Just finished book 40! And the last red queen book- War Storm. It was really good. It was also the only one in the series i hadn't read. I think the next books i'm going to read are the eat pray fml books, if i can get into them, but we'll see. if not, i have another fantasy series waiting in my KU library that i added at some point thinking i'd be interested but right now i have no idea what they're about or what they're called. (i'm also just waking up, so..)

Anne McCaffrey books are always a good option, in my opinion.

Just finished book number 36. "Love Flushed". It's part of a romance book series that my friend lent me focusing on disabilities and accessible themes. It was pretty good!

Yeah, this one was about Chron's Disease. The first one I read was a wheelchair user. There's another one out in the series. I think it's for a sight disabled person?

I just finished The Paris Apartment yesterday. It's one of those mystery thriller type things. It was pretty good. That was book number 37.

Oh I really love that! It brings some enlightenment to the topic which seems really nice. Given that its a romance I'm presuming its respectful so I love that.

Yeah, that series of romance books is like a very idealistic world where everyone is so super respectful and I'm here for it.

I looked up Love Flushed and looks like the series is called All Access. Both books so far have such adorable cover art! O: I'm very interested.

Thanks Kent! I’m looking forward to reading the last one at some point. Right now I’m listening to an audiobook called “The Prisoner”.

I'm currently reading The Four Winds. It's about a mother trying to survive during the dust bowl. It's pretty interesting to learn more about that time period.

I finished book number forty. I mostly enjoyed it until the end but the more I think about it the more problems I find. I got a bunch of books from my new local library. I think I’ll start Crying in Hmart next.

I started Crying in Hmart. It's not my usual thing since it's a memoir but I'm giving it a go. It's a summer read here and the author is going to be in town giving some talks so I might go.

Quick update since last time i posted in here- i didn't start reading what i said i was gonna try to get into, but instead i read more of us to the west by trinity dunn. After that i was going to continue reading the other 3 books in the series, but got sidetracked by rereading one of my favorite series. It's Super Powereds (years 1-4) by Drew Hayes with a spin off book that takes place during parts of year 3 Called Corpies. All 5 books i would recommend to everyone because they're all so good. Well written. I'm not sure if libraries will have the books, but it's available for sale on amazon, and included in Kindle Unlimited, and on Audible ( ;) ) for those who prefer audio books. Super Powereds is based in America at a college called Lander (there is a real lander, but it's in SC, btw.). In these books, there are humans with no powers, Supers with powers they can control, and Powereds with no control of their abilities. The story follows a group of 5 Powereds who underwent a brand new secret procedure that made them Supers who all decided to go to Lander to train to be the country's next Heroes.
My husband and our girlfriend like to compare it to My hero Academia, but they are definitely not the same.
So i'm just about to finish up my 45th book with year 4, and then i'll reread Corpies for book 46. After that i'm not sure what i'll read.

I wanted to share that if you haven't read The Bonds That Tie series yet by J. Bree - I super recommend it. Great plot/story, some spice and excellent MFC! Love the entire concept of the series so far, I'm on book three and I just started last week LOL

I finished Crying in Hmart. It was pretty good even though not my usual genre. I'll probably try to go to the author event just because I haven't been to many and without knowing anyone in town yet it's worth it to go and mingle. I probably won't ask any questions though.
