Rumour has it that there are three items in the world that will grant the possessor untold power as an Alchemist. The three are the Holy Grail, the sword of King Arthur which he had pulled from the stone, and the Philospher's Stone. In short, this is the tale of my quest for these items, and the fame that they would bring.

Alas, you're quest isn't an easy one.Her protection is all that matters. The rewards that await you at the end of this journey are unfathomable. The only question is, are you prepared to sacrifice it all for her?

Opening her fob watch, given to her upon completing the State Alchemist Exam a year prior, Naphtali checked the time, tapping her foot impatiently while she waited for the train to arrive. She had found a lead in a volume in the library, and was obviously planning on following it out. Chances were that it would come to a dead end like every other lead, but she didn't let herself think about that. Instead, she clapped her hands together, manipulating the air to blow some of the smoke and dust away. It was a trick she had learned from her master, the clapping. Her ability with gases and liquids had earned her the name The Phantom Alchemist among the military. And when she was wearing her uniform, it was no wonder.

Jerking at the sudden, sharp whistle of the train, she grabbed her bag, flashing her watch at the conductor to let her on. That got her a first class compartment at once. Of course, she still had had to hand the man her ticket. As she sat down in the cool seat, she waved for a stewardess and ordered an herbal tea, stifling a yawn. She had done another extensive study night, and she was planning on getting a nap for the trip. It was quite fortunate that the watch shut up any and all questions about where her parents were. So what if she looked like she was ten? The question remained unanswered in her mind as she drifted off, face pressed against the glass.
