Seiki- I thought about going into editing, and after some serious consideration I decided I probably didn't have the eye/patience to deal with the grammar and spelling and punctuation. :lol: I could revise the story and help with sentence structures and aid with the fixing of badly written bits and all that sort of business, but the more mechanical aspect would kill me!

Iltu, I fix errors in books as I read them. You'd be surprised how many editors miss little things. But then again you have to think how many times do they read the same thing over and over and over before they move on? I guess it could get tedious, but I'm down. I'm a really good writer too when it comes down to it. I would write a book if I could manage to sit there and actually go further than a chapter. I get bored with my writing very easily. I'm more of an essay writer. So maybe I would do better at a magazine.

Lol, it's fun to find an occasional typo in books. People aren't perfect.

Seiki- Sometimes I notice things, but for the most part I don't think I'd be able to do it. I think that's be my problem as an editor- after one or two times of reading it, I'd just start skimming. :lol: When I write I can get a few chapters in, but my problem is I've got so many ideas I don't know what to write next, and I bounce between them too often to get any real work done. And I like to write out things as they occur to me and then I have to weave them together, and I also write short stories about the character's histories, and then I get caught up in those, and oh it's a mess. :lol:
So, anyway, I'm a rambler too!
As far as essays, what do you like to write about?
