For the past couple of years, I have participated in the 50 Book Challenge. Recently there was a proposal for a 50 skein challenge for those who knit or crochet.
Have no fear though. This challenge is for all manners of crafts and to all levels of expertise. So whether you are new to making crafts or have been doing it for years, if you knit, crochet, draw, make jewelry or any other type of craft, this challenge is for you:
A year to make 25 crafts.
You can choose when the year begins and ends. It does not have to follow the calendar year (from January 1st to December 31st) Merely a twelve month period. You can also choose the number of crafts (I know that some take longer than others). Aim for 10, 30, or even 50, whatever goal that you want it to be.
As Knerd put it
Quote:
The whole point of the challenge is motivation. Just set a goal for yourself ...
With that being said, let the crafting begin!

I'm considering joining. I'm a bit busy but I'm halfway through my second finger-less glove for a mismatched set I'm making in peacock blue. But I've been really busy. I'm trying to think of what I've made this year though... hm.
I craft a lot of different things too. Especially when learning about my culture. I'm not sure if I'd include them or not.
I wish I took a picture of the earrings that I made fairly recently to post on here. Oh well, at least the person liked them.
lol, I've got four projects going at once. One is just about finished: got a leg to do, then put the features on it (eyes nose mouth). Hopefully I can remember to post the picture when I'm done, or maybe I'll just wait until I finish all of them, then post a picture of all.
Okay, I'm back! Here's my list! I'm afraid I have some boring "I actually kind of need this" sewing type projects to get out of the way first, but maybe I'll get clever with them and make something nifty. :)
~ Belly's 25 Craft Challenge List ~ started 4/21/2013
Currently working on
Crocheted block quilt for my part of the Ground Cover Project. 21/28 panels done!
Jo's Crochet Flower Garland +curtain
Update: I'm holding these to sew onto a simple Ikea curtain for my "creative corner" of my house. My kitty is WAY TOO INTERESTED in the garland. I have the curtain, just need to cut & sew it to length, attach the lovelies (& mount the rod).
Some kind of crocheted produce bag. Trying this one: Oh the Cuteness!: Crocheted Produce Bag
Update: used rainbow variegated yarn, just need to do the top. Got interrupted by the quilt.
Finished Projects
Crocheted owls for handmade gift exchange (2 stuffed lil guys & 1 stuffed keychain)
Crocheted owls for bday gift (2 lil stuffed guys)
I need to update this with more pics!
Owls!X
Want to make soon
Curtain for odd window next to front door so weird solicitor dudes stop looking inside my house
Curtains for breakfast nook because it's getting freaking hot already and I want to hide from the sun
Curtain for glass door leading to sun room MUST BLOCK OUT BURNING LIGHT
Some Warhammer 40K terrain including a Tardis half-covered in rubble so I can say, "the Dark Angels have the phone box"
Some sort of holiday gift for the grandmas since I never seem to finish in time when I start in fall like a sane person would
I have finished the challenge & exceeded the "25 thingers" count. I've failed to document/photograph everything because I got pretty darn busy, but highlights include:
When finished, it should look something like this:
I'm mostly making it as a decoration to dress up my craft area a bit, but also testing it out for potential gifting. (How cute would that be in a child's room? )
