Hmm Basically this is my thread for my recommendations for BL titles.
BL basically refers to Boys love
Shounen-ai means you don't get to see the action and sometimes there is not even kissing XP At times its just so obvious that the guys are into each other but nothing ever get said XP
Yaoi means you see action beyond kissing haha...
So if such things offend you, please do not read any further.

My comments : If you like it , you like it, if not, you hate it XP
My personal take is that i quite like the whole series, even though some people says it drags too long. But maybe because there is 26 volumes, i am somewhat disappointed by the ending. The ending i feel, does not follow the way the rest of the story has been told and drawn. The ending is too abrupt and too simple.
There is basically no impact what so ever LOL...

Genre : i will say shounen-ai. Sure enough, there is some kissing scene and they sleep together, but there is no sexual inclination when they did either things

Synopsis : Iwaki and Katou are both AV actors with Iwaki being the older person. From then, romance happens and their life is changed forever while they struggle to keep their love for each other under wraps and their acting career from dying out on them.

Main characters:
Iwaki : Full of uncertainties, after so many years in the acting business, iwaki still have not had his break. Katou rises a storm around him and in his heart.


Katou : Young AV actor who gets smitten by iwaki. As Iwaki gets his break in the acting career, katou starts to get uneasy.

Okay, this series is a famous yaoi series. Whether you like it or not, if you are a yaoi fan, you definitely have heard or read or own or watch it.
Currently there are 4 anime titles under it
Haru wo daite ita volume 1 and 2
together with the periodical story that iwaki and katou acted later on
The winter cicada volume 1 and 2 ( volume 3 coming out in may)

I have to admit, harudaki is not my type of story XP The only reason why i read it is because its really really really hardcore XP LOL

Genre : Shounen ai

Rakan is an orphan who lives in a house all by himself. He however seems to have the green touch. Everyday he will arrived in school with a whole bouquet of pretty flowers which he will give to anyone who asked.
One day a guy appears fainted in his garden (more like a jungle). That guy is from another world and say that rakan looks exactly like the prince of that world. This prince,a ayame, according to chigusa is the reason why his world is turning into a desert. Chigusa wants to protect rakan whom he called as the Sanome, someone who can make plant grows. Together with a snake which is a sword, it's beautiful owner and an ex-assassin, Rakan travels with chigusa to his world and tries to save his world from totally annihilation.

Main characters:
Rakan Sawa : The savior of the desert world

Chigusa Senroh : The immortal guy who does not remmeber his past nor his emotions

Narushige Shigeka : The beautiful guy who is unwanted by his family and tribe where only females are important.

Kou : The snake which can transformed into a sword

Tohji Tohno : An unwanted number kid who was sent to kill Rakan but ended up being on his side

Kuro : The dog XP haha

If you like kooi no mamono monogatari, you will also like this. But don't expect them to even kiss ( though chigusa is a natural sexual harasser haha) I totally expect this series to be as Shounen ai as koori or even more so. But if you like something fun to read, with demons and alternative world and the main kid saving the world filled up with tons of bishies (even Mr baddie is SOOOOOO HAWT!!) then this is definitely something that you don't want to miss!!

Love Mode by Shimizu Yuki

Neko TOTALLY love love mode!! Neko wants takamiya as a husband, Kiichi as a brother and Jin as a lover hahahah XP
Reiji will be nice occasionally XP But neko loves takamiya and Jin hehehe.

Synopsis : Love mode is about various couples that are related to the club Blue boy. Blue boy is an expensive gay host club owned by Aoe Reiji. Aoe's good friend takamiya decides to date someone from the host club named Izumi which is the number 1 host. However he mistaken Sakashita izumi( the little puppy) to be the one since they have the same given name. Izumi mistaken Takamiya as the friend that his friend set him up with. They had a wonderful day but as night falls, Izumi is eaten up by Takamiya and thus begins their relationship. Naoya ( the little kitten *_*) is orphaned and end up living in Reiji's house after a series of events. Love soons developed between the two of them.

Love mode have all kinds of love stories, some of them happy, some of them not ( to me anyway). What the couple will do in order to get the love from the one they love, to protect the one they love and to make the one they love happy. To me i guess, the only story i don't really like is about reiji's exlover XP And the forever hole that the sensei didnt filled up is about the lover of reiji's father ( he may be evil but he is SOOOOO evilly hawt XP)
The art at the beginning will need time to get used to ( since its sooo long ago) but the recent volumes are much better. Some of my friends are put off by the initial art style ( shrugs) but personally i rather like it XP.

the reason why i read kizuna is just to see masa remove his shirt XP
i must confess during that chapter where he did, i must have reread it X times XP
Those who don't understand why... should either read the manga or just ignore neko's fetish XP


There are 3 OVAs from kizuna for those who are interested.

Those who like doujinshi will be familiar with Kazuma or more specificially K2 company XP
She drew tons of Tenipuri DJs XP, FMA... ( neko likey~~!!)

Synopsis : Ranmaru is a kendo star but was however defeated by Kei who have no interest in taking up Kendo. When someone tried to run over Kei, ranmaru saved him but was severely hurt. Helping each other to cope with life, their relationship blossoms.

Main characters
Enjouji Kei : He is the illegitimate son of the Osaka's yakuza boss. He only know of this after his mother passed away. Kei fell in love with ranmaru when he first saw him in middle school and started pursuing Ranmaru.


Samejima Ranmaru : Ranmaru grew up in a kendo family and have won many national tournaments. When he was nearly crippled, he thought that he can never take up kendo again. However with Kei by his side, he managed to stand back up.


Sagano Kai : The legitimate son and Kei's younger half brother. He hates kei as he blamed his mother death on Kei and his mother. Kai is also talented in kendo and he decided that he has fallen for Ranmaru who was extremely strong in kendo.


Araki Masanori : Protector of Kai and the person who will take over the Yakuza's business when Kai and Kei's father retire, Masa likes Kai's mother and was troubled by it. Due to various events, Masa is extremely reluctant to accept Kai's feelings for him.

I've watched all anime series for the yaoi titles. 8D Loved them all very much (VERY YUMMY XD;;) and were very original, lol. Any yaoi fan would like them. Unless you prefer the soft character styles such as Sukiyso (sp?) and Gravitation. XD;

I've heard a lot about these series but I never got the chance to really watch one D: (The closest to yaoi I've watched is Loveless, Yami no Matsuei and others that aren't really hardcore lmao.)
I plan to buy though when classes start again here. (so I'll have allowance again :lol:)

loveless, Yami no Matsuei are mostly shounen ai i will say
anything that is a series and shown on TV are mostly shounen ai haha
Gakuen heaven is yaoi manga but the anime is just shounen ai hehe
Sukisho's anime is also shounen ai

I'm thinking of buying Sukisyo when I have my allowance already.
