Eri wandered into the carnival, alone for now as she could find none of her mene friends online at the moment, but refused to sit out on the fun. So clutching her slightly deflated wing shaped balloon sort of nervously, she glanced around, drinking in the sight of the rides and the games and the food. Oh, the food. She had spent over fifty dollars on food at carnivals before. It was the necter of the fast food gods. And maybe, with a little bit of luck, she'd be able to find a big soft pretzle. She could find those things no where else, and it was a cruel, cruel taunt. She took a few tentative steps forward, eyes darting around with a mixture of excitement and apprehension.

These things could really suck when you were alone... She'd have to meet up with friends later, hopefully. But, until that happened, she was determined to have fun on her own, and looked around for someone who looked sociable.

jelly appears from around the side of a tent..
"Hello Eri! hope you're liking it here so far, i think the midway has emptied because the next round of trivia is underway, there's fast and furious posting going on in Sizzla's thread!"

and with that she disappears into the depths of the fun house..

Lilim hums to herself as she walks through the paths, enjoying the night life... She smiles as she watches the lights around the fairs wheel and hears laughter from the bummer cars.

She hears a drum roll and looks around. "Where is that coming from?" As she wonders what show it might be, Lilim follows the drums still she sees a big group of people standing in and out of a small red tent. The drums are now so loud she has to cover her ears as she gets closer to the tent. To find people dancing around in VodOo mask and Tiki clothing. "Hehe" Lilim watches with a smile.

Once the show is over, she looks over to her left and sees a a some what scary house. "oOo, a wanna be hunted house!" Lilim walks up to the Hunted house giggling at the fake tombstone and skulls set up outside as she enters the house.

A clown jumps out at her holding plushes with no heads. She Screams and Kicks the clown in his shin. "I'M NOT SCARED OF YOU!!!" Sets over the clown and walks deeper into the house. Finding the kitchen with rats walking, eating what they wish.

As Lilim turns to walk away, someone or something sneaks up from behind and grabs her. Covering her mouth with a cloth so she couldn't scream as they carried her away....

Eri let out a yelp best described as pathetically girly when Jelly popped up beside her at first, but smiled sort of meekly and watched her vanish into the crowds. Well, people were certaintly fiendly. Which was good. She watched Jelly go into the haunted house, and considered following, but, that seemed stalkerish, so opted not to. However, after another ten minutes of wandering aimlessly, decided to go and stalk. Which she almost regretted right away as she was a total chicken shit, and found herself clinging to her purse, clutching it to her chest for comfort as she edged forward, whimpering and yelping like the girl she was. she was terrible in horror movies, too. Her friends liked taking her to watch her react so violently. They said it was worth the bruises from her clinging. Jerks.

"Uhm," she said feebly, realizing she didn't know the name of the girl who talked to her earlier, "hello? Is anyone besides a gaint plastic skeleton around?" she called out, having reginaed enough of her wits at that moment to not scream and whimper like a lost puppy, her voice carrying and echoing off the walls. "Echo," she called out, giggling at the effect. That was before she saw someone dragging an unconcious person away. She didn't know why, but, she started sneaking after them, trying to follow without being noticed, with no logical reason to her actions. Maybe she was a stalker.

"Augh.. where is everyone?! I thought they'd come to this carnival too, but apparently not," a disappointed Poi sighed, rubbing the back of her head and looking around. It was night and the real fun was just starting, and yet she had yet to find anyone she knew, not even her boyfriend. Then again, he hadn't seemed very interested with the event in the first place. She wasn't planning on nagging him though, that wouldn't be very smart of her. It was his choice after all.

Looking around at the bright lights and decorations, her deep blue eyes caught sight of a more... shadowy building. The haunted house. It was rather inviting... in that odd way of hers. Fiddling with her Silver Slave Collar, she looked around for any friends one last time before heading towards it. Maybe, just maybe, someone she knew was lurking in there. But that was only if she was really lucky on this night, as she only had a few friends on Menewsha anyway. But they were good enough for her.

Gathering her wits, Poi took a step in and thus her little scary adventure began. It was nearly pitch black and her senses were all on high alert. Already her heart was picking up speed and she nearly jumped out of her skin at the sound of her yukata rustling ever so slightly. Taking a deep breath, the young girl continued on. Let's just say the first few minutes were already full with screams of bloody murder from her. By this time she was clutching onto her Sash of Chaos tightly with watery eyes.

I dun wanna be here anymore... Why isn't Sin here?! she wailed mentally, sniffling. "I-is anyone here? Please!" she called out pathetically, letting out a whimper.

Who would've thunk it? Poi, the "Almighty Ninja of DOOM", reduced nearly to tears all because of stupid haunted house. Definitely not what one would witness every day.

Eri was distracted from her sneaking mission as she spotted a friend of hers wandering around, looking lost and terrified. She had gotten removed from the situation again, and had lost sight of the person she was following anyway when she saw Poi, and, being evil when she her self wasn't shaking in her boots. A grin tugged at her lips as she slunk behind the plastic skeleton from earlier, she'd be whimpering and yelping again soon, but, she knew this room at least. She crouched down, not really needing to hide since Poi was covering her eyes with her scarf. She climbed up on a wooden crate before leaping out, knocking over a skeleton as she did so, and her yell of 'boo!' became a strangled cry of 'buwah' as she got tangled in the skeleton.

And then panicked. "Ah! It's alive! Getitoffgetitoffgetitoff" this was followed by her rolling around on the ground wildely trying to throw her plastic attacker off.

Blinking as she heard a cry of "buwah!!", Poi looked to see her friend Eri being attacked by a skeleton. "ERI!" she screamed, panicking. Not sure what to do, the girl let her awesome ninja skillz kick in and she rushed over, pulling away the skeleton and then swinging it full force at the ground, causing it to break. Nudging it with her foot to make sure it was completely... not moving (seeing as it shouldn't be alive as it's a skeleton), she let out a sigh of relief.

Remembering Eri was there, Poi suddenly clung to her and wailed. "IDUNWANNABEHEREANYMORE!! IWANTSINNY!" she cried out, letting out the waterworks. She wasn't this bad of a baby in reality, but when scary things came the poor girl was reduced to this.. thing... of girlyish babyness. For some reason it was only haunted houses that got her this bad, never movies or even trick-or-treating.

She wakes laying in a bed, Lilim sits up quickly wondering whats happen. "Ahh " She rubs her head, "Where am I?" Lillim looks around and checks the floor, remembering she was in the haunted house. "I got to get out of here this place is going to drive me mad" Quickly she runs out of the bed room into a long dark hallway....

She slowly walks down the hallway to what looks like a stair way, Lilim knows she's so close to the way out she just hopes nothing else jumps out at her. Signs, and wonders where he co-host is when she needs him the most...

"I've been saved!" cried out Eri as the skeleton was flung across the room, eyes having become over sized and watery in a typical anime fashion before she was latched onto with a banshee cry, and fell over at the force of this. She was dazed a moment before she realized that she had a Poi clinging to her, wailing about wanting to leave. "Iwannaleavenowtoo," she said, going back to being a two year old on the inside, "butIcan'tfindawayout," it was true. She had been going around in circles, desperately looking for a way out, which was part of the reason she had started following the other guy, he seemed to know where he was going.

"So, I say we take three rights and a left, that way we can avoid going in circles, and instead will go in wavey lines"

Lilim runs down the stairs and out of the same door thar she entered from. Never looking back runs till she cannot run anymore. Gasping for air she leans down holding her knees as her heart beats so hard she thinks it's going to break throw the skin.....

She stands up and looks around for a place to buy some water.

Flink muttered to herself, something had made her late for the opening of the carnival, and she has wanted so badly to enter when it first began. But, at least she had made it, even if it was hours later. Taking a peek at her watch, hidden by the long sleeve of her shirt she smiled, at least the interesting people were normally out this late.

Taking one last look at the welcome sign, and one last calming breath, Flink stepped into the entrance of the carnival, smiling shyly.

*Walks around looking for the best place to buy water from* Hmm... "I Wish I knew where Gabriel was he has my pass to get free food and drinks" >_< See Flink standing at the entrance looking shyer then the last gummy bear in the bowl. "FLINK!!!" She waves hopping Flink might be able to see her

Loosening her tight grip as Eri provided a theory of how to get out, Poi sniffled and wiped away most of her tears. "I-I'm gonna kill Sin for not coming," she whimpered, standing up and holding out a hand for her friend to take while looking around with extreme caution. Hearing more noises and screams from other rooms, the poor girl started shaking a little while tears flowed again, though not as badly.

As soon as Eri got up, Poi latched onto her arm. "L-let's go," she whispered shakily, with nearly a death grip on the older girl's arm.

Kin wandered into the carnival grounds, it was late at night and although the carnival was lit it seemed to be mostly deserted. She walked past various tents and booths that were empty. Kin shivered, it was very creepy and she decided to turn around. As she turned around to go back to the meadow, she looked in horror as she realized the meadow had mysteriously disappeared. She was in the bermuda triangle of summer carnivals!!!

Jurupa Mae had finally managed to make it back to the carnival. It was night now and everything was lit up. She loved the carnival best at this time of night. Yellow, red, and blue bulbs blinked and shined brightly in the night.

She walked past the bench and smiled inwardly at the conversation early regarding the passing of the corn dog. She wondered where everyone had gone to. The place was seemingly deserted although the rides were running. She shivered and kept walking.

Flink was about to fish in her pockets for a voucher she had for a free drink when she heard someone calling her name. She looked up, thoroughly confused before spotting who it was, complete with the person waving at her.

Flink gave a wave back, heading over to Lilim, "LILIM! Flink was wondering if she'd see someone she knew. Thirsty? Flink has another voucher here... Well, two. She never found her first one." Frowning, she started searching her pockets, pulling quite a few odd things out of both of them.

Shi ran into the busling crowd. She was so late! She told her friend Gabe that she'd come to the Carnival today.

Unfortunately though a random series of events a.k.a. her utterly losing track of time, she ended up coming to the fair too late for any of her usual friends to be around. Shi scanned the area, it was mostly groups of friends or couples out now. No one actually alone.

Shi continued to walk through the crowd, holding up her cape as not to get it dirty. She mentally cursed herself for getting dressed up, it's so like her to think of a carnival as a gathering then going on rides until you become sick. What was Shi to do....

The contact of Sun's head with the floor was enough to wake her up. She sat bolt upright, glancing about her. She rememberd the time before she had nodded off.
"What time is...?" she said to herself in her slightly weak early morning voice.Having no time telling device and nobody around to answer her it was a pointless question. She gave a chough to clear her throat, then stood up. taking into hand the scepter, still proped against the mirrors, and taking her candyfloss that she still held, she sumised that it would be best if she found a way out now.

Deciding not to go back the way she had come first, she took a path that was oposit her to the left, and set down it at a brisk speed.

A little while later.

She could see the light now, at the end of the tunnel, and picked up her pace so that it was now a sucttle towards said light. It had taken her about 45 minutes to find her way out, and she undoubtedly regretted not retracing her steps, that would have been 20 minues from the exit.

As she felt the flooring change from beneeth her and bright light hit her eyes she knew she was outside. She stood to find her bearings. There was nobody imediatley by her, and she still had no idea what the time was, or even if a night had passed. She stood observing for a short while before her stomach told her where she would go.
"I'll try the food courts again." She thought, and set off in it's direction.

Jurupa Mae kept walking, hugging herself and rubbing her arms to keep warm. She kept thinking about how she should have at least brought a cloak or scarf to keep her warm.

Seeing as how the rides were still running she meandered up to the ticket booth and read the prices. She dug enough gold out for 20 tickets. "20 tickets please" she said to the woman behind the thick plastic window. The woman smiled, her two front teeth missing. "Here you are dearie. Enjoy!" Jurupa Mae hurried from the ticket booth. Something about that woman gave her the heebie jeebies.

She walked a little further to the Tilt A Whirl and saw that it was stopped but there was no one around it. Frowning she stood with her arms crossed deciding what to do.

With a stomach full of a smoothie concoction she had purchased from one of the stands, she threw the carton into a recycling bin nearby. She had picked of the cute looking toy Whalecow that had been on the end of a stick placined in the drink for decoration. She twiddled with it between her fingers.

Sun was now nearing the rides. Seeing as she hadn't had the chance yesterday, she saught them out now. She was hopeful that there might be a bouncy castle, her favourite fair attraction. Or mabey even a round about.
It was certainyly quieter than befroe so she figured she must have slept through the night, and that this was indeed morning.

There were a few turnstiles leading into the fairground rides, and she approached one of them. It's inhabitor was a old man.
"How much would a pass for all of the rides be?" she enquired. Not knowing what would take her fancy. The man turned to his right and ran a finger over an price borad she couldn't see.
"50 gold...miss." he replied rather slowly.
"Ok, i'll take one of those please." She extracted the money from the store in her scepter.

With ticket in hand, she pushed through the turnstile and went out into the open the other side, where she fond herself near to a hook a duck stand. finding it took up hand space, she took the whalecow figurine and tied it into her Order hair clips, using a bit of ones ribbon. It peeked out from her hair with a unmoving grin carved on its face.
She smiled as she looked about her, even though it was pretty deserted at the moment.

Star Entered the Carnival again, mumbling to herself over how long she had spent at home.

She made her way through the crowds of people and found herself back at her bench.

She glanced around, wondering if any familiar faces were about

"Damn it!" She said, slightly louder than she wanted "I should have gotten someone to come with me!"

Star sighed after smacking herself lightly on the head.
