As do I. Almost wondering if I should have my husband apply for the position since they will teach him what he needs to know. They aren't doing anything remotely close to escrow or title.

You better watch your stick, Howdy. Roddzilla doesn't take kindly to strangers poking his woman with their stick. Hehehe.
And for the record, I feel glowy and mysterious. But it feels like it's missing something.

Roddzilla is my husband and he has an account on here. Not very active, but he is around. Some place.

Ahhh! I have a fear of kielbasa

Just Kielbasa. One of those unfortunate incidences involving roller skates, moth balls, a trampoline and a kielbasa. My social life has never been the same.

Oh yeah, at the annual Baptist picnic. How could I forget?

Don't companies frown on hiring couples though?

I claim no responsibility for that part of the incident, he shouldn't have tried to be the savior of the day.

Not always. I know plenty of places that have hired couples. They typically don't work in the same departments is all.

Poet, I would rather him take this job since it pays lower then what I am making now and this is a good place for him to learn mortgage stuff.
Really want to take the escrow officer position at Fidelity, it pays $28 an hour, however, it's only guaranteed for 3 months and after that I could be hired on full time, or let go. Not really willing to lose what I have right now for an unsure thing. Ugh. Damn decisions.

28 an hour is a lot... wow. Though I guess the best way to look at it, is consider it a 3 month interview you get paid for.

My 5 week interview (pharmacy tech) is this winter but I won get paid for it :(

I've done unpaid internships. They do suck at times.
You're right about the paid interview. Would be nice to know I would have a job after the three months. I have almost 7 years with my current company.

Yeah, hopefully I'll have enough money saved up by then

7 years? Gosh I can't imagine staying that long where I am now. Almost a year and a half and I'm sick of it.

I do enjoy the things I do at my job. Not always thrilled by who I work with and how they do stuff. Or the drama they stir up. Stupid bitch. But I digress. Heh.

I really hope I like the people I get a job with when I get into Pharmacy o.o
It's a very small room that typically has 3-4 people in it

Working at a Pharmacy always looked like fun. At least it does when I have to go in and pick up my meds.

Well, the people in my class seem to have the time of their lives... but granted some of them are very.... weird...

One girl walked around to everyone and asked "Are you married?" and there were like 5 of us who aren't married with kids of of 18.

It's fun to learn though. But it's a lot of heavy duty words like Vibramycin, Alprostadil, Ethynil Estradiol, Methyltestosterone... stuff like that.
That and learning biology all over again :(

I loved working at the Third Party Health care administrator place, we processed claims and I always got to see the medications. Loved saying the names of some of them and looking up the ones I didn't know on Drugs.com.

Biology was always a favorite of mine. How things form and the structures of stuff.

Drugs.com is an awesome site. I use the app, since I'm on the site 15-20 times a day at least. Pharmacy techs cheat
It sounds like fun in passing, but my teacher gets really annoyed during lectures trying to read her lectures

Yeah... but learning about pee isn't as exciting as pretty much any other topic...

Pee is super exciting. Hehe.

I would cheat for sure. I used the website when I was helping my friend Lindsay go through her mom's stuff. Loads of random pills laying around and we wanted to know what they were. Lots of pain meds, just don't remember which ones. Oxy for sure, some Percocets and a few others I was not familiar with.
Speaking of Percocets, when I rolled my ankle the last time, sprained it pretty good, the doctor prescribed me 60 of those bad boys. Seems he didn't want to see me in his office again. Fine by me.
There was the migraine that was messing me up too. Percocets worked wonders. Slept fantastic and bam, woke up with no more headache.

Speaking of waking up, time for me to hit the sheets. Got that pesky thing called work tomorrow. Damn it. End of the month is always chaotic and crushed for time. Have to rush to get files closed.

Maybe to someone who finds it entertaining?

I think for looking for what a drug is Ident-a-drug (I think?) is a good one. Can be sorted by color, code, etc.

Rest well ^^ that's how I feel at the end of each mod for class. Rushing to get our labs done.

Not sure I find pee entertaining, but it's interesting the things you can test pee for and all the diseases that show up in pee.

That ident-a-drug thing is AMAZING! Used it quite a bit.

In the closing department the front of the month to the middle is always kind of slow, people dragging their feet and what not, then it comes to the middle and the end looming closer people start realizing they haven't met numbers and now need to RUSH and make things super critical. Thankfully my closing department is a bit different then the REO closing department. We have special circumstances and issues that can delay closings. Mainly the bank having their say in everything so they hold up closing quite a bit.

That's true. It's useful for finding some diseases and lots of drugs. You can also start a fire with it...

It is amazing. That's a website I honestly wish my job told me about. Considering we deal with meds constantly it would be useful if we could actually tell the doctor what medication got missed.

Ah lovely... so basically you're just sitting there waiting for the bank to say what you already figure they'd say so you can finish your job?

Pretty much. Today was a bunch of stupid questions and no responses to necessary questions. Ugh. Hoping tomorrow will be better.
