Looking at the young man on the bed, Zoey shook her head and went to sit beside Bruce. She smiled when she saw that the large man was still keeping a diligent watch on the outside world, his shotgun held ready to fire.
"Do you think he'll be alright?" she asked, making herself comfortable on the floor to lean back against the wall. "I hope I didn't kill him or anything."
Glancing back over to Reno, who remained unconscious, the college student sighed. Zoey then looked over to Sal, smiling. "If I did kill him off, at least he's not one of those zombies."

"Don't worry, it was only a flesh wond. He'll survive" Bruce said reasuringly. "And don't be so down on yourself. We are now at a state where we shoot first, and ask questions later."

"True," Zoey said, letting loose a yawn. "So I have second watch, or does Sal?"

"you seem tired. Let's have Sal do second watch." Bruce went to a chair in the corner of the room to get some sleep.

"Alright," Zoey nodded her agreement, standing up to go over to Sal. "Would you mind taking the next watch for us?"
Her eyes were practically closing as she spoke, and the young woman swayed on her feet.

Bruce slept soundly. Then, he awoke to the noise of footsteps out side the room. He slowly reached for his shotgun.

Zoey started awake when she heard Bruce cock his gun, and scrambled for her own weapon. Her clumsy movements knocked the pistol across the room - luckily it was on safety.
"What is it?" she croaked sleepily, crawling over to pick up her lost gun.

((It's been awhile, I thought we could just move the story a little bit.))

"I heard a noise by the door. Keep your guard up." Bruce slowly made his way towards the door.

((Hehe, there's a reason I added a second character in. :P She can interact with Reno even when we've been talking for a while . . . that way she doesn't have to catch up quite as much.))

The woman nodded, and checked her pistol to make sure it was ready. "You'll tell me if you see something, right?" Zoey cleared her throat nervously, shaking her head to wake up a bit more. She moved to stand near the door, watching Bruce uncertainly.

Vance woke up, holding his hand to his forehead and groaning,'Man, what happened? First I'm walking into up a staircase, next thing I know I'm knocked out cold.' He looked around the small, dark room with his bright blue eyes. He saw a mirror in the corner and his platinum blond hair showed in the dark like a light bulb. He easily figured out that he was in a storage room, and when he did, he slowly stood up and opened up the door. He peeked his head outside and looked around.

Bruce opend the door and aimed his shotgun at the man standing there. "Say something" He commanded.

((Drakken, my character is standing in the doorway. The door is already opened.))

((lol, that's true. Hmmm. Perhaps Vance came out of the closet thing and it was next to their room? Thus when he came out, he pretty much crossed in front of their door. :P))

((You know what, whatever, do whatever the hell you want. I'm more focused on my sixteenth birthday tomorrow.))

Zoey stepped forward and pushed Bruce's shotgun down, shaking her head. "He's not infected," she said.
Moving to stand in front of the large man's threatening stance, the college student smiled slightly at Vance. "Hey," she greeted him with an outstretched hand, "Why don't you come on in here and we can talk?"

Vance nodded and stepped towards the woman, letting out a dry cough. He looked around and rubbed his throat, gently,"Hey, do you have any water, I'm parched," his voice was scratchy and dry. He realized that he didn't have his black, leather messenger bag and looked back into the room he was just in. When he couldn't find he, he turned back to the other two,"Have you seen a black messenger bag? I can't seem to find it anywhere."
