Friday, January 3rd

Today, my brother took my parents and I out to breakfast. It meant getting up at 4:30a.m. to pick up my dad from his sleep study, and the weather was bitter cold. (The temperature was negative, even without the wind chill.) It was worth it though. Almost no one was out, so it was quiet in the restaurant, and we had a peaceful meal.

That is always fun I miss going out for dinners.

Saturday, January 4th

Today I played Scion and Airship Pirates, and was part of several very funny discussions. I also obtained inspiration for Lily's next project. Lily is my Toreador character in the vampire LARP I played today, and her art is Computer Animation. The idea is for a program that uses biofeedback and psychology to show the user imagery that relaxes them and cheers them up. I don't know if it will work out to be possible in game, but it's a cool idea.

Sunday, January 5th

One of my friends gave me a ride to church today, like she does most weeks. During the ride to church, we were discussing some issues we were each having, and I quoted Mathew 6:31-33. During the sermon, (which was awesome), the Pastor quoted Mathew 6:33. ("But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.") We both looked at each other and grinned. We must really have needed to hear that.

Monday, January 6th

Today was I was the first one to paint at the ceramic studio's new location. I didn't get a whole lot done, because I was too unfocused, but I did put my hand print up.
