i started looking at pretty clothing and now i really really wish i had a lot more money. lol. i would just look so awesome in it! and quite frankly, not enough people these days wear outrageously extravagant clothing regularly. i hate jeans and i dont own a pair, and i dont see why everyone wears them all the time and then complains that they dont fit and its so hard to find a pair that do. they claim that they are comfortable while claiming that they dont fit. and bustles and bloomers are comfortable and fit! they are just a might hard to find and fairly expensive. and i suppose they are a little extravagant for regular wear. but thats only because our society has moved on to more causal clothing.

i think i was born in the wrong era...

I would wear corsets and bloomers and things all the damn TIME if I could afford it. <3 My favorite corset at the moment cost about $350.00 and I can't go dropping that kinda money on clothing all the time. My favorite boots were expensive as well...

thats a lot cheaper then mine. but then again... mine is studded and has buckle enclosures. lol. oh or the steampunk hard leather corset that had gears and stuff on it that is $500

but steampunkcouture has striped pants that i want. but they are $90. and i dont have that for pants. but i will. and when i do, im totally buying a pair. the black and brown ones.

I've made some corsets, they aren't that hard to make... it's all the stuff to make them that's the hard part! And expensive part. *oi*

i dont know. i have made corsets and they just arnt as cool as the ones i would like to buy. and the boning that i do does not support me the way the purchased ones do. i need steal boning and thats that. F's are just too hard to work with. lol.

but i did make my own bloomers and they are adorable. im going to make a bustle skirt next with pinstripe ruffles.

im aiming for it to look like this:
