I love pickles, though I am picky about my pickles.

I didn't know there are different types of pickles. I thought they were all sour.

bread and butter pickles are sweet
baby gherkins are sweet

I dunno how I'd like sweet pickles, never had them before. :o All the ones I've had are sour.

gherkins are tiny cucumbers
and they are pickled

So they're both pickles, just a difference in size? :O

well cucumbers are larger and not pickled
the size of the cucumber is smaller for pickles
it think it has to do with smaller seeds inside

just the gherkins are smaller in size
dill pickles are larger
and cucumbers are eaten raw
and unpickled, usually in salads
