I decided a few years ago that I'm basically never planning to travel during holidays, but I know a lot of people still do (save on that leave time). Does anyone have any plans for Memorial Day? Travelling or otherwise?

These days I just like to enjoy the extra day of actual rest. Maybe I'll have a hotdog or something, lmao.

I am probably the most boring person ever in that regard. I am planning to clean out my closets that day

Yeah, I went to find some of my art supplies the other day and a bin of yarn fell on my head, it told me its time for a good spring cleaning. I figured a holiday day was the perfect chance for it

Omg, not a bin of yarn. Do you knit or crochet? I think I have like 2 or 3 skeins of yarn from when I was wanting to learn, but uhhh never got past that stage.

I crochet, but I haven't in some time. My hands hurt if I do it for too long so its a long process for me nowadays, so I've fallen into other creative outlets like painting and drawing. I'm also a fan of adult coloring books and diamond paintings when I want something a bit more mindless after a day of work. I have so many skeins of yarn though, I should start something and just do a little each day.

It's finals week for me, so I will probably spend Memorial Day studying. xD

I had a pretty fun and busy 4-day weekend. :D Watched Guardians of the galaxy 3 and went to a pay for freeplay arcade on Friday. Went to a gay art show and a drawing meetup on Sunday. Yesterday, I just went to my brother's house and had dinner with his family. X3 I was disappointed they weren't grilling. XD

Oh! How was guardians? I haven't been able to go see it yet!

I loved it soooo much!!! Made me cry! So many heartwarming and tragic scenes. ; w; It mainly focused on Rocket but we really got a lot of nice development and closure for the other guardians too~

I'm happy to know that they gave them a good sendoff for the last movie. I heard Peter is still gonna stick around though, which is cool.
