I am eating fast food. I needed food badly. I ate at like 7:30 this morning. Then throughout the day I have have two chocolate chip cookies, and then stuffed a cinnamon apple chip in my mouth here and there while at work. I was busy today so I didn't get to just sit down and actually eat something (that I brought to snack on). So...basically twelve hours later...FOOD!

I've been in my room writing essays all day
it's getting pretty late though, I should really go look into this > o>

i thinking of microwaving something quick for dinner. or heading to the cafeteria.

Well, I don't know what timezone you are in, but it is almost 7:30pm here. So it is late. Looking into getting yourself some food. :)

it's only 5:30 here. I can eat when I want...as long as it's before 6:30 because that's when the caf closes for some reason.

6:30 seems odd for it to close. It should stay open till 7!

actually, it may close before that. I'm not sure anymore. The food times are very small windows.

That's lame. That's kinda like our my campus did mail...as in packages...not just mail that fit into people's boxes. There was one hour in the morning to get it and one hour in the afternoon. We had people leave class just to get their mail.

that's even more redic, Ter! I thought it was bad that our post office is only open from 9-2pm 4 days a week. Many people have class from that time.

Well..you can get normal mail regular hours (9-5). But packages, nope. I think it is because the regular mail, you have a key to your box. Whereas packages don't fit in the box.

you guys are making me really happy that I live at home and attend a state college that is really close by @__@;;

I never lived on campus. So I didn't have to deal with any of that. :D I went to a public community college then transfered to a private college in the next city over. So I commuted from home to both places.

at least you have keys. our boxes are weird and have combo locks. They didn't tell us our box number at the start of the year this time either. I wrote my combo down later when I found it out, but I didn't write down the box number with it. ^^;;;

I've lived on campus for four and a half years. It's not bad. It was really good at the school I was at before. The living that is. Everything else....so depressing. I like art school, but this place is underfunded and there's not people to work to keep things running for longer hours and few people do live on campus.

My sister went to a university in the center of the state and had to stay on campus.
I guess she had a lot of problems with mail and stuff there, not just in terms of when she was able to pick it up, but in that sometimes she just straight up wouldn't receive a package sometimes . @__@

Living on campus seems kind of intimidating too. With the housing costs and everything. @___@

well so is getting an apartment. Living anywhere is expensive.

I guess if you get an apartment though you can at least split the cost between a few different roommates? where as college dorm costs only apply to one person, and it's not like everyone can kind of chip in to cover the costs, because you're all paying the same thing, and it's (from my sister's experience at least) really unreasonable.

I'd have to ask her how much it costs to stay at her college for one semester, but it was thousands of dollars at least. And that wasn't even for the entire year; as I mentioned, it was per semester. All I know is that her student debt from campus alone is ridiculous.

If I got an apartment, I would live by myself. If you're in a new city going to school, how should you have friends to split a place with anyway?

Cost never made an impact on me. I don't even apply for student aid because they won't give me anything. I am too obviously not in need of help. XD

xD Well, my sister went to college with a lot of her friends from highschool. She roomed with her best friend from highschool all throughout her college years. Besides, while you're on campus for your first semester or two couldn't you meet people and end up rooming with them in an apartment close to campus anyway? o 3o ahaha like I said, I stay at home and attend a college that's really close by so while I haven't had to think about this a lot, but depending on your circumstances it could still be a possibility.
