I've been a member of Menewsha since October 2009. This was my first complete avatar.


I'm of the lady persuasion and for the most part I only do lady avatars.
My unloved mule is a dude but I rarely spend gold on clothes for him. Poor fella.

My personal style is:

With the recent release of Hawtsome, I've become a huge fan of the angry eyebrows that are a part of it. I like to wear those too.

I'm a huge fan of backgrounds, but I try not to force them if they don't work.
My inventory of commons is actually quite limited, so I re-use a LOT of items.
It's actually very rare for me to purchase commons, unless specifically for a contest or if I'm questing an outfit made in the DAC.

I usually center around nature-based themes, fantasy themes, or post-apocalyptic themes. I'd like to get into more futuristic/high-tech some day, but I have trouble experimenting with that sort of stuff.

Aww, thanks! :blush: I always feel like my avatars are underwhelming because I recycle so many items. I figure people get tired of seeing me use the same things over and over :lol:

Pssh. I can't tell that you reuse anything at all, and everything you do has such a nice elegance about it! Okay, maybe your current murderous nurse outfit doesn't, but the theme still makes me laugh, which is just as good. :XD

Your win in the User's Pick Thread was long overdue, and I can't wait to see you up under Admin's Pick!

Lol, the nurse thing was just a bit of fun. I've had a creative block since I've come back.

Aww, I'm glad you think so. I do remember talking to a couple of users about it and they were like, "Seriously, that's your first win?" "Uhh... yes?" :sweat:

Right now I'm trying to decide between doing something for my mule or doing something spring-ey.

I know that feeling. I didn't change my avi for several months, and then I changed it to this one a couple of weeks ago and won Admin's Pick a few hours later. :rofl:

Yeaaah, don't tell anybody I said this (it's not really a secret) ;) but the same people win User's Pick over and over again almost in an exact order. They're usually good avis, but it's not exactly fair. It takes a new person about five or six avis to actually win in there. XD

Hmm, that's a toughie. I like your avi design, but your mule could use some spoiling since he looks like he's still having a Halloween party--nothing wrong with that, though, haha. Halloween is fun.

Lol that's kindof how I feel about Admin's pick sometimes. Maybe some day I'll get it, but I'm not holding my breath :lol:

I was able to go back and find all of the avis I've made that have been nom'd for User's Pick, so I put those up. I was able to find two that I hadn't saved myself! Hooray!

I still have no idea about Project Mene though. I have a few avatars saved from it but I can't remember which ones won rounds.

Looking threw all your avatars I'm kinda shocked you haven't won avatar spotlight sooner.

I don't think it works that way though, unfortunately. And to be honest, I was really surprised that avi won, because I really didn't feel it was worth saving and I had made it just a few hours before it got picked o3o

Holy moley, another User's Pick win! I was shocked about the nom in the first place (since someone had actually bothered to save it; I wasn't wearing it when I was nom'd) and then after a SIX-WAY TIE I finally tied with Neller! I still feel pretty dumbfounded :lol:
