⚔Evolution⚔

Evolution. Scientists believe it is ment to happen at a relativly normal and steady pace, that possibilities of major evolution shouldn't be possible for another few hundred years. They fail to notice, that the next idea of evolution is already upon us. There are those that live in secret, forced to live in the shadows for one important reason. Their not like other people. Abilities of the mind have been around for decades, people questioning weather psychic powers really do exist...They do. Years ago, when our kind first began to surface, a scientist became particularly interested in us, in our abilities. At first he wanted to help us, along with his coworkers. They wanted to find a way for us to be able to use our abilities to the fullest...to change the world.

Things failed to stay that way for long, for the more he "worked" with us, the less he began to think of us, until we were merely labled as pawns and tools. He wanted to find ways to advance our powers, to strengthen them and evolve them further. Our abilities are labled into three overall catagories. There are the Teleporters, also known as "jumpers", the Telepaths, also known as the "seers" , and the Telekenetics, also known as the "movers". Those were the code words for our kind, unless people were working with the scientist, they would be unaware of what they were speaking of. Usually we fit into just one of these catagories, each of us having one field of powers.

There are those however, who seemed to have evolved further in our race and posess all three of these abilities, they are known as "ultimates". To put it bluntly, he wanted to turn us into soldiers, passing it off as it being our duty as the next generation of humans to carry on with these plans. What exactly they were, only he knew. There was a hitch in his plan however, for a failsafe seemed to form itself into our brains along with these new abilities. It was to prevent us from using our powers to take someone's life. We can't kill by our own hands. However, this didn't stop him. He created a serum, that would..change our brains.

It would unlock the part of us that kept us from taking a life, but as work on it advanced, it began to turn us into mindless zombies who only listened to and worked for him. Basically weapons, killing machines...we became the pawns he sought. He was ready to unleash us on the world, and it had nothing to do with protecting humanity as he led us to believe. Not unless they were all united under one rule, his rule. But something went wrong in his plan, he did not expect some of his subjects to rebel. A fight broke out, and his labratory exploded...taking him, his work, and many of us with it.

The fire destroyed everything, all traces of evidence and those who were left were not sticking around to let the police take us in. We vanished, dropped off the face of the earth. Six years later, things within the world have calmed down and returned to normal. Jumpers, Seers, Movers and Ultimates all live their lives among people in a relatively normal way. But what if it isn't over...what if someone knew about us...decided to take up the old scientist's work. What if they decided to try his plan again, to use us...or destroy us...

⚔Psychic Powers⚔

Teleporters:
Also known as "Jumpers", teleporters are able to break down their bodies into particle state, instantly transporting themselves to another place. Jumpers are also able to teleport anything they are physically touching at the time, some are advanced enough to teleport something that is familiar to them or from them without having to physically touch it. They have speed on their sides, able to teleport long or short distances with practice, as well as to do continuous jumps overtime until they tire themselves out. Drawbacks of this power, are that anything caught within their 'aura' at time of teleportation is threatened to be teleported with them if not careful. The aura, is a one foot radius around the person teleporting, it appears as they teleport in the form of a smoke like cloud with light running through it, believed to be the essense of their pure energy state.

Telepaths:
Also known as "Seers", telepaths are able to communicate through the mind. They sense the presence of other minds around them, and are able to read the thoughts, emotions and memories of others. The connection is strongest when they are in physical contact, but they do not need to be to read someone. They are able to establish links, which allow them and others in the link to communicate without even having to say a word out loud. They are able to create mental stress on others, which can cause immense pain, or even stress if not stopped. Drawbacks are their more sensitive to minds around them, loud sounds or to many thoughts or stimuli at once can overpower a Seer if they are not careful and focused. There are also those who are aware of telepaths, and know various tricks to keep their minds blank from those who see inside.

Telekenetiks:
Also known as "Movers", are able to focus the power of the mind into physical forces. They are able to move things with their mind, by thinking of it or with a wave of their hand. Their also able to focus their energy into shields, blasts and more with the force of their mind. Some are able to use this force to levitate, or to crush the minds of others..literally. Drawbacks are that using this ability is using the literal force of one's mind, if the mind is not strong enough to carry out an action, it can cause severe damage to the user and strain on the brain. Using this ability leaves them open to other mental abilities at the time of use unless they are trained well, since it requires reaching out of the brain and letting one's mental guard down in order to project their force.

Ultimates:
Ultimates have no origional name, they are called this due to their ability to use all three of the above abilities. Ultimates are rare, and powerful, the three fields combined supporting and amplifying the others. Little is known about their tallents. Drawbacks are, they are not expected to live long lives, potentially to late thirties early fourties if their powers are used excessivly. This causes a burnout in the brain, leaving them in a relatively vegetable like state. It is rumored some live longer than this and are quite powerful, but they are very rare.

5. Keep ooc within the ooc, I do not like ooc in the rp thread, so keep it out. This is your only warning.

7. POST A GOOD SIZED PARAGRAPH MINIMUM. I understand writers block, but I will not tollerate one or two liners. They take up a lot of space, and are hard to reply to.
8. I will add/subtract and update the rules as needed.
