Since the event is coming to a close, I'd like to take a moment to say thank you to everyone that made this event possible. You guys always have great events, but Halloween is usually one of my favorites. I really like that you chose the Day of the Dead theme this year. I appreciate that Menewsha is multicultural.

Thanks also for extending the event, especially since I missed much of the beginning of it due to being busy.

I also really liked how you did the currency this time. Bringing back the store currency was a nice treat. I also liked how you could convert between the Event Item Rares currency and the store currency. I often end up with extra Event Item Rares currency, so it was nice to be able to put that to good use to help me afford the items I wanted.

I really wish I could say something as well thought out as what Zen has already said, and don't want to simply post a quote of it and say "THIS" underneath it. But what can I say that Zen has not already penned?

I suppose I ought to give my own spin on it if nothing else. Menewsha is new to me. A very random comment my roommate made spun off into joining this site about a month ago. What I have discovered has been a very kind and loving community of dedicated and sweet users. Sure, many sites have users like this, but usually they are clustered in social groups whereas the vast majority of users have been....a few choice and unsavoury words. Menewsha, however, seems to be almost entirely populated with these sweet sort of people.

I usually lose interest in sites like this not long after having joined. Search for 'jeregretriens' on most sites, you'll likely find a long inactive account. Menewsha however has quickly become an 'online home' to me. Mostly because of the users, but... As the event draws to a close I think Zen is spot on with turning the spotlight back on the staff for a moment here.

It's you guys that keep this place up and running. Sure, you get financial help when people buy CI's, but... You guys are the ones putting your hearts into it. It's that spirit and that soul that makes a site like this hum with activity and pulse with love. I move that we start a 'Menewshan Thanksgiving' sort of thing and we all take a moment to stop and appreciate the staff and modstaff and other such jargon I'm still too much of a newb to rattle off easily.

To all of you involved in making Menewsha beautiful and wonderful....

jeregretriens - thank you! My roommate got me on this site as well. You summed up what is special about Menewsha nicely. I think that everyone here can agree that Menewsha has something special about it that other avatar sites don't have. I'm glad that everyone enjoyed the event as much as I did!

This event was a very creative and enjoyable one. I just wish that I had had more time this week to spend on Menewsha. ^_^

Same here - I had so much work to do this past week that I only was really on during the weekends. I'm just glad that we had two weekends for the event - I think that made a big difference^^

Oh, by the way, does the event store close at the same time as the event? I can't remember how Menewsha usually does that.

yep, it will close when the event ends :)

yes the event store will close down as the event :3 (the items will moved into the shops (I think they will tell you which store the items got moved into) price will be at full price instead of 50% off.. I believe

that is what happened everytime so I assume it is for this event as well
