I like to treat my parents on their birthdays and Christmas. They supported me when I was looking for a job teaching and was working fast food...I couldn't afford to pay rent and so they let me live at home for free.

Now that I DO make more money, I like to get them things they will really enjoy even if it's a bit more money <3

Oh man, I really need to tidy the house but I also really want more tokens! Quite the predicament I've got here...

Haha, you don't know what showers are like here. V_V I actually had to get out halfway through my shower and wait for more hot water.

That was me yesterday. I've still got a few things left to do today but not as many. Mostly a lot of ironing and some grocery shopping.

I used to be able to take like 10 minute showers but showering is such a complicated thing since we moved. You have to wait anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes for the water to get to a somewhat acceptable temperature and then every few minutes you have to keep adjusting it because at any moment the water can go scalding or frigid. V_V

Totally agree :3 parents are always there... I try to find something unique and different every time I look for gift or card.. I made pic/video card from old memories when she wasnyoung and when me and my brother was little together

I make a lot of stuff for them - paintings and crafts and stuff <3 those are the best gifts :D

It totally is. It's actually this old fashioned free standing bathtub that was converted to a shower. So we have like three shower curtains to wrap around the entire thing that are held up by this metal ring that is suspended from the ceiling.

LOL that's a lot of shower curtains!! I've never even seen an old fashioned tub/shower up close...that's kind of cool!

Kinda... But more like annoying. ^^; Usually the shower curtains are all trying to suffocate me.

I am! It's because my mum is visiting tomorrow and I have to make the house look nice so she doesn't act all grossed out lol.
