I'm interested in this... I don't know if I want to play. There is a thread in the event currently going on on Lunaesaga that is hosting a game like this. Except it's werewolves vs. villagers. It's an okay game, but I really don't like how long it lasts. But I think the length only bothered me because we were winning event currency for each round we played... But, why do the nights and days last so long?

They last so long because if I did it by, say, 8 hours then those in another timezone who might be sleeping or at work would not be able to participate. It is set up so that no matter where in the world you are, you can be a part of this.

So what exactly happens during the "night"

During the Night phase of the game, the mafia can PM each other and decide who to nightkill. Also, if there are any other roles such as the doctor or cop, they can PM me their actions. The cop can learn the identity of one person at night. The doctor can protect one person at night. We might have a few other roles. In this thread, only those killed can talk... who are called ghosts.

So the cop can learn who is in the Mafia?

you won't know peoples roles... except the mafia will know each other...
