Current Story

This post holds the current story. This is an ongoing RP, so the storyline will change due to the RPers' will. Here I will post the major events that happen, as well as minor events that I think should be noted. This is so new members will know where most of the RPers are at in the story. And also for current RPers who missed a few pages and doesn't want to read all those posts.

Current
• Planet Earth has realized the details of the war between the two Arms. They are far more advanced and the GL decided to release top secret information and technology to the public. Lots of new unbelievable information that has been kept secret is now out in the open.
-Firstly, Wizardry is real. Throughout the centuries, many cultures have believed Magic to be real, but it was never acknowledged publicly by science. The army is now training people to be Wizards. There are 2 types of Wizards, Elementalists and Alchemists. Elementalists can control the forces of nature and science through spells and mana. Alchemists can control matter and mass through equivalent exchange through ingredients and Alchemy circles.
-Secondly, countries all over the world have found dozens of UFO crashes and excavated the scraps. Through international study at Area 51, scientists were able to discover new laws, minerals, and forces through these alien objects. With this technology, scientists are rushing blueprints to engineers to create similar alien aircrafts to fight against the Crux and Sagi. Other findings resulted in advance armor and weapons for soldiers.
-Thirdly, the most shocking information released is that there were aliens living on Earth. An easy term to call them is Atlantians. Somehow the leak of the lost City of Atlantis got out and the government tried to desperately conceal it. It is true. The real story is that the city was just like any other city at one point. But an alien crashed onto the city. The alien had amnesia and could not remember where he was from, thus we don't know if he's a Crux or a Sagi. But he reproduced with our women and created intelligent alien human breeds. People from other cities were afraid of their appearance and strange technology, that they would attack the city calling them freaks. They couldn't take it anymore, so they "sunk" the city. In reality, it went underground into a cave whose only entrance and exit is an ocean tunnel. You can also call them Mermaids, as they had no oxygen, they adapted to breathing water. They are a big part of our technology we have for the soldiers right now. They will also aid as scientists. They are actually weaker than most humans, so it's better to use their brains instead of their brawns.

Plot Summary

"The time is December 25, 2007. Many people are gathering around an indoor tree, sharing presents and hot drinks. And many elsewhere are starving or freezing. The Earth is a strange planet. The people of this planet, us, are divided and not united. There are clear divisions in countries and race. Even though we are of the same origin and species... One must ask "Why do they fight each other, when they should be helping each other?". But today, is the day, that we will be united! This is for the sake of our survival, our children, and the hard work that we have put into this planet for so many long centuries. The leaders of every country has come together and made compromise. We are not fighting for our country, but for our planet. Everybody, for the sake of you and for the sake of us, please forget your prejudices! We must work together! On December 25, 2007, the Orion Arm was invaded. The Earthen Solar System is located in the Orion Arm, a minor spiral arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. It seems that long before we were created, before Earth was created, there was life on other planets. These alien species were far more advanced than we are, and that was in the ancient days. There was a war between the Crux Arm, and the Sagittarius Arm. Unlike our Arm, their's contain many inhabited planets. Of course, there were many different species on each planet, as is ours, but they were all united. Race against race, country against country, planet against planet; they were all united. The only one they seemed to have brought prejudiced to is their neighboring Arm. The two would just not get along. And so one day, they declared war on each other, each Arm being very confident.

The war lasted for many years, and is still going on. There seemed to have been a trend of occupying planets to show their strength. And so, the two intergalactic armies started capturing many uninhabited planets until they were down to one. Us. To their surprise, our planet had life. And so they agreed that with one last fight over our planet, it would end the war and victor would take control over the loser's Arm.

But who said we agreed to that? It is Earth's turn to show them what we're made of, but will we come victor?

Position in War:
We are right in the crossfire between the war of the Crux and the Sagi. They think of us as little ants in the way of something bigger. But we will show them, we are no ants!
Races:
Human; The basic race that holds the fate of Earth's survival.
• Civilian; These are the people who do not have any military profession, as in they're not helping. They are temporarily useless. Your main character cannot be a civilian.
• Soldier; The soldiers may look a little medieval, but they are highly advanced. Many have been recruited and drafted into the army. They are the sole defense for Earth. Earth's Global Army (EGA) has ranks like any other army, but these ranks are carried out a bit different. There are basically only two broad types, In-Field, and Out-Field. Instead of Lieutenants and Captains carrying out orders on the field, there are radios in the soldier's ear with a microphone that link back to a military base. Here, there are Out-Field people who are monitoring the status of the battle through radar, GPS, and satellite imaging. Your main character cannot be an Out-Field Soldier. Your main character can be an In-Field Soldier.
• Scientist; There are less human scientists than Atlantian scientists, for most able humans are sent off to war. They're the one researching with alien technology to create new weapons and vehicles. Your character can be a Scientist.
• Elementalist; Elementalists are wizards who can control and manipulate the forces of science and nature through spells, incantations, and mana. Supposedly, mana flows through every human body. It is a close neighbor to what one might call the soul. Elementalists can control this mana and manipulate it to do amazing things that science cannot fully explain. They can create fireballs, lift boulders, create tornadoes, and many other things. Your character can be an Elementalist.
• Alchemist; Alchemists are wizards who can control and manipulate matter and mass through equivalent exchange by ingredients and Alchemy circles. This has a more scientific view, but still cannot be fully explained. With just chalk, Alchemists can draw Alchemy circles on object and change their shape, size, texture, and matter. Rock into water, metal into wood, pebbles into boulders. Advanced Alchemists can also create Chimeras and Abominations. Your character can be an Alchemist.
• Beastmaster; There are few human Beastmasters, most of them are Atlantians. Beastmasters have the skill to communicate with animals and tame them. Beastmasters, under the law, cannot abuse the animals. The animals themselves are not hypnotized either, so they also have a say in the actions of the Beastmaster. Your character can be a Beastmaster.

Atlantians; These beings have crashed onto Earth long ago and we have been living side by side with them unknowingly. They are very smart, but not as strong as the average human. They have advanced technology and are proving very helpful in the war.
• Civilian; These are the people who do not have any military profession, as in they're not helping. They are temporarily useless. Your main character cannot be a civilian.
• Mermaid; These are basically underwater soldiers. Humans can take the land, air, and surface of water, but not deep underwater. There are few Mermaids for these are a select group of strong Atlantians. So instead of waiting for the enemy and getting outnumbered, Mermaids spend most of their time setting up traps and bombs. Your character can be a Mermaid.
• Scientist; There are more Atlantian scientists than human scientists, for most able humans are sent off to war. They're the one researching with alien technology to create new weapons and vehicles. Your character can be a Scientist.
• Elementalist; Elementalists are wizards who can control and manipulate the forces of science and nature through spells, incantations, and mana. Supposedly, mana flows through every human body. Technology:
• Basic Soldier Armor; The armor is made of a strange alien metal that's 50 times harder than diamond. To manufacture this metal, scientists figure out that it has a weird reaction to intense heat. In intense heat, it doesn't melt, but it stretches. Scientists can stretch this metal all they want, giving them an unlimited supply. And also when it is not cooled, it is softer and easier to cut.
• Basic Soldier Weapon; Current guns are not effective against the aliens, for they too are in this type of armor. Explosives and heavy weapons work better, but are too heavy for most soldiers. So, with the help of the Atlantians, soldiers carry a sword that is made of the same material as their armor. They each possess a Magic Crystal that the Atlantians synthesize. There are many varieties of this crystal, ranging from fireballs being shot out of it, to lightning shock on contact. The military does not have time to test them and see which attribute is the most effective, but this is the best they have to do with right now.
