So I just made a bit of a fool of myself by walking across town holding a pumpkin, but it didn't fit in my bag. Anyway... Now that I've got it home, I need to decide what to carve into it. I've never done this before, and neither has the friend I'm doing it with, because Halloween isn't really celebrated here.

Anyway, any ideas on what to carve? I'm tempted to do a baby Yan, but I don't think my friend would get the reference.

Do you carve pumpkins for Halloween?

I haven't carved a pumpkin in years....I think maybe next year I will carve one, just because its always a blast when you do it with the right people. xD

I carved a Dragon Age pumpkin thats pretty sweet

they have stencils they you can trace onto your pumpkin to help you do amazing ones.

I haven't crave pumpkin but I did once for a content and that shit hurt, I will never do it with the tools they gave me. I don't remember what I carve it to be but it's been forever since I carved one. .-.

I don't see why pumpkins should have all the fun, I'm going to carve something else insted. Giving it a creepy face or troll face or something along those lines

It would be interesting to carve a watermelon

There are millions of watermelons a year that are carved....just not always the way you're thinking. Chef's use them as center pieces on buffets alot. :P

Aw I haven't carved a pumpkin in forever! I wanted to this year, but it just didn't happen. Next year, for sure!

Every year my aunt holds a pumpkin carving contest. This year, I was carving my pumpkin into a scene with a cat on a crescent moon and cut my thumb then knocked the pumpkin off the table and it kind of splattered everywhere. I did not get to finish it this year because of that. I tend to do designs that have quite a bit of detail in them. I also hand draw everything and never know what to carve until I'm at the carving party. I just draw something on the pumpkin and carve it out.

Last year I did an awesome pumpkin with Batman and Wonder Woman on it. I wish I would have taken a picture of it because it took me forever to do and turned out awesome.

I carved one with my daughter this weekend. It was really fun. After we baked the pumpkin seeds in oils and salt. The design was 2 wolves in front of the moon.

Last year I carved a cat. I did the head in the front and cut a tail in the back. It was pretty cute. I actually won a pumpkin carving contest on this site for that pumpkin. ^_^
