I used to be on roliana like all the time, but now I'm not...
I kinda got bored with it after someone hacked my account and I lost all my old pretty items. ><

I find it quite telling that there's only 2 pages for this site, quite a clear indication of which sites Menewshans prefer I'd say :yes:

I totally agree... Obviously most people don't like roliana.
I kinda still feel an emotional attachment to that site cuz I have a couple hangouts there that are still surprisingly alive even though I'm never there...

Someone seriously has to stop me from going to Roliana. I went there yesterday to pick up the St. Pat's items, which were all jaggedy edged and had no shading, so I left again right away all wth??? and such. So I just went there now to look for something and I clicked on a thread where an admin had posted.

In her sig was pixel art that was similar to an avi, but the design was like, well if they had made a site from that they would make a million dollars. (Okay not a million but you know. They would be successful.) I just do not get it, one bit.

It's possibly because Jelly is hot-linking that Roliana Mr-Mayor-Valentine's-Party rip-off banner thing. If Jennifer was browsing through the thread while Roli was still having problems, that might be why...

But it's always good never to toss your username and password into places just because they pop up. XD; (Not that you'd do that, Jennifer... Just saying.)

Mhm. I was browsing this thread after reading in my giveaway from Jack of all Games that Roli was having issues; that's when it popped up.

I wanted to see if a unicorn would pop out and do a little dance, so I entered my information and nothing happened. :gonk: I'm kidding of course. ;)

i hate roliana, its a total noob site!

I was trying to register to Roliana. I put in my username, email, etc... it said that they would send an activation. I've waited a day or so, but no activation.

So I went back to Roliana. I tried to re-register, but it says my username (Jeannesha) and email area already in use. (duh). I couldn't find where to send an email with a query.

So I looked in their forum...Found the Help thread, and where it said
"If you're having trouble with activation, please post your username here, and we'll activate you". Of course, it doesn't allow you to post without being logged in.
I'm in a chicken and egg situation here.

Can somebody post my username there for me? It's Jeannesha.

I was just curious...I wanted to see what some other sites were like.
I've also tried to join Solia. Same activation problem there too, but at least they showed a place I can send a note to requesting help. (Not that any help has come yet - lol)

They wouldn't be able to. No forum would be stupid enough to allow unregistered people to post. All they'd get if they did would be porn trolls.

Haha actually I know of at least one that does, though they are one of those unprofessional sites we have been talking about. It is extremly annoying because I occasionally forget to sign in and arg.

They're complete idots if they allow that =_=. But yeah as you say...unprofessional. Though to be fair, a lot of it is simply because they're kids and actually just don't know. The trouble is, when you decide to start your own forum, you're making all those big mistakes very publicly and they can end up harming others.

Some might think it's a super-cool idea to allow unregistered people to post (though I can't think why) but when their forum is picked up on the radar of all the advertisers out there they'll soon change their minds :lol:
