In the way back conner of the carnival sits a little black and red tent.

Inside sits a lady, covered in robes, with a small table in front of her. On the table there is a stack of cards. Not just any cards, but tarot.

Here, wee mortals is were one can get their fortune read and see if good or bad. Wether health and luck are in the cards, or death and mis-fortune.

  Acctually, I have a 9 card spread i'm still trying to interpret. It's taking me a while to do. I believe in tarot readings and such seeing as they've been relatively accurate for me in the past. But that's only with the deck which "speaks" to me. The other ones just havn't worked out. :3

I need to get a new deck. Mine was found and given to me. The main problem is one of my cards is ton in half and almost never comes up in any spreads, simply because you already know what it is.

I've always done a very basic 3 card spread, but I need to work on interpting and getting to know my cards better. or I need a set that actually should belong to me.

I've always been a bit more fan of astrology myself.

• Akasha: Ah. Pretty much I select decks by running my hand over them and feeling if there's any heat in my hand or not. It may just be how I think and such creating that sensation seeing as i'm Pagan, but it might not be. I'm going to wait to get a new deck until one by one of my favorite artists comes out. She had a few sample cards at Fanime this last year and I fell in love with them.

Yreka: See I've always been told you have to be given the cards, not you choose the cards. Which I've never understood. but I do need to get a new set. I might try that. though the good place to buy a set went out of bussiness where I live so I have to find a new one.

Lilim: So, what type of fortune reading would you like? Palm or cards?

*Smiles* Plam readings are bad for me... Cause mine makes me look like I should be dead already >< So cards ^_^ Also what kind of stores sell those type of cards cause I have a wiccan shoppie in town. One of the ladies there is really nice...

The one in my town was ran by a crazy older lady who sold bath products, porn, sex toys, hair stuffies, puzzles, cloth, some clothing, art stuffies, and tarot cards. it was an interesting little store. I went there often to buy puzzles, she carried the Josephine Wall ones.

*Looks at Lilim palm and goes over it.* Well with this break here, you had something major happen, but I do see a long life, but filled with much grief, which is why all the breaks are here.

Oh my goth. That store sounds so awesome. I'd love to have my art studio that crazy ^_^

Yeah, i was awesome. i miss her shop. Also because she was nice and helpful. There's other crasy ladies around here who run some interesting places. 2 of the best vintage stores are ran by these neat older ladies. Though one is a real bitch and the other is sooo nice and helpful, and the best place to go for dressing boys in drag!

Depends on the style and artist and what you all want to come with it.
Just for a deck, I've seen run around 5-20 for it.
For the books and everything else to come along ith the deck, I've seen from 20 to 50, and even above 50. Just depends on what you want with it.
