I'm sorry, but I can't see spending $15-20 on ONE evolving item - that's just ridiculous to me lol
Especially when you have to have multiples in order to wear more than one form at once :P
It's kinda their own fault if they put a fortune into the site lol

I'm listening to a rainstorm go on while it's sunny out and it's making me nervous -- it's getting bad and I'm afraid we're going to lose power :(

Other than that - I'm about ready to look up more recipes that involve chicken because I made Chicken Rolls last night and my brother is just in love with them haha
Now, this kid never tries ANYTHING new and will NEVER sit down at the table and eat with us - last night was the first night in a really long time that he did both haha

I can't see paying more then $5 here and there on a avatar site. A few years back, I was getting the monthly collectibles on Gaia. I got about half of them that one year and I think one other mc sometime before that. Even though I liked the items I still felt a little silly getting them. As cool as the EI typically are, trying to get all of those would be too much. There are of course people that don't mind putting aside money for that kind of stuff.
Getting hacked sucks, even if I didn't dump any real money into the site. But rather it be a silly site then something like my email or facebook.

When Gaia cash was relatively new I thought I'd buy some instead of monthly items but it didn't last very long so I can see why people get sucked into buying more.

Oh I've seen plenty of people still using scripts in towns, though Gaia hasn't really changed that since I joined to be honest. All the work's gone into flashy shiny things like the Aquariums and zOMG of course.
