Keeping everyone on their toes was a part of Loki's game. Waving Nessa on, his illusion walked her forward, allowing his true-self to sink back and deal with an usual pair of eyes that fell on him. Nessa might detect his absence, but she wouldn't dare follow after the real one. There was a reason he split and all knew to respect it. As the doppelganger escorted her toward the pub where the Slasher was last sighted, Loki made his way around some back alleys. Within no time, he was standing beside the man who's eyes he felt on him for quite some time now.

"Can I help you," he asked in a playful tone. His enunciation was flawless, just like his perfect, white teeth. Nothing about this guy screamed villain. No, no. He was just too damn sexy. Perhaps he was a tad corrupt, but, in his mind, he was right. It was really all just a matter of opinion. Of course, how he went about his plans also mattered. But Loki's intension was to never straight-up slaughter people. It was no fun. To kill was boring. To break the mind and command? Now, that was fun.

His brown-orange eyes shined with excitement as he eyed this beau over. Yue was fair skinned and fair eyed, with matching pale eyes. His outfit was bold, as the red made him flamboyant, but also very sophisticated and becoming of him. The black suit really made his pale features look even whiter. He almost seemed ghostly to Loki. Was this man a Shi? If so, who's side was he on? Loki could trick that out of him, but decided it wasn't worth it. This Yue fellow was following him and for a reason. His eyes were trained on he and his very movement. Cracking a smile, he laughed. "To what do I owe this pleasure? It's not everyday I am stalked, especially by a man of your size and stature." His brow quivered. "Do I sense a hint of power on you. A fellow Shi, I presume?"

Loki circled the blonde as if he were a model in need of inspection by the fashion designer. His hand lightly tapped his chin before he came to a stop. "I like you. I really like you." For knowing nothing about the teenager, Loki had already come to applaud the chap. He was brave for hunting him and even braver for not wavering in his presence. Grin still in tow, Loki put out his hand. "Loki Vinter," he stated, "but I'm sure you already know that."

---------- Post added 12-18-2013 at 10:05 AM ----------

Shaking his head, Halvard looked over at the redhead at his side. "I doubt they know much of anything. We might be a group of elites, but predicting the moments of others is always hard. In the case of Loki, you never know when he'll do something good, which will throw us all for a loop. He's clever like that. He knows how to work an audience and change the tides of war better than anyone I've ever met."

There was a reason Hal always teamed up with Rynn and it was because she was smart. Truthfully, Hal wasn't a fan of the Shi's. He saw them as a threat to mankind, but he also understood that they could be a powerful tool to help in great times of need. Much like superheroes, the Shi served their place in society. In a perfect world, Halvard would have had both groups living with one another and the word "Shi" would just be dropped. When push came to shove, underneath it all, all where still human. They all still had feelings and they all had hopes and dreams. Even family and loved ones.

"I'm sure it's a trap. Or a diversion. But you heard the boss. Orders are orders. We just need to be wary of our surroundings." Hal checked his arm. He had grabbed the right coat today. It was flame retardant, which would prevent him from being on fire should Rynn need to unleash her orange stream of heat. "You just do what you need to and make sure we're safe. Don't worry about me. I have my flameproof suit on." A smirk crossed his lips. "And I do love the tropics so the heat is no qualm of mine."

Rolling up to the tracks, Halvard could already see where the bloodbath took place. Some of the tracks were ripped up and there were pools of blood here and there. A body was toppled over itself closer to one of the boxcars. Frowning, he cautiously opened his door. Gun in hand, he placed one sure foot on the ground. Scanning the area before making another step, he noticed that the coast was clear. The Shi must have taken off further into the train yard. Fingers pointing toward the cars, he signaled for Rynn to go to the right and he would cover the left. Scurrying across the track and past the body, Hal stopped to insure there was no pulse. There wasn't one so he moved on. Now pressed against the cool, metal car, he readied himself to peek around the corner. He heard laughter and knew things were going to get ugly. And fast.

Yue did not waver as he felt Loki come up behind him. He glanced over at him without batting an eye at the presence of two of him. So...intell had been correct...at least partially about him. He watched him for a moment, the look in Loki's eyes typical of one who was sizing someone up. He seemed rather ammused, perhaps thinking he had another toy, but Yue was uninterested in becoming someone's plaything. He started off with a complement, a man known for his flattery and compliments...though they seemed to be laced with a poison few saw past, and many had fell pray to.

Keeping a calm and level head, he watched the other circle him a bit, keeping an eye on him, though not enough to seem nervous or afraid. He wasn't, but he was no fool to throw out caution as well. He had already asked if Yue was a Shi, an odd question to so boldly place out there, but he had expected little else but boldness coming into this. When the other extended his hand, a glance was placed at it as Loki introduced himself. Formalities had to be fully gotten out of the way, and Yue himself was a gentleman enough to accept the hand calmly.

"Yue" he says simply, giving no last name as he typically did when introducing himself to anyone, though many had tried to discover what it was..mostly to gain whatever intell they could on him. "To answer your previous question yes...I am a Shi" he had nothing to hide, rather blunt himself. Though while he and Loki were similar in some personality aspects, they were different in others as well. "I have come merely to speak with you...though I believe this meeting will be cut short unfortunatly.." that odd feeling he had, was getting stronger. Something in the currents of the air...His power in a sense let him read changes within the energy around him, though the technical mechanics behind it would make someone's head spin.

It was all about the electrical currents and such within the air. Maybe this was what allowed him to see though the other's game with the copy. He could make it seem as if he was seeing another, though he could not hide the natural electric signals that his body gave off, no matter how small. Even now, there was a lot of activity going on within the other. He seemed to be a very...energetic man, especially that mind of his. Electric signals moving through his neurons like crazy within his brain. He was deffinitly up to something. It was times such as these, that Yue was thankful he had taken the time to refine his abilities.

Alacor

From the top of the train station, a figure floated just above the utmost point at the top of the roof. At first glance, one would not notice him...they might not even if they looked directly at him. His arms were crossed casually against his chest, his legs elegently positioned with one foot in front of the other. He did not touch the roof, floating above the point in question as if levatating. His eyes slightly narrowed, though the look a cross between affection, and amusement. A light breeze caused his whight hair to lightly sway as he looked down at the scene below.

The train sat upon its side, a few bodies already scattered about, and more joining the numbers as three of the Shi No Ban'nin moved on in their little game. Are you in position Alacor.... A voice rose up within his mind, sending a slight chill of excitement and nerves down his back. "Yes master" he said out loud, though his voice hidden from this far up. "It seems your guests have already begun to arrive" he noticed a man, approaching the sceen, before going to attempt to help a child. The three Shi were nearing his position when a car pulled up. Alacor's eyes shifted to the sight of a man stepping out of it with his gun out. Such a funny little human toy...

In the car with him was a female, she was also a Shi. C.R.O.N.O.S seemed to be the first on the sceen, one of the four major players within this game. Both C.R.O.N.O.S, Loki'd and the Light would be arriving soon enough, none of them could resist such a...spectical. All he merely had to do was wait for them to show, for him to carry out his orders. Do not fail me... The voice once more inside his head. "Of course...I have never failed you before master, and I do not intend to now...the message will be recieved today as planned" his eyes lifted to the sky above him. It was so vast and open, perfectly clear and blue today.

It was slightly a shame that such a nice day had to be stained with blood, but it was what needed to be done. He returned his eyes to the man with the gun, he was making his way closer to the scene. It was time for phase two to begin. Alacor unwinded one of his hands from his chest, giving a light snap that seemed to echo through the air, but was unheard. His smile grew slightly, the little agents below and the rogue were going to be in for a surprise...

Amusement was still on his face and only seemed to fade when Yue mentioned their meeting coming to an end. A frown marred his handsome face. He knew all too well that something was on the horizon. His eyes followed Yue's pair and he zoned out into the distance. "Glad I'm not the only one that's had an odd feeling in my bones." His orbs slid back to Yue's person. "Well, Yue, it's been a pleasure. I look forward to our next encounter."

Bounding off the building, the master of magic, vanished into a poof of sparkles before repairing in the flesh beside Nessa. Peeking over his shoulder, he nodded toward Yue. "Sorry for leaving you, but I had something I needed to address." He could tell that Nessa caught on to his tricks. Then again, he didn't go out of his way to hide it either. Directing his full attention to her, he couldn't help but feel that perhaps the Slasher was not the best move. Pulling out a C.R.O.N.O.S. scanner, he flicked the device on to see if he could pick up any chatter. The system was silent. Turning a nob, the scanner lit up. He was now listening to the Grunge, an underground station that reported police sitings.

"Looks like a showdown's about to go down at the train yard." That was all he needed to hear. "Nessa, I think we ought to see what's shakin' at the station. Want to go check it out with me? We'll need to be out of sight and out of mind. Wouldn't want to get caught just yet." Pivoting on his heels, Loki began his march to the tracks. "I do believe we can watch from the bridge. Let's swing up Park Street and buy some binoculars."

With that in mind, the two swung into a local bargain shop and haggled their way into two pairs of binoculars. They would come in most handy when on the tracks. If only they had a way of listening in. But Loki had an idea for that. He would slip to the scene, invisible, and plant a speaker to pick-up everything that went down. He would then return to the bridge and do some R&R with Nessa, and anyone else that decided to join them.

Yue looked back at the other, as he spoke. It was not soon before he vanished after saying goodbye. Yue felt a sigh rising within him, but brushed it aside. He should be moving now as well. He turned away, moving up the street where he had come. He was not particularly in a hurry at the moment, having some things to sort out within his own mind. His hand moved lightly to brush against the hilt of his blade. He knew he looked odd carrying it, but he usually stayed out of the public eye.

Being hunted by C.R.O.N.O.S did not exactly allow him to go out to much in populated areas. He made his way along, noticing the whispers of the people, many of them talking about the comotion that was brewing at the tracks. As he neared, the difference in the energy was obvious to him. It was different, alive but not in the best way at the moment. He glanced up towards the bridge, a familiar feeling drawing his eyes there. It was most likely the one he had just been speaking with. He slipped around out of the way towards the side of the station. He had a good view here, but he was not open to the main view of the scene. He would be hidden for now, and that was good.

Nessa knew instantly when Loki left her and his illusion self continued on with her. After being with him for so long she picked up somethings about him. He never really talked about his powers but she had ideas from what she had felt and seen from him. She knew that when he left her with his illusion to never follow after him. She trusted him.

The two of them were just about to enter the pub when the real Loki appeared. Looking over to him she gave him a smile. "No worries love. Anything that I need to know?" Her eyes glanced down at the scanner he pulled out and a wicked grin spread across her face. "Oh, this shall be fun," her accent was crisp with excitement. Followed after her leader, taking the offered binoculars after he bought them.

They could see but they couldn't hear. She knew that Loki would have at least one speaker maybe two. "If you have more than one sound bug give me one. We can both place one at opposite ends. That way we can make sure we can catch everything eh?" She wanted to do something, it would brighten up her day and boy did she love using her abilities.

For now Gunther had gone unnoticed, probably because he and the boy were partly hidden by some of the debris from the train. Once the boy’s life was no longer in danger he stopped using his power. The boy looked at the male with pleading eyes. “Please save my parents.” That was all he said before passing out. The male felt conflicted, to do as the boy asked or to just leave before he was found. Against his better judgment Gun stood, even though he was in pain, running off towards the twisted metal, flames and smoke.

He began his search in the area where he had found the boy. As he searched through the twisted metal of what use to be a train car movement caught his attention. Unsure he stopped what he was doing and moved from his location. To him it was clear that the boy’s parents were already gone. It was a miracle that the boy was alive when Gun found him. The male make his way further into the train yard where there was less chaos. From there his plan was to get out unnoticed, hopefully at least.

"Sir" a voice interrupted Yamato as he looked over a few files on his desk. "It has been activated again" she sits a laptop on the desk by him. Glancing at the screen, a red dot was blinking on the screen before him. He was well aware that Loki had one of their scanners, he would be a fool if he did not think that C.R.O.N.O.S would constantly update and change their system to prevent such things. They kept constant inventory of their tech as well, Mizumi their tech specialist saw to that. Right now, Loki was being fed what they wanted him to know, as well as what was common knowledge by the police.

It was not harmful to them at all. If he wanted to place himself closer to the crime scene, the agents there could handle the little pest. He sighed slightly, he knew though that Loki was getting more bold. He would want inside information on the organization. He kept strict regular screenings of the agents for just an occasion, as well as only he and a select few were privy to vital information. Something else formed on the screen, it was very slight, but it was a flux in the energy. His eyes narrowed slightly at it. A few minutes later, a woman came in. She soluted, before getting to the point "we have reports of more Shi heading towards the sight sir." So, it seemed they were converging.

The only two agents out there were...He sighed, standing. Cerberus lifted his head from his paws by the desk. "Sir?" Makoto looked at him. "Prepare my car" he says without another word, stepping out of the office. Cerberus hopped up, taking off on his heels. He had an odd feeling about this. "Are you sure sir...you shouldn't be going out in the field...in the open like that" she said, knowing it would put him in danger, as well as questioned by others. He said nothing, and she took the silence as a sign he would go either way. She used her headset, making the arrangements. By the time they got to the surface, the car was ready and the driver opened the door for the two of them. He got in, resting his elbow on the door and his cheek on his gloved hand. Cerberus laid at his feet within the center of the large car. His eyes shifted to the sky outside. Seemed today would be remotly interesting after all.

"There's nothing for you to worry about right now. Just," his eyes moved back toward the vanishing point where he once stood, "there might be a new player in this game." A grave look crossed his face. "Might be wise for me to determine our true stance on things. You know, define my army and our place in the grand scheme of things." Loki wasn't sure what he wanted. Yes, he was bad, but he wasn't that bad. Things could easily turn around for him and, in the blink of an eye, he could rise to be a hero. Who was to say C.R.O.N.O.S. was a savior organization after all. Enslaving Shi? It hardly seemed praise-worthy.

As the pair received their recon apparatus and go everything into place, Loki turned himself invisible to set the sound device. He tossed it threw an open rail car and saw it made contact on a rock. It was the perfect placement. It was also fantastic to see his brother jump at the light noise is made. Being invisible to the eyes due to his intricate illusion casting, Loki felt himself sweating. It was time to return to Nessa on the bridge and watch this showdown. But, before vanishing, he moved beside Halvard.

"There are two at one o'clock and one to your ten." His voice whispered these hints to Hal. Even though he hated his brother, he did not want the raven to die by the hands of these men.

Before Halvard could even gather his wits, Loki was gone. Touching his neck, the raven looked around the area. An odd feeling overwhelmed him. Loki was nearby and, from the voice that called to him, watching him. "Thanks, brother," he cooed before leaning into the rail car. Rynn wasn't too far from him and he signaled that she should take the one on his ten o'clock. Flipping the gun off safety, he jumped out into the open.

BANG! BANG!

Two shots dropped the two men that were completely unaware that he knew just where they stood. The third one, behind him, seemed to move. Loki's information was slightly off. Dodging, Hal jumped behind a rock. Rynn could cover him from this angle and she would need to. While jumping out of the bullet's range, he managed to scuff up his knee. This would prove dangerous later on. Until then, Halvard would act as if nothing happened.

From the bridge, Loki stood with his hand on his chin. "Nicely done, brother. But I noticed you misstepped. A bit reckless, no?" His orbs slid to Nessa. "Depending on what happens next, be prepared to fight or flight."

She had sighed when Loki told there might be a new player among them. Nessa wasn't worried, they just couldn't use the another complication. Complications were so annoying to her. Her head bobbed in agreement along with his statement. They did need to make their true stance on things. No matter what it was she would follow him.

Leaning up against the bridges railing Nessa crossed her arms and watched Loki leave. Then she turned and brought her binoculars up to her eyes and watched the scene below. She glanced up briefly as Loki appeared next to her once more then returned her attention back to the train yard.

"That is going to hurt later," she said in regards to his brothers knee. "Oh please let's flight love! I've been itching for a good fight for ages." Nessa liked action, she wasn't that little girl in the woods no more. After seeing her parents killed, she became prone to violence.

Two of the three men were gone now, but at the same time more were beginning to surface. The third man from the origional two moved with impressive speed. He appeared behind Rynn, angry that two of his men had been dropped so easily. He struck her from behind, causing her body to drop to the ground unconcious. He for a moment raised his foot as if to stomp her out when the sound of a gun echoed into the air. He froze, turning to look. A black car had pulled up, a silver haired male had gotten out. A gun un the air, it was still smoking from the shot.

Yamato handed the gun to Makoto as she stood by him, his eyes for a moment flickering to Rynn on the ground, then over to Hal. He was anything but impressed with that little show...especially noting Hal's little exchange with someone he seemed to refer to as brother. He had figured Loki would be slinking around. The man glared at Yamato, not realizing who he was at first. He moved, rushing forward out of brute anger. Yamato did not even flinch as the man closed the gap between them.

Makoto tensing, her hand going to her gun at her hip. Yamato already had it covered though, lifting a hand slightly towards the attacker's coming frame. A flash of red light sent the man flying across the railyard into the damaged train. The wall of the car buckling under the force. The man dropped instantly unconcious as well. "Fool" was the only word Yamato said below his breath. Makoto turned to go to Rynn, to make sure she was alright. Yamato stayed where he was for the moment, his eyes survaying the scene. He barely even acknowledged Hal for now, which slightly portrayed he was not particularly thrilled with the other. He sighed, "is this your idea of handling the situation Agent Vinter?" he asked, finally acknowledging him.

The male had went about firing off a few more rounds, especially at the man that pursued Rynn. Hal noticed she was acting odd, very odd. Was she poisoned? Was something happening? Just then, another enemy Shi jumped him. Thankfully, Halvard's expert craftsmanship allowed him to move unscathed from this situation. Rolling backward, he landed on the balls of his feet, which he popped to in no time. With a good lunge backwards again, he let his hand touch the ground while his feet moved through the air before catching up to his hands. A good cartwheel's worth away from the enemy Shi, Hal unleashed one bullet that broke through the creature's skull. In a second, the enemy was pinned against a condemned rail car. Shot point-blank, there would be no recovery for this deceased soul.

Shifting on his feet, Halvard hadn't even noticed his boss had entered the scene until he was being addressed. From the sounds of it, it was more of a scold than a praised. "Tch," he hissed his despise. It wasn't his fault he was in a pickle. Rynn was utterly useless! Perhaps his trust in the Shi was misguided. Looking over toward her previous location, he caught the bare end of what looked like a prong or a needle. Eyes wide with panic, he moved toward his partner. What happened next was a blur.

He came crashing through the walls of the weathered car. His feet collided with the face of the enemy as he tried to add space between he and his injured partner. Based on the two holes in her back, he could tell she was tased. Hissing, he looped his fallen redhead comrade over his shoulders before pulling her dead weight through the remains of the car. Back on the other side, which was a barren strip between where he stood and his vehicle, he saw two more Shi approach. Or perhaps, they weren't Shi. It looked as if the one that stunned Rynn was just a criminal. He had seen the guy's face before, too. He was someone the CIA wanted.

Instantly, he was swarmed by the three enemies, but he didn't falter. In fact, he shined.

Dropping Rynn, he ran headfirst into one of the men. Headbutting him into the ground, Halvard's foot bent back and man's neck so that it went past the stopping point. Jaw out of alignment and neck broken, he knew he wouldn't have any issues with this simple fool. Pivoting on his heel, Halvard raised his emptied gun up. With his other hand, he slammed in a new cartridge. Once full with more rounds, that same free hand reached for a knife at his hip. Holding the gun outright with his right arm, the left hand snaked over his stomach to shield with the knife. These next two, one Shi and one human, were coming for him next.

In an instant, the two were grabbing for him. The human was welding his pronged taser. The Shi, he appeared to actually be a she and she wielded a whip. The whip cracked just before his face, it's razor-blade like force slitting his cheek and pulling out blood. The sting of it didn't shake him though. No, Halvard was still locked in for the kill. The second her whip cracked again, Halvard shot his knife blazing toward her torso. As she moved to dodge, she didn't notice the agent's hand move toward the retreating whip. Seizing it between his gloved hands, a smirk played on his face. Taken aback by his dangerous stunt, the woman's lack of motion brought about her demise. A good yank on the whip sent her flying his way and the gun that once rested in his right hand had a bayonet protruding out the end. Her chest cavity was no match for the force that drew her into the piercing tip. As the bayonet punched a hole through her chest, Halvard flicked his wrist toward the criminal that dared flee the scene. Without thought, he pulled the trigger six times. The first two bullets burrowed through the dying Shi's body. The other four bit the criminal in the leg before moving up to his spine. Dropping in no time, that man would never move again. Paralyzed but alive, Halvard could bring him into questioning later.

Giving his bayonet armed gun a good jerk, he kicked the dead Shi from his weapon. His eyes flicked toward Rynn. Hatred, a deep loathing for everything that transpired was plain as day on his face. His jet black hair was pinned to his head, due thanks to the sweat that formed just above his brows. His cold, gray-blue eyes locked onto the man who stood on the other side of the rail car.

Silence filled the air as the two men looked at one another. Then, he felt it.

A quick jab of pain moved through him. His moving to the corner, he spied the one person he never pegged to be there, the guy he literally just killed -- the one with the broken neck. It was amazing how fast the gods seemed to grace him with a second life. Halvard was still in control though. Even with his left arm bloodied up from being shot at, he was still capable of moving. However, he didn't seem to need to.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Five shots and a flicker of red. Fading green eyes smiled toward him.

Panic-stricken, his eyes widen with horror. Just what the hell was Rynn doing! Reaching out for her body that was riddled with bullet holes, he cried out. His voice cracked, chirping almost as if it were a very concentrated dose of lightning. Shaking followed, but not before his blood-shot eyes locked with the face of a grinning man.

"Baka," he cursed to Rynn, "I didn't need saving."

Just then, an invisible string became visible. The area was rigged. While Halvard was making his moves, he had set-up a small snarl of wire that could slice the body if enough speed was had. The newly turned Shi? He was sliced to bits long before the bullet had fired. The trigger finger only spazzed and could have been avoided easily via dodging to the left.

With Rynn's cold corpse now in his heads, he dropped to his knees. Blood was around him. It was everywhere. Still clinging to her, his ghosted eyes lost their fiery luster. Everything he fought for. Everything he did. It was for nothing.

"Baka," he cursed again.

Limp and cold, he just sat there, utterly vulnerable to everyone and everything. He didn't care anymore. Not at this point. His partner... she was dead. He had failed her. He had failed C.R.O.N.O.S.

Hope this post is okay. I was trying to kill off Rynn in a heroic matter. Lemme know if I need to change it.

The scene that opened up before them, caused a flicker of annoyance to form on the head of C.R.O.N.O.S' face. He sighed a bit as the smoke cleared. "Makoto" he said. The female stood at attention understanding, "yes sir." She pulled out a phone, calling it in. Slowly, Yamato made his way across the train yard. The place was a mess, all of this was overkill and it would mean more clean up to take care of it. He paused near the man now holding his partner. His eyes on him sitting there holding her. For a moment the area was silent, there were plenty of things that could have been said. The easiest thing to see though, was that this was the end of the female assigned to be his partner. His eyes closed for a moment, as he said a mental message he would not have said out loud.

His image was to be the hardened leader, to do what others could not. Right now, that ment he had to be the cold voice of reason the other most likely did not want to head. "She is gone. There is little that can be done about it now, rookie and foolish mistakes" he says, looking at him. "You have two choices...get up and continue, or return back to base if you are unable to continue. You are no use to me here if your head is not in it" with that he turned away. It was a but harsh, but it was true. The other could fight so Rynn's death would not be in vain, or he could step aside and not allow himself to be a liability and allow himself to be killed as well. He glanced at the defeated targets with a slight sigh, stepping past one. Sirens came from the distance, other members were already on their way to deal with the carnage.

This never should have happened. They were better agents then this, rookie mistakes. He would deal with the other later, once he had a chance to wrap his mind around this. Then he would be getting an earful and he probrably would be expecting it. Yamato did not tollerate this kind of mistakes. Now one of his members were dead, it should have been a relativly easy mission for them to deal with, so what had gone wrong. It was then that an odd shift began to happen. A eerie red color spread through the sky above. Time seemed to slow down around him. An odd energy as well was floating around them, unlike anything he had felt before. Something was here.

Looking at the scene below him, eyes softened a bit momentarily as he watched the female's life come to an end for the second time. Partially it was because of him, his master's will...but there was little time to linger on there. It is time..... The voice inside of him once more caused him to close his eyes. He raised a hand towards the sky, for a moment all was still before a red tint began to form from the light within the sky. It spread like a dome and a shadow, Alacor the central point. It lowered on all sides around him, blanketing the entire city in an eerie red glow. Birds began to freeze in the sky, mid flight.

People on the street paused mid step as well. Slowly it was like time slowing down, sounds fading away, until a silence had fallen along with the red cloak over the city. The only people left unaffected were those chosen in the immediate area: Yamato, Halvard, Loki, Makoto, Gunther, Nessa, Kat, Yue and Yuki. He smiled, looking down to see their reactions to the scene coming out around them. After a moment though, he merely made as if he was taking a step forward. He continued to levitate, though each step seeming as if he was walking down an invisible set of stairs. It continued this way, until he was standing within the train yard, floating about an inch off of the ground. So it was beginning.

After all that happened, Halvard wasn't surprised to see time slow. He actually thought it was his heart sinking. That was until he realized something was afoot. His gray-blue orbs danced around the area. First he looked up at his boss and wondered if the man was also able to move in this semi-frozen world. Time seemed to stop, or at least slow to the point of not moving at its usual pace. Slowly, and with confidence, Hal rose to his feet. Standing square to Yamato, the raven let his eyes lose their sorrow and become those cold, well-trained eyes of an agent. Slipping his gun back into its holster, he crossed his arms over his chest. Head still facing forward, he spoke.

"I promised to serve you until the day I die. I am keeping that promise. No matter what happens, no matter how much is destroyed, I will continue to protect and serve." With an affirmative head shake, he directed his gaze at the floating man. Just who was he and was he the one that stopped time? Eyes peeking around some more, he noticed movement in the distance. Two figures were back-lit against the skyline. "Loki," he murmured to himself.

It was interesting to watch everything. Loki turned toward his partner. "Fancy, no?" He was talking about his brother's grace and skill. "He was always the best. He excelled in everything. It was hard living in his footsteps. And yet, I did it." A smile appeared on his face as he saw his brother triumphantly defeat all the foes. He clapped but it came too soon, as Rynn's tragic death followed.

"Something's wrong," he said while his brows furrowed. "We'll need to go check it out. But there's no way Rynn missed that cue from Halvard. It was plain as day that he was lacing the yard with wires. That glint in his eye said it all. How could she miss it. Wasn't sure one of the greats?" Stroking his chin, he turned to Nessa again. "Use caution as we approach," he warned. "I think a gas or poison is causing mental blocks."

It was then when the world stopped. Loki, frozen for a moment, broke from the time lapse. "Interesting. It looks like our host has finally arrived." A smirk played on his face. "Let us go. As we sweep into the area, check for canisters or vials. I know they are there." There's no illusion that could fool him, or so he thought. Jumping down from their location, the pair moved toward the group.

Yue stayed where he was with all of the events unfolding before him. It was easy to see the other's plan, but that woman....She was acting very off. It was around this time that a familiar face came onto the lot. The leader of C.R.O.N.O.S hmm.. Yue sighed slightly, wondering if it would be best to slip away now. The events that followed though, kept him where he was. The advancing Shi, the fight and then....that strange acting woman was dead. For a moment Yue stood there, a slight pain in his heart.

He slightly cursed himself for not stepping in. He realized then, that his hand was on the hilt of his blade. He had been unconciously ready to move..more on instinct. He took a breath, the sky above begining to redden, as well as the world around them all began to slow. He noticed the birds frozen in the sky, then cars and people as well. Odd, what was going on? The strange energy he had sensed before was intensifying. The feeling of it lighting up the air around him. He glanced over at Yamato and that agent, noticing the icy change in him with a sigh.

He also noticed Loki's energy on the move, he was coming. Looking up, he noticed another figure stepping down from above. He did not recognize this one, who was he? The source of unknown energy was coming from him. He tensed a bit more, though he felt like hiding his presence would not do to much anymore at this point. He slowly stepped out from his place, leaning against the wall now.

Yuki couldn't believe what he was seeing. He had arrived near the tracks, looking out at the area from a bit aways behind a building. His body was shaking admitidly, as he watched the man and the woman moving around and reacting to the men who had attacked. It was like something out of a movie. He couldn't believe it, but at the same time, he couldn't look away. He noticed when the car pulled up, and the odd man stepped out. He looked to young to be that much older than Yuki himself. He was even more shocked with what he did next. Yuki stepped back.

He had always had a feeling there were others like him, but this...seeing it in person like this. He was tempted to move away and get out now. The scene that followed with the man and the woman made a strong sick feeling rise within him. No...she couldn't be...he couldn't have seen someone die..not right in front of his eyes like that. He found he was holding his breath, his throat and mouth dry. It was now that red began to flow out over the world, causing him to look around at the scene once more. What was going on here? He really shouldn't be here. He turned, but red writing moving across the wall caught his eye.

He is here.

He? Who was he? Yuki felt as if an odd pulse moved through him, turninging his eyes immediatly landed on the male coming down from above. He felt suddenly like a robot or a zombie, like the world faded and he wasn't even himself. His mind dulled, his feet moving him slowly forward unseen by the others quite yet. He couldn't seem to stop himself though. Something was pulling him towards all this, towards that power. It felt a lot like his own in a way. His heart begining to race.

Eye's peeled on Hal she couldn't help but be impressed. The guy had serious skill. Looking up at Loki when he spoke she reached a hand out and placed it on his arm. She turned to look back just in time to watch Rynn die. The hand that was resting on Loki's arm gripped tightly in anger.

"She was one of us," Nessa growled out. It didn't matter that the fire-bender was with C.R.O.N.O.S, she had been a Shi, one of them.

She nodded at his warning. Her mission was to spot them out. Her foot was shifting forward when the world stopped for a second. Wasn't that interesting? Able to move again Nessa raised a brow at Loki.

Launching herself into the air she fell down to the ground and landed in a crouch. Straightening up she slipped a dagger into each hand that she grabbed from her boots and followed after her leader. She was on the lookout for any attackers, it was her job to protect Loki, though he didn't need it.

The second she had heard about the incident at the train tracks Katerina had made her way over there. There was something in the air and she needed to figure out what it was. Something big was coming and she wanted to survive. She was all about survival.

Perching herself up on a roof top, she gripped her bow in her hand and watched the scene below. It was a modernized bow, where it could fold up and be placed into a small backpack to hide. Her arrows were the same, ranging in all different sizes and easy to conceal in her leather backpack, which was currently resting on the ground next to her.

Making sure she was concealed from any eyes Katerina crouched closer to get a better look. Off to the right she spotted the two agents and watched the fight. She was amazed by the mans skill, he was extremely good and she was slightly impressed. But then something happened at the Shi agent was slain. Closing her eyes for a moment Katerina said a small prayer for the red heads soul. When she opened her eyes the sky was red and everything froze for a moment. When she could move again her gaze snapped toward the man levitating.

Grabbing up her backpack she slung it on and grabbed an arrow from the open compartment of it. Taking off at a run she flew through the air over to the next roof top and hit the ground still running. Again she launched herself into the air, landing on the next rooftop. Instead of jumping to the next she entered a door and quickly made her way down to ground level.

Once she was outside she stealthily made her way back to the group. She would help them fight. How that agent had treated his fallen comrade sealed the deal for her. Katerina stayed in the shadows as she crept closer. The element of surprise would be her greatest advancement in the oncoming battle. She could feel it in her bones, there would be a fight.

Gunther watched the battle from a safe distance. He hadn’t planned on running into something like this. The male glance back to where he had left the young boy. He had mixed feelings about leaving the boy, but there wasn’t any more he could do without causing harm to himself. Plus the man didn’t want to have to tell him that his family didn’t make it. Hearing the gunshots he turned his attention back to the fighting.

Before his eyes he could see the red head falling. She was dying, he could feel it. Something made Gun come out of his hiding spot and start rushing towards the woman. If he reached her he could possibly save her, but before he got too close something told him to stop. The man froze in place, it was too late. Life had left the woman and there was nothing he could do.

Something felt off, the air felt heavier for some reason. It only took black haired man a moment to recognize what he was feeling. Death, it was thick within the air. Something very bad was coming, he was sure of it. Looking around he noticed that time seemed to have stopped for everyone except for him and the agents he had been watching. Gunther started moving toward the open area like something was pulling him. As he was forced to move out into the open he pulled out his guns that he kept on him as all times.

Alacor glanced in turn at all of the guests who were still able to move. He smiled, it looked harmless and innocent. He knew he looked rather simple on the surface, harmles....people did in this world. There were few who were honestly outwardly intimidating. But looks were always decieving. Once those who needed to be were close enough to listen, he gave a slight mock bow in greeting. "It is a pleasure to finally meet those who seemed to have captured the attention of Death himself" there was a slightly playful edge and tone to his voice, his eyes moving to Yamato, then Yue and finally to Loki. He gave another pure smile, his hands moving to lightly intertwine fingers behind his back.

His demenior was more casual at this point, though it still remained formal as well. He made no move to show his hand at this point. "My name is Alacor" he says, knowing that would obviously be their first question. People were predictable that way. When faced with something unknown, the first question was always to ask..who are you? His face lightly turned up towards the reddened sky above, as he let a silence hang in the air between all of them. He knew the others were there, after all, he had allowed them to remain unfrozen. But for now he showed little intrest or acknowledgement in any of them.

"I apologize if I come across rude or draft but," Loki's eyes light up with delight, "do tell me more about this delightful red canvass you've painted above us. Although names are quite dandy, it simply cannot compare to the world you've created for us." He was no ordinary man, which was why he was not phased about the revealing of Alacor's name. After all, a name means nothing unless you know something more about it. And that was precisely what Loki wanted. More. The more he knew, the better he could judge this man. Was he friend or foe? A force to be reckoned with? A force to align with?

His eyes jumped from Alacor to Halvard. A hand slipped upward to give his brother a wave. This action instantly peeved the raven to his left, bringing forth a playful smile on Loki's face. Before Halvard could open his yap to give his brother some sort of quip or remark, the fiery ginger directed his eyes back at Alacor. As those orbs of his shifted toward the man holding their attention, he couldn't help but notice the figures at this meeting. Something was fishy.

"Names aside, why did you bring the big three together. Myself, C.R.O.N.O.S.'s leader, and my cryptic acquaintance." He saw Hal nod, which meant the agent was in agreement with him. Sometimes it was nice to know that his thoughts weren't so far off from those of his genius brother. "Again, not to be rude, Alacor." There was a playful chirp to his apology of sorts. It was obvious that Loki was having a smashing time with this whole thing, which was probably drastically different from Yamato's serious demeanor and Yue's elusiveness.

Yamato glanced at Halvard, then over to the approaching Loki and then Yue. Quite bold moves in the presence of their enemy, but then again at the moment, they all saddly seemed to be on equal turf. He remained silent for the moment, though he was very much paying attention. His mind at work calculating and analyzing the scene before him, even though on the surface he looked calm...slightly rather bored at the moment. He glanced over at Makoto, who's eyes were moving around a bit, to take in the scene around her.

He listened to Loki's words, and sadly part of it he was curious about himself. Who was this mysterious guy...how was he able to do all of this, and who's side did he align with. Something about him felt very powerful, and at the same time very dark and twisted. It was like a monster was hiding behind that innocent smile of his, but he seemed harmless enough for the moment.

There was more to this then they knew on the surface for the moment. He sighed slightly, his head begining the silent ache that signaled the coming of a fututre headache. Just what he needed, on top of dealing with all that had already gone on this day. He changed his stance for a moment to a still serious, yet more casual, stance...at least for him that is. His eyes rested on the one named Alacor once more. He remained silent even now, information and then questions.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yue remained silent at the other coming down, and then Loki coming into view. His eyes silently moved to each party in turn. Electric energy within the air was lighting up his senses. He could feel the power buzzing in the air that was invisible to the others who were not able to deal in such abilities. It was coming mostly from the newcomer, but he could sense Loki and Yamato's energies shifting as well, with a mixture of curiosity and athouraty...maybe a bit of dominance? He sighed, placing the three of them together was like placing a pack of soly alpha animals together.

They would most likely tear eachother appart if they were not delt with or kept in check. He had no intrest in a fight though, but he could not be sure the other two would play nice. What was it this newcomer was doing here? Why was he interested in them? He obviously was a shi or something, the abilities and energy coming from him would have and could have never come from an ordinary human. He crossed his arms slightly, his eyes on Alacor as he attempted to figure this male out.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alacor chuckled at Loki's words. He was rather blunt and straight to the point indeed. His eyes moved up to the sky, "it is simple...so we will not be interrupted by those who have no place in this little story.." He then looked down to them again. He raised his hand, giving it a slight wave. Within the air his hand had just passed over, three blue glowing cards appeared. One side was black, the other was the glowing blue with a depiction of a sun and a crectent moon. He pointed a finger at them, one floated to Yamato, Loki and Yue.

They hovered before the three men as Alacor spoke once more. "I am here on behalf of my master, to invite the three of you to a simple..meeting if you will" he says, "there is far more to what you refer to as the Shi No Ban'nin than you know. As well, if you are interested in knowing about the red room and death-" He paused, a slight clang catching his attention. He glanced over, seeing a very important player who had yet to come into play at this point. His smile slightly deepened.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yuki paused just out of sight not to far away. He heard the male introduce himself, so...his name was Alacor. He felt an odd sensation move over him, his hand slightly moving to his head. It felt odd, like nausia but he was not going to be sick...a fuzzy, slightly out of body experience was begining to set in. He felt connected to all of this some how, but he was beyond unsure about this. Why was he feeling this way?

None of the others seemed to be affected like this at all, so why him? He glanced down, and almost gave a slight cry. His shadow had turned into the same red blood like substance he usually created and bent to his will. It turned into what looked like a hooded figure, reaching a long bony finger out to point at Alacor. This...this had never happened before? He took a step back, forcing himself to do so.

Unfortunatly, he hit a scraggly bit of scrap metal as he did, causing it to clang and shake. He froze, all around him it felt like the world had gone silent. He took a deep breath. His eyes had been on the odd cards, to which Alacor had just been giving the others. He was speaking about a meeting, when he had been interupted by Yuki. He felt the light eyes of the odd male turn on him, causing a deep chill to run through his body and soul.

"I do hate interruptions," Loki said with a smile. "So thank you for that. Still," his eyes shifted toward his brother and then to some of the other faces he didn't know, "if he's looking for us three, why allow these other players partake in our excellency?" He really wanted to know Halvard was privy to such information. A part of it was jealously, the other has was out of worry. Depending on what happened, he didn't want Halvard to get hurt. Odd, but even Loki had to keep an interest in his brother's well-being.

"A meeting, eh? Can we call it a party?" His orange eyes traced the outline of the card. "It's more inviting that way. Wouldn't want someone to scamper off in fear, now would we?" His eyes went straight to Yamato. He had a feeling the guy would send his agents or woman in to do his bidding. He just seemed like the kind of guy to be overly cautious. Loki, on the other hand, didn't give a damn. Fun was fun and mystery was mystery. Why not attend, he thought.

"Just tell me when and where, Alacor. I'll be there. Wouldn't want to miss a personalized invite from your master. He sounds like a very charming in--" With Alacor's eyes shifting to a clunking sound, Loki's did the same. "Have we another guest?" Oh, he was really starting to enjoy this meetup. There were so many unfamiliar faces he was just dying to know.

Yamato noticed the look in his direction. So it seemed Loki had little faith that he would show hmm? A slight smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, but he pushed it away. He had little trouble in reaching out and plucking the card from the air, as if silently bidding he would attend. He was looking for information as well. He looked over it for a moment, before the sound of the clatter gained his attention. His eyes immediatly turned to a male who was not far from them.

He said nothing for the moment, clearly the boy had no idea what was going on, and had not intended on being seen. He made no move though, there was no reason to now that he had seen his face. He was a bit curious though, as to why this one was not 'frozen' either. He did not belong to C.R.O.N.O.S, could he be with Loki? He dismissed the idea, he probrably was not with Yue either. So, was this one a Shi to then? Just a rogue one who belonged to no group...Seemed he had just been foolish enough to catch the attention of all three heads there. He would look into it as well later.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yue watched Alacor, then looked over as Yamato seemed to be the first to boldly touch the card that had been offered to each of them. He noticed the sound of noise not to far off as well, glancing over at a boy who was close by. Who was he? Yue had not seen him around before, but by the energy around him, especially right now, he was diffinetly a Shi. He could feel the hum of it in the currents of the air. It was slightly similar to Alacor's but...why? From the looks of it, the boy was not working with him, nor did he look like he really belonged there at the moment at all. Yue's eyes moved back to Yamato, then Loki in turn. He wondered if either of them would make a move to the boy. If they tried to harm him, weather this was part of this plot or not, he would defend him. There had to also be a reason he was able to move and see all of this. Who else was lurking around able to move?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yuki felt the eyes turn on him, suddenly feeling frozen in place. His heart was racing within his chest, as his breath seemed to catch and his throat went dry. Well, he had successfully managed to get himself discovered...so much for slipping away unseen. He tried to hide the fact that his body was wanting to shake at the moment, as he tried to will himself to take another step back. Unfortunatly, his body did not wish to comply. For now, he was where he was, his eyes moving from one person to another. Who were these guys? He could not help but to keep thinking that as well. What would they do, now that they knew he was there and watching. Would they hurt him? He might have no choice but to fight but...could he?

Even though he had moved further out into the open it seemed that none of the others had really noticed him. Gunther was thankful for that. The less interest they paid to him the better in his opinion. Hearing noise he looked in the direction it had come from. A boy stood there, was he a Shi as well? None of what was going on really made sense to the man. For now it was probably better that way at least that is how he felt.

Still he kept his gun in his hand just to be safe. There had to be more to all this than what the messenger was telling them. If this Alacor person only wanted to meet with three of the people here then why not freeze everyone except for those three? Why let others be unfrozen as well? It just didn’t make sense unless there was more to it than just inviting those three men to come speak with him. His attention returned to the one in the sky. His presence made the male uneasy, but really the whole situation did. In the back of his mind he couldn’t help, but to think. Thanks old man. Now you really are going to get me killed or in prisoned by CRONOS. He smirked briefly recalling what the old man had told him long ago about putting this ‘gift’ to work. Gunther felt that he was no longer going to have a choice, but to use his so called ‘gift’. For now he stood there listening and observing the situation.

Still in the shadows, Katerina watched the group before her. She was hidden from view, clutching her bow in her hand. For now she wanted to observe before making her presence known but she wasn't stupid. Obviously the floating guy knew she was here, he might not know her exact location but he knew.

She watched the "big three" in front of her. Then upon hearing a sound behind them she snapped her head in that direction and her gaze fell upon a boy. He looked no older than 18. Katerina couldn't help but feel protective over him. She kept to the shadow's and moved a little bit closer to him.

Standing right behind Loki and to the left Nessa watched everyone around her. She made sure she positioned her body so she could gaze at everyone that she could see. Her powers were ready for action. If need be she would snap a force field around herself and her leader at a moments notice.

Hearing a noise she whipped out a knife from her thigh holster and looked towards it. Just a boy. Frowning she turned her attention back to the man before them all. Keeping the knife in her hand, she twirled it so that the blade was pressed against her forearm. Not out in a threatening way, but with easy access to it.

Alacor smiled, looking at the other male. He tilted his head a fraction to the side, before his feet left the ground a bit more. He lightly flew over to Yuki, moving around him in a slightly observing way. "My my... I did not think we would be seeing eachother so soon, but it will certainly be more interesting now" he glanced at the others. "I will await to see what you have decided...if you choose to attend, your questions will be answered there" with that, he gave a light bow to the others, and began floating backwards into the air. The red of the sky above was slowly begining to fade, and the smile on Alacor's lips was more playful and amused at this point. Though he was not wanting to go just yet, his curiosity still on the ones below him.

"Aww, is our little met-up over?" Loki's eyes instantly went to Halvard. "I suppose all fun things must come to an end. I mean, Halvy was invited so it only makes sense. He's always been a party pooper." His finger poked his older brother's cheek. "'tis a shame about your partner. I even tried to save her." He saw a look widen in Halvard's eyes. "No, you weren't imagining things." Skipping backwards, he moved away from the C.R.O.N.O.S. pair. He didn't overly trust the higher up. Halvard, he was easy. But Yamato? Who was to say he wouldn't pull a gun on him.

"You haven't changed a bit," the agent hissed. "I'm surprised your tongue didn't get us all killed." Arms crossing over his chest, he looked from Loki to the woman at his side. "This your girlfriend?"

"Oh come on. It was clear from the very start that he was here to have fun. And this beautiful creature? She's my right-hand-gal. What we do isn't your business."

"Ah, so you're not dating her. Perhaps one day you'll settle down. But until then, I guess it's Loki all night long, right?"

"Exactly. Why not enjoy life and party like there's no tomorrow. Besides, it's not like I'm causing too much trouble." His orange orbs fell on Yamato. "It's funny how a third party seems to be forming. Or maybe... a fourth." His eyes shifted to Yue quickly. "Have you noticed that the amount of rogue Shi has been at an all time high. I wonder why that is. My army hasn't been dwindling. So that means more have become Shi. But why...."

Halvard shifted uneasily at Loki's comment. It was true. A lot of their sightings weren't Loki's men. A few were but most were rogues. "I suppose this party will catch you up to speed. Be sure to keep me in the loop." He went to grab his cuffs in an attempt to bring Loki and Nessa in, but he saw the multi-colored man move back some more. There was no point in catching Loki. He would figure out a way to flee. Might as well save his strength for another day.

"You be careful," Halvard instructed.

"As should you." Flicking for a moment, he vanished along with Nessa. In fact, he and Nessa had left the moment after he poked Hal. The illusion was already set to have it appear that both were still standing there when, in fact, they were moving toward the kid.
