Lune was sipping her tea, it was pretty delicious, though she hadn't really encountered a tea she didn't like....Except maybe Earl Grey. Something about that kind of tea was just yucky. She blinked, blushing a bit as Leon asked her if she would need company on the way home. "..I.." She blushed even harder, looking down at her tea and holding the cup tightly. "I'm not even sure how to get home from here." She was just a little embarrassed by that, but really she probably shouldn't be. It was perfectly acceptable to be lost in a part of town you'd never really thoroughly been to before.

She drank a little more of her tea, frowning a bit. "I live under the big dome, if you could take me as far as it's edge, I could find my way home easily....Though, I have a driver, I could have him come pick me up." That last bit she said rather reluctantly, she didn't quite want to leave Leon's company yet, but also, if she called the driver he would no doubt tell her parents exactly where she had been and Lune didn't want to deal with that at all. If they found out, she probably wouldn't be allowed out of the house without an escort. It would be easier to just come in and say she had been at a nearby friend's house or something. Or sneak in a window and pretend she had been home all along.

Tyson sighed, hopping off of the bus. The people walking away were not any of his buisiness, nor did he really care where they were going. He turned in the opposite direction, walking along the street. Up ahead though, he noticed the men from before. His eyes narrowed a bit, he had the sudden urge to bash someone's head in again, those disgusting pigs. He looked away, pulling his hood up once more as he walked closer. They were laughing, talking about going to get drunk as he walked closer to their range. One of them happened to look up, the one who had been harassing the girl. The one he had bashed his face into the seat. He glared, stepping in Tyson's way. He began spouting some crap about Tyson thinking he was badass, and a lot of other obscene things. Tyson had no intrest in listening to his words, so he simply walked around him. This seemed to piss the man off even more, he and his goons surrounding Tyson. He sighed a bit, glancing from face to face. These odds did not look good,.....for them.

-------------------------------

Leon watched Lune slightly in their silence, not making it obvious though. When she told him where she lived he paused for a moment then nodded. He did not mind helping her out, though as she mentioned her driver, she seemed to be less than pleased about it. He did not want her to do anything that would place her in trouble, even of the parential kind. "Don't worry. I can get you home no sweat, your parents wont know a thing" he smiled a bit, trying to lighten the mood and try to make her feel even remotely better. He would be able to slip back in before his parents knew as well if they came home. He had done it before...some of them not his best moments. He pushed those thoughts out of his head, focusing on the here and now. He began cleaning up a bit, putting things they no longer needed away.

"Dome? On the other side of the city," Elek replied with a slight chuckle, right before he stopped at gates that led to paved pathway right up to a small, light painted house with few big trees nearby. There was a hammock hung between two of them. If not for the rather well-kept lawn and blinds in windows, it would have looked like recently abandoned as it lacked personal touches like flowers or ball tossed somewhere on the side. Until, with few barks and happy tail wagging, shiba-inu rushed to gates. "Hey there girl," Elek greeted dog and unlocked gates and Jolan immediately went to lick his hands and then, do the same with Ivory, even if she had walked ahead some.

Jolan recognized white haired girl as Elek sometimes took his dog to work and didn't mind if people at shelter, either volunteers or that sought help, played with her. "If you plan to get there, you might find it a good idea to stop for rest until morning for public transport although it may be a bit of trick to get onto anything that goes there, " man spoke, leaning down to scratch behind dog's ear that now paid attention to him again.

He turned his face towards her, a little smirk playing in his lips at first part of sentence, before turning nonchalant once more. "I am not asking to exchange friendship bracelets, but my house is right here, I'm used to lending my guest bedroom to those who need it. And there's always hammock if you don't feel comfortable come inside. I don't think it will rain tonight." If she said no, fine, although he was playing with idea just dragging her along and making sit down inside, but then again, her life wasn't really his business, was it?

Ivory stopped when Elek did, just out of reaction or curiosity. He opened the gate in front of him and a familiar dog rushed out to greet him, before coming to see Ivory, too. She smiled at the dog and gave her a little rub, before remembering she had an audience. She stopped smiling to clear her throat, and shoved one hand in a pocket, and busied the other tucking hair behind her ear.

She sighed at his words. So she was far from the dome then. Where had that bus taken her? She had to remind herself that it didn't matter, because she wasn't going back. Ivory had looked off into the distance, imagining how far the dome might be, when Elek made his offer. She looked at him then with light grey eyes, seemingly appalled.

It was only a front though, to hide how surprised she was that a stranger, well mostly one anyway, would offer his home to someone he didn't know. People were just not that kind or generous. What game was he playing? At his last words, Ivory looked up at the sky. A raindrop fell onto her cheek.

He didn't think it would rain? Was that a joke? Rain clouds had been rolling in since she got on the bus, and now they were here. As the first rain drops fell, Ivory rolled her eyes. Of course. She stared at Elek for a moment, clearly aggravated to be accepting his invite. "Fine," she said, following him in the gate. Truthfully, she absolutely hated rain. The last thing she wanted was to be stuck outside in it.

((Sorry for taking so long to reply!))

"You know, this opportunity was exactly what I needed to begin with. It made the biggest different in the world." Calla's eyes looked distant as she gazed out at the ocean, watching the waves roll as far back as the eyes could see. Everything for her had changed and it she still had a hard time believing how different her life was from what it used to me. "It wasn't easy, of course. I mean, I have always found it easy to communicate with animals. So, the ob has always been a breeze for me. I love the work," Her eyes were shining as she thought of her connection with all the animals she had encountered. Her and her companions were close, very close. She understood them and they her. Calla glanced back over at Todd, a smile stretching across her face, "At first I just helped friends and people I knew with their dog's behavior and helped trained them, but after so long word spread of a great animal trainer. I wouldn't say I'm great or anything, but they seem happy with my work. Eventually my name was spread all the way to this city and I was contacted about working with the law enforcement as a dog trainer. Of course, they bribed me with my own pet store as well.." She beamed, a bright smile lighting her face as she thought about everything that has changed, "Guess they heard about my love for animals as well. I now run my store without any help from them and I help train their pups and dogs when needed. Luckily they aren't constantly needing the training.. because that would mean bad news for their already trained canines."

Todd listened intently, his eyes shining with happiness at her story. "That's really amazing. I'm pretty sure what you've got here is the American Dream. Something everyone tries for, but very few obtain." He said, without any envy in his voice at all. He was genuinely happy for her. "I've always been pretty good with animals myself. Maybe I can find a job in that, like you did. Grooming, maybe, or a zookeeper. Perhaps breeding." He said thoughtfully, imagining himself surrounded by all kinds of animals all the time. The picture was one he liked. "Maybe I can work for you." He joked. It would be ideal, sure, but he didn't expect it to ever happen. After all, she barely knew him. He hadn't filled out an application or had an interview, and he certainly would never think of begging.

Calla grinned and tilted her head towards Todd, "You know, why don't you join me at the store? I could use another dedicated employee. It gets exhausting sometimes an my other workers are lazy.. But, I just don't have the heart to fire them. Guess that's a downfall of mine." She laughed lightly and glanced at the Irish man, "Seriously though, would you consider working for me? I think it would be very helpful."

She thought about how he seemed to in on cue with nature and her companions seemed to really like him in such a short time. There must be something there to him. If Todd wasn't a good guy in any way, then her canines would have sensed it and gave her a warning. They were always protecting her, always being over protective. They never were aggressive with the other people that worked in her store, but they also never paid much attention to them either, so perhaps having someone they love in the pet store would really help things out. He had to be a good guy, at least.

If he didn't control his expressions as well as he had learned over years, one would have been able to see how he froze inwardly in something similar to horror when rain drop hit his face. No, Elek, wasn't afraid of water and wouldn't mind a walk in a downpour, either. But it was the little details that could be his own downfall. Maybe inviting her inside when he was tired hadn't been the best idea? He could have another slip-up... No, his role was his second skin now and that's why he had had made that mistake. Besides, there was no way he could retract the invite and not feel bad about it.

However, on outside, his face remained calm, with grin tugging one corner of mouth upward. He shrugged, as if about the rain and Jolan walked by his side, happily wagging tail and barked once more when he opened doors for Ivory, letting her in first like a lady. As it had seemed from outside, the house wasn't very large and, similarly to outside, it had very simple interior. From corridor, you could walk into living room that had comfortable couch, small coffee table and small shelf with rather old TV on it. By window to porch, stood tall bookshelf in which one shelf was freed for rather impressive sound system. One shelf was filled nearly entirely with books written by Tiresias. No souvenirs, nothing truly personal, besides a painting of a strange, harsh landscape above couch. Only thing that broke simplistic look was small window alcove, but even that was bare.

He hung his jacket on coat hanger and led her down the corridor. When it turned to left, he stopped and gestured at the doors at end of hallway. "That's the guest bedroom, make yourself at home. Right next to it on the right side, there's guest bathroom if you want to freshen up or take a shower. I got not spare woman's clothes, though." He scratched his chin slightly, "I'll cook some food for us to eat in a bit." With that said, he slipped in his own bedroom across said guest bathroom.

When she entered guest room, it was nearly empty besides rather big bed by one wall with small bedside table with alarm clock and lamp, desk by window that had radio and lamp on it, closet. If she'd open it, she'd see it had few male shirts and T-shirts still in packaging, two pairs neatly folded jeans that were too big for her. All of these things were new and put in there for usage of next person he'd bring home - they were usually males - and they would get to keep it. Similarly, in guest bathroom, there was clean, large towels, bathrobe, toothbrush in its new packaging and fresh tube of toothpaste, two new shampoos as well as other necessities. All awaiting their user.

Meanwhile, Elek washed up his face real quick, pulled his hair in neat ponytail again and changed in his home clothes - simple t-shirt, baggy jeans. Basically, same as he wore before, just fresh. Even the toned glasses stayed. Soon, he was out and in kitchen where Jolan was eating from her bowl happily - of course, there was a bowl by her doghouse, too, but what you couldn't have for a whole day seems so much more delicious, doesn't it? On man's shoulder, degu was sitting and observing everything carefully before it ran down his arm and settled down by cd-player on one of the kitchen counters. Currently content, he turned it on. But it wasn't music that came out. Instead, a man's voice started new chapter in audio book that seemed to have a prominent nature theme.

He lined up all ingredients neatly on counter, looked the lot over and then, quickly, began preparing tomato sauce and soon also boiling pasta. While he was rather engrossed in this, he didn't miss Ivory's arrival (if she did come to kitchen area) and turned to look over shoulder, nodding to her to take a seat, either at small bar that seemed to be empty or table in dining area right next to kitchen. Now, if she'd want to take a peak in his own bedroom, she'd find the doors were not locked and that it was nearly identical to guest bedroom, except there was also PC on table and piles of papers and books. There was also another bookshelf on the side of desk.

Todd blinked and turned to look at her with wide eyes. He was honestly surprised, but his surprise soon morphed into a delighted grin. "Really? You mean it? I'd love to!" He said, punching the air. "I'll be the best employee ever! I'll work nights and weekends and overtime for no extra money, and I'll help with everything you need help with!" He promised, sounding a lot like a child who was just given a puppy and was promising to take care of it. The opportunity was more amazing than he ever could have dreamed, and he was completely thrilled with it. "Oi, hey, it's not a downfall that you don't fire them. I mean, if they're doing bad things like stealing and whatever then you should fire them, but the fact that you're just too nice isn't necessarily a bad thing." He said, calming down enough to talk normally.

After listening to Todd enthusiastically accept her job offer, she began laughing a hearty laugh that seemed to consume her entire body. "I'm so-sorry," She said in between fits of giggles, "I don't think I've ever seen anyone so excited." Her blue eyes were sparkling brightly and as full of life as the ocean that rolled before them. "And they aren't mean, just seem a bit lazy is all and don't want to do their jobs without whining. It's a good thing I'm fast at all the jobs there or I'd be swamped with lines and unhappy customers." Calla, still grinning, began to realize that she probably should lay them off now. "I also didn't know who else to trust in the store with the animals either. Didn't want to just hire anyone else. You never know about people.."

The sounds of cursing drew Glimmer's attention away. Again. She followed the sounds of the fighting and saw the source of it. A couple of punks picking on another guy. The nice girl in her wanted her to help him out. The not-so-nice girl said grab some popcorn and take a seat. The guy didn't seem worried, so Glimmer figured she'd stay and watch, maybe call the cops if it got rough. She didn't want to get tangled in a fight, but come on. The guy was pitted against three others. She wondered how long it would last.

Todd's eyes sparkled as he listened to Calla laugh. It was probably the most beautiful sound he'd ever heard. Corny and cliche, but true nonetheless. "Ah, well, you can certainly trust me. Sorry I got so overexcited, it's just that this is an ideal job for me. I couldn't help feel lighter than air." He said with a chuckle. The sun was almost fully set by now, and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore was like a lullaby. "So, you think the dogs are all clean yet? Hey, maybe you should subject every new recruit to a dog test. Have these three check 'em out, and if they like them, then they're good." He suggested playfully, knowing full well that it was actually a good test.

Calla glanced over at the now darkening sky and watched as the last of the pink rays danced across the waves, "You know, that would be a good idea. I had thought about doing so before, but some might think that my dogs are too... intimidating." She watched as the three canines trotted up to them, all soaking wet and panting as they came to stand in front of their master. Simultaneously, as if planned, they all began to shake, throwing water droplets all over both Calla and Tod, "Hey!" Calla laughed and teasingly shook her fist at them, "Grr! You all are in big trouble!" The canines just barked as if they her laughing and decided to go and lie in a patch of grass as the beginning of the beach.

Todd laughed loudly as all three dogs decided simultaneously to shake, drenching both Calla and himself. After they had gone to lay down, he grinned at her. "Well, if someone is afraid or intimidated by animals, then working with animals really isn't for them, don't you think?" He asked, running a hand through his now damp hair. He wasn't too wet, so it wouldn't bother him much. He's probably take a shower when he got home, anyway. Stealing a glance at Calla, he couldn't help but smile as his heart lifted. The thought of working with her was a dream come true.
