Q&A: Right now I celebrate Christmas 'lite' because that holiday means a lot to some of my family members - I seem to do a little less each year, which I'm perfectly happy with. Usually have an informal Solstice gathering as well. If I ever get invited to other religious ceremonies/celebrations by friends I try to make a point of participating to honor the friendship. Nothing exciting this year though!

Q&A: Daria is one of Menewsha's token Jews...SO, tonight I will be celebrating the 4th night of Hanukkah. I'm being insanely lazy this year and not lighting candles when it is just my guy and I. I do have my 3 little electric Menorahs out on display and am screwing in my little light bulbs accordingly. Saying a prayer in general is not really my shtick, especially not over a light bulb, so I am ditching that part of the holiday for the time being. Next week, my family is having a Hanukkah party, so I will then actually light a real Menorah, play dredle with my cousins, and eat the traditional fried foods including jelly doughnuts and latkas.
