Hello all.

A hobby I would really like to get into for 2014 is scrapbooking/art journalling.

This site's page explains what scrapbooking is.

(To be honest, I don't mind the old-fashioned, "ordinary" sugar paper scrap books; my mum has one and keeps newspaper clippings on the Royal family in it, because she is Filipino and is interested in them. :))

This Tumblr shows some very nice art journal pages.

I would like to make something that is a mix of both. I have a lot of materials and a nice, good quailty gsm paper journal. My only problem is that it is only 40 pages.

I was thinking of taking the paper out (it is just stapled), creating the pages, possibly buying another booklet to take out the paper and use them too, and then bind the whole book myself when I am done. Whenever that will be. XD

As you can see, I am just thinking of ideas and ways to go about this, still! It's all very exciting for me. :D

Does anybody here keep a scrapbook or art journal? If so, perhaps you could share some tips for an interested newbie!
