Ah you have a shield though so you must be doing alright.

i'm guessing shield just means you hit a certain number of people... what did you get ribbon from? O:

The shield is an EXP level thing, the ribbons came before the shield in ranking. xD I think you get the sword some time after the shield. I don't know for certain about all the rankings.
