I totally agree with Scott Lynch. Also Diana Wynne Jones, Terry Pratchett, China Meville, Neil Gaiman. (Why are most of these British?)

My two favs are Dorothy Gilman (Mrs. Pollifax) and Mary Downing Hahn (ghost stories). I recently read Look for Me by Moonlight and it was awesome. Not what I was expecting but I loved it. My favorite Mary Downing Hahn book though would have to be The Old Willis Place Great story.

hmm this is a tough one as i have had many favourite authors.
As a child my fave would of been Jacqueline Wilson (sorry if i spelt her name wrong haha) as i loved all her books and i still have them now lol.
Hmm i read quite a few autobiographys too and my fave autobiography would be peter kays hmm,
And for books now, i love quite a few at the moment i read the twilight books and i liked them but ever since the films have come out i hate twilight now haha so i guess it would have to be a murder author hmm cant think who know :p :')

since i was little i loved romeo and juliet everyday my mom told me a little about romeo and juli (juliet ) and since i loved them :D

Shakespeare stole the tale from Ovid's Metamorphoses. The story of Pyramus and Thisbe is the original. Actually, he stole a lot of things from that collection. Shakespeare was definitely an amazing author though.
