DAY 1

Waking up in a in a ditch isn't fun for anyone, not even a zombie. After getting separated from the survivors group, Jeff arose on the side of the road. Confused on how he got there, he tried to stand up. He glanced down after one unsuccessful attempt and noticed chunks of his legs were missing...."MURGAGAAGG" said Jeff the zombie. What startled him more than raw flesh showing from thighs was his inability to talk. He laid in the ditch, pondering why his legs did not hurt him, even with clear signs of an injury.

After slowing trying to understand his new physique and slower mental capabilities he slowly climbed out of the ditch. Something must of happened to his memory, because he had no idea where he was, and there was no one around to ask for help. With nothing better to do with his life, or lack their of, he started to walk.

After several hours of walking down the road, he saw a person trying to break into a car. Jeff slowly walked his way over to the gentleman to see if he could get some directions. Jeff: "HHAARRAGGHH". The man quickly turned and screamed. Without thinking the man dropped everything and sprinted off into the woods. Jeff was very confused as to why the man would react in such a way.

Sad and alone Jeff continued to walk, and walk. He eventually found an house near the edge of the forest. It was getting dark, and for some reason Jeff thought he needed to use shelter to protect himself from the darkness. Jeff was having a difficult time trying to understand everything that had been going on. He had mixed emotions, different urges now. Food no longer looked appetizing, something about people intrigued him.

Jeff slowly approached the house and noticed the door had been broken. Jeff slowly started to walk up the porch steps, nearing closer and closer to the house. He peered his slightly decaying head into the door to have a look around. 'SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK" Jeff turned and stumbled down the porch steps. Laying on his back he realized it was only just a mouse.

He slowly picked himself up and entered the house. He walked through the house to see if he could fine anyone to talk to, but not even the mouse would give him company.... Jeff was a very sad and lonely zombie....

Jennifer woke up on the inside of an SUV. Blood covered the entire windshield, and multiple people lie dead around her on the seats. The SUV was wedged into a large brown pole of some kind, that connected to other poles.

Even with the blood pooling out of the bodies around her, she felt calm. She felt indifferent about who was around her, but she couldn't spend the rest of her time in the vehicle. She had this desire to move, to wander, to find her place in the world.

At first she panicked, not know how to get out, she started feeling around the car, not knowing what to do next. Eventually her fingers got caught up in the handle and gave her freedom. After she stumbled out, sunlight blinded her. She covered her eyes with her arm, and noticed her clothes were torn, just like the bodies' clothing were. Her right arm was blackened, and her legs had multiple scratches all over them. Jennifer had a feeling something was missing, but she had no idea what it was.

She began walking up the road. Around her was forest as far as she could see. She heard a distant moaning, and went to go investigate. She went down a dirt path, and found another being eating something on the ground. It was such an interesting sight, she felt like she had seen this action before, but it wasn't as beautiful as it was now. Jennifer had a feeling she should be scared, that this sight should make her want to run, but instead she watch, curious. Should I join them?

A loud sound echoed through-out the forest and the being dropped. She cocked her head, confused on what had just happened. Another being, one filled with more life, came running at them. He had no interest in the being he just shot, but instead focused on the other thing on the ground. He was there for quite a while, stroking it's hair. She soon grew bored and began walking back out to the road.

DAY 2

Every day is a new day, and the same was true for Jeff. He arose, from what could be considered sleep. He peered outside of the window and noticed some human-like figures walking through the open meadow. Curious, Jeff left the abandoned house to determine who they were.

Jeff approached the group of travelers. He didn't try talking this time. The last time he tried, he scared off the human he needed help from. The closer he got, the weirder these two legged creatures seemed. They weren't full of life like the last person he saw. The creature in front of the group had his jaw missing. Jeff didn't even try to introduce himself to that. Probably wasn't even that good at holding a conversation either.

The next figure was missing an arm, and the one beside him, seemed to be fully intact. After closer inspection, Jeff noticed some of his intestines were hanging out of his body. Jeff tried to use tone to communicate with these creatures, instead of trying to form words. "RAGGAA???" Jeff said inquisitively. "BRAAIINNNSSSSSS...." Was all he got in return as they walked past him. Puzzled, he slowly turned to follow there movement as they passed him.

"ZOMBIESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

Jeff quickly noticed a few people in the distance, these broken creatures were walking straight for them. These were like the man he saw earlier! 'CRACK-CRACK-CRACK" Probably the loudest sound Jeff had ever heard, coming from these people. Instincts took over and Jeff ran, ran as fast as he could to safety. After reaching the tree line, he turned to see if anyone was following him. Unfortunately the wondering travelers weren't so lucky. They continued to walk towards the loud sounds. Slowly, one by one, they all fell......

Confused, Jeff walked over to a few bushes to hide and collect his thoughts. Replaying the events over and over in his mind. The word "Zombie" was the only thing he could think about. Was that what he was? The word seemed awfully familiar to him, but after waking up in a ditch, he was having a hard time mentally.

Jeff started to compare himself to these other creatures that just saw. All of them had life threatening injuries, but they didn't show any signs of pain. He related to them, he too had large life threatening injuries, that seem to have no effect on him.... "zz-oo-mm-bb--ii-ee" Jeff said, trying to get the muscles to work correctly.

Today was another sad day for Jeff, but at least he found out a little more about the world he was cursed to be apart of.

Jennifer had wondered for so long that she fell asleep standing up, and continued sleep walking. When she regained consciousness, she found herself in front of a large number of buildings. She tried reading the signs for what the buildings were for/named, but she couldn't understand it's writing.

As she continued on, she noticed everything was moving slower, her vision darkened, and her hands began shaking uncontrollably. She needed to eat, but what was there to eat? Jennifer saw a white, yellow, and red stand in front of her, and decided to check out what was inside.

Walking closer, she started inspecting what was on the stand, a glass container holding some interesting shaped object. She broke it open, and found everything inside looked different, but all of it was made out of the same non-chewable substance. She continue remudging around, and found a white box contained wrapped objects. After ripping open their covering, all the objects again looked different from each other, but had the same hard bland taste. She shoved everything over, enraged by the lack of food inside the stand.

Jennifer continued walking, and stepped on a lump on the ground. It looked similar to what the other being had been snacking on before. She got down and inspected it closer, and started feeling around it's clothing. In one of its pockets was a squishy yellow lump. The same wrapping was around it, and after taking it out she began to feed on it. It had no taste, but it seemed like it was edible never-the-less.

After discarding the wrapping, she heard some crashing sounds in the wooden building to the right of her. She decided to go check it out.

Two beings looked to be fighting. One was grey and covered in blood, as well as missing it's lips and finger tips. The other one looked alive and frightened.

What could they be fighting about?

Before too long the grey-ish being overtook the other, and soon after it's life left it. Something changed then. The body of the once living looked so much more colorful, and interesting. The other grey one looked at her, then continued on with it's actions. She came up closer, and decided to give another food a try.

DAY 3

A new day started and Jeff had finally excepted his fate as a zombie. There was no use complaining about it, can't go back now he thought.

An interesting scent crossed his path. This drove him uncontrollably crazy. He had never felt this way before. Unable to control his urge, he followed after the scent. Kept good pace through the woods, climbing over fallen trees, weaving in and out of saplings. The scent was getting stronger, the stronger the scent, the more the urge increased.

In the distance, he heard two voices. As he started charging towards the voices, the urges became too great. The scent, his emotions, this new craze became to great. As he burst through the trees, his mind shut off....

....When Jeff finally got his decaying body in check, he was next to two bodies, covered in blood. His urges settled, and he seemed... satisfied. His mouth was chewing when he first came to. What was he eating? Jeff quickly realized that he had murdered these two poor souls to satisfy his hunger. He decided then and there that he needed to find a way to be able to control his urges... or they might end up killing him.

He got to his feet, he decided that he needed to make a difference. It might not be easy, but he needed to find something else zombies can eat. Determine a way to satisfy his urges. He still had some many questions.... Why had the other zombies only said "brainsss"? Why did they purposefully walk to their deaths? Was the craze to much for them to bear as well? Was there a cure? Even if he was cured.. he had light threatening injuries. He would surely die regardless. Maybe this was the after life, a different plane to the world. So many thoughts and questions rolled through Jeff's mind.

Confused and alone, Jeff continued on. At least now he had a mission, if you want to call it that. He wanted the world to be a better place. Maybe a place where zombies and humans can live together. He needed to find someone else to talk to, to get answers. He had only been dead for 3 days now, he needed more information.

Jennifer finally felt satisfied. Her vision became normal again, and time went at its usual pace, but something else was wrong. She had done something terrible. Maybe she had not ended that person's life, but she sure took advantage of their death.

The grey being was gone, and Jennifer stared off into the distance inside the building. She wondered around, and found herself in a brightly lit room with white everyone, and little furniture inside. She also saw another grey being. This one had long brown hair, it's mouth cocked open to reveal some teeth missing, and a large scar across it's right cheek. It didn't move much, it looked as scared as she was though. Eventually Jennifer ventured closer to the other one, and it did the same. She reached for it, and hit a wall of glass before she could touch it. She touched her face, thinking about what to do next, until she felt the scar on the same side of her face as she saw on the other one.

She came closer to the wall of glass, and stared into the other's eyes. What are you? What am I? Are we twins? She thought about what she looked like. This person behind the glass looked like a monster, exactly like the grey being that killed the living one. She walked out of the white place. She was one, she was a monster. She curled up in a corner of the bathroom, and sat, just starring off into the distance.

DAY 4

Still swirling in his mind were the thoughts from yesterday. He must continue his journey and see if he can make a difference.

Jeff hadn't seen anyone in hours. He continued to wonder through the forest, hoping to eventually come out of the other side. Even some sort of building would be better than just trees. In boredom he let his mind wonder. He tried to remember to the times before he was in the car accident. No matter how hard he tried, nothing came.

Another hour or so passed, it wasn't easy keeping track of time. Jeff was getting tired of being in his head, so he tried to play his hand at talking again. His first word was "zombie", albeit not perfect. "Zoom-bie." This time a little better. "I zommbie." "I mm zombie." "I am a zombie." There we go, that sounds better. He was finally gaining better control of the 100 different muscles it takes to talk. "T-r-e-e." "G-r-e-e-n" "F-r-i-e-n-d." His mood lightened, he wasn't so dumb after all!

Out of the corner his eye he thought he spotted something. He quickly turned, but there was nothing there. Thinking it was nothing, he kept walking. After a few steps, he heard a twig snap roughly near the same location. Again he turned and again he saw nothing. Curious, he decided to check it out. He walked carefully, attempting to be as quite as possible. In the distance he notice a brown door frame, surrounded by green vines, and tall trees on both sides. Astonished as to what he almost missed, he approached the mysterious structure.

He soon noticed an interesting sound. Not sure what it was, he peaked his head inside of the door. To his right was a poor soul that took his own life. Took the cowards way out, the silver revolver laid on the ground in front of his hand. Unsure of how a dead body was making sound, he decided to walk in.

He got closer and inspected the bloody body. This revealed some bite marks on his legs. "rmmrmm" There was the sound again! He looked up and saw a 4 legged creature walking towards him. Startled, Jeff stumbled backwards. Falling to the ground, the creature took this opportunity to strike.

The creature landed straight onto Jeff's chest. Luckily for Jeff he is a zombie, or he would of had the wind knocked out of him. The creature began licking Jeff's face! He licked over and over and over! Jeff was able to settle the creature down enough to sit upright. It was a dog!

This poor animal had a huge chunk of flesh missing from his right shoulder. Jeff patted the dogs head, "Zombie?" Jeff asked. The dog licked his face again. This poor dog was on a leash and couldn't leave the small building he was in. Feeling sorry for the animal, he took the leash off the dog.

Thrilled, the dog sprinted off into the distance. Jeff lowered his head... Another thing that had left him....

"Woof" "Woof" "Woof" As Jeff looked up the dog was running straight at him. The puppy circled under Jeff's feet and started barking. 'Woof" "Woof" "Woof"

Jeff reached down to pet the dog. As he was bending over he re-noticed the corpse in the corner. The bite marks... The dog must have done that...

Jeff decided this was a good enough spot as any to spend the night. He took the corpse and deposited it behind the building. His new companion following him anywhere he went. Jeff laid down in the corner with his new friend.

Every friend needs a name... "What is your name little friend?" Playfully the dog bit Jeff's arm and rolled over to show his belly. Jeff instinctively placed his hand on his belly and rubbed back and forth. "Nibbles... I will call you Nibbles."

Eventually, Jennifer decided to leave the bathroom, and started wondering again. She was lost in thought, the thought of who she was, and what she would do now.

Morning turned into day, and day turned into evening. She wondered on roads, across fields, and even across water. She didn't care where she was going, she just kept going. She let the monster take hold a couple times whenever she became hungry. Sometimes she ate animals, other times she ate whatever other dead beings were eating. She stopped caring. She eventually found herself in a large crowd of others like her. They were all mumbling. They gathered around a fence, outside of a brightly lit area. Lights were everywhere, tall ones, short ones, large ones, and small ones. The lights danced, spun, and jumped from one place to another. She didn't know why she was attracted to such lights, but she was.

Jennifer walked along the line of the fense, and eventually found a large concrete wasteland with lots of white stripes criss-crossing the area. She found herself staring at a sign above. The sign read "Kings Dominion," and it seemed familiar to her. But why?

"WOOF! WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!"

Jeff awoke suddenly! Nibbles was staring him in the eyes as he rose to his feet. Startled he jumped back into the wall.

"o.. whew... its only you nibbles.... You scared me you silly pup!" Nibbles ran through his legs than ran to the door. Jeff followed him curiously. Nibbles turned and stared at him, as if he was looking for an order or something to do. "Well.. I guess we should continue on our way... You are welcoming to follow me if you wish!"

"Woof Woof!"

Just because Jeff now had a friend doesn't mean he could stop his journey. He continued on his way, down the same path he was on before he got distracted.

After roughly an hour of walking, it isn't easy telling time as a zombie who doesn't like to look at the sun. He came across a asphalt road..... He saw a sign with the numbers "95". Cars lined up and down both sides of the road. A few dead bodies were scattered in the grass and on top of cars....

"gggrrrrrrr....." Nibbles was in his fighting stance, staring on the car closest to the forest.... Jeff saw movement in the car. He ducked behind the closest tree, but kept his eyes on the car.

A dead zombie fell face first out of the car door. It got to his feet and continued walking down the road. Wow those things are dumb, Jeff thought...

As he was crossing the road he saw a massive building off into the distance... 'Kings Dominion" I wonder what that is, Jeff thought.

Jeff followed the big arrow sign that said park entrance this way. Jeff loved arrows, they were the best form of navigation! Very little thinking required! Just follow the arrow!

As he follow the road he eventually came to what he guessed was the park entrance.

"Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!" Nibbles began to growl again. Jeff slowly started to walk forward, staying out of direct line of sight from where the sound was coming from.

Jeff peered around the corner and noticed another zombie walking in and out of the metal detector.

"Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!"

Poor zombie is getting distracted by the beeps. Jeff decided to walk closer to say hello. When he got closer he noticed it was a girl zombie. First one he has found! He must talk with her!

"Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!"

"Excuse me miss, you need to stop doing that" Jeff said as he reached out and laid his hand on her shoulder.

The beeping sounds were just so mesmerizing. After she had found the entrance to the lit up compound, she couldn't draw herself away from this entry-way.

Why does it keep making sounds? Is this it's way of saying welcome?

Something held on to her shoulder, and she stopped. This had never happened before. As she turned she saw another dead being. He was moving his mouth, and the living's language was coming out. How can he do something like that?

Jennifer put her hand on his chest and gave him a questionable look.

Then a growling sound was coming from somewhere, at first she looked at her stomach. Sometimes those same sounds were made from her own body. It kept coming from somewhere. She then looked around and found a four legged dead being. Jennifer took a step back and pointed at the dog, grunting.

"Nibbles! Stop that! Be nice to our new friend!" Nibbles, relaxed and walk in between Jeff's legs. He must of felt safe there.

Jeff could tell that she was some what intellectual, she didn't talk, but she noticed the signs of danger. When he talked, she actually made eye contact and put her hand on his chest. He knew that she understood, maybe not fully, but on some level.

Jeff took her hand and led her away from the beeping gate and they sat down together on the bench inside of the park.

"Can - You - Under - Stand - Me?" Jeff first pointed at her, then at himself. Nibbles followed them and laid down at there feet next to the bench.

The bench was rather cold and hard, and Jennifer didn't find it to be very comfortable. But the zombie was doing that thing again, talking in the living language again. She had heard others speaking in it, it seemed like he was trying to get her to listen. There was music playing in the background, and everything he was saying was blending into his words. She started rubbing her head and put it down near her lap. Her head was starting to hurt a little. She had this intense urge to wonder somewhere else, so she got up and started stumbling to the closest covered area.

Jeff curiously followed this new female zombie he met. She intrigued him, she was very unusual. So he decided to observe her for a little bit.

Nibbles kept pace, running through abandoned souvenir shops and hopping into flower beds. He was having a fun time! He reappeared out of one shop with a pretzel in his mouth. He looked like the happiest zombie dog with his new find! He quickly buried it in a nearby flower bed. I guess old habits are hard to break.....

Eventually Jennifer found a domain with comfortable red seats. After the other zombie and it's pet followed her in, she sat down at the furthest booth from the door. Now she could focus. After they sat across from her. She started thumping her hand on the table. She didn't know how else to get her point across that she could listen better now.

"Thump! Thump! Thump!"

The girl zombie kept thumping her hand onto the table. Not a, leave me a lone, or a rawr zombie kind of thump. More of a... now I am ready thump.

Jeff took this opportunity to formally to introduce himself. "Hello, My name is Jeff." "J-E-F-F, what is your name?"

Nibbles hopped into the chair next to the lady and laid his head on her lap. Nibbles seemed to like her, dogs always have a good sense of character.

It was getting easier for Jennifer to talk, which made it pretty exciting! She might be able to express her feelings eventually, once she learned what each of them were called.

"Do... Do-gue" She paused for a couple minutes, then tried again. "Dog" She smiled and jumped up and down slightly in her seat, sending the dog flying out of her lap. She frowned and picked up the dog from the ground, and soon he started licking her face. The dog got a maggot out of her cheek and ate it.

Jennifer pointed at the other zombie and tried talking again, "Jref... Jreff... Jeff. Jeff!" She almost jumped again, but thought better of the dog and decided to slap the table instead.

Wow two words on her first day talking! Amazing!

Jeff was so thrilled he found another intelligent zombie that he slapped the table as well! Nibbles jumped off of her lap, I guess startled from the sound. He turned around and looked at the two zombies curiously.

Jeff didn't want to push talking on her anymore, she had said two words. That was enough for one day, he will let her try and talk on her own. Get used to the new muscles that she hasn't used before. It was time to take a look around this interesting park. On there way to this building there were so many interesting lights and colors, he wanted to check them all out!

"Will you walk with me?" Jeff asked the female zombie. He stretched out his hand, to see if she would grab it and walk with him.

Jennifer was afraid to walk about out into the loud music of the park, but decided to give it a try. She took his hand and started walking with him down the park.

Nibbles followed them playfully, sometimes returning with a stick, and other times returning with a person's arm to play fetch with. Once in a while Jennifer would throw whatever the dog returned with so he could keep playing.

They soon came to a very tall metal structure. It was a tall as the sun. She pointed at the top, "Mmmmrha, mmmra!"

Jeff followed her hand as she pointed into the sky. He looked up and noticed a massive metal structure. He had never see one of these things before.

The girl zombie seemed to be intrigued by this, so he had to impress her. They walked as close as the could get, but everything was blocked off by a fence.... Jeff started to walk the fence line. As he did so, he continued to look at the metal structure he was following. The girl zombie trailed behind, occasionally getting distracted by Nibbles and would have to run to catch up.

After a few minutes of walking, they came to a sign. 'DOMINATOR' was the letters on the sign. A big arrow that was pointing to the sky! "An Arrow!!!" Jeff said excitedly!

"We should go this way! Always follow arrows, they will always lead you in the right direction!" Jeff said to the female zombie.

Just as Jennifer finished walking up the metal steps to the ride, loud shots were fired off in the distance. She slowly turned around to look for the shots, but Jeff pulled her behind the cover of the metal walls.

"Woo! That makes 5 shombies for me Dansiel!" One man yelled, his speech was obviously slerred, and rightfully so with a bottle of Jack Daniels in his hand.

Jennifer couldn't see the group, but she could hear multiple living beings whooping and hollering.

She felt her stomach tighten, and a loud audible growling noise was made. Apart of her wanted to eat, but the loud banging stick was an instant death for her kind, depending on where the hole is made at.

Jeff peered around the wall of the building. He kept one eye on these new loud and dangerous creatures. They didn't seem like they were doing much, just talking, so he checked on his new friend.

"Are you ok?" Jeff asked. The girl zombie looked down at her stomach and patted her belly. Jeff knew of the dangers of getting hungry could cause. He slowly poked his head around the corner and didn't see the men anymore.

"Hey Jack! Come check this out."

Jeff startled, he look behind himself, the direction the voices were coming from. Thankfully he didn't seem anyone. So he decided to take a better look. Nibbles staying loyally behind him, ready to pounce at any moment.

The neared the edge of the building with a giant yellow track going through the middle and glanced over the bottom edge. They were inside of the roller coaster fence. "We were never aloud to go in here whenever the park was actually open. This is kind of cool being under the roller coaster." Said the man that didn't have a bottom of liquor in his hand.

"GURBLEGUURBLLEBBULLL!"

Jeff felt the urges, they had hit him like a ton of bricks. Fight it, he thought, fight it. Jeff startled to thrash around, trying to prevent himself from going to that place again.
