I remember Steinbeck..of mice and men, the red pony,...perhaps another book. I saw the movie for of mice and men too. English requirements, mice and men was good.

I've never read his books, but he's very popular where I live.

I think Of Mice and Men was the ONLY book I could read.
I did finish Grapes of Wrath but it was a struggle.
I couldn't even make it past forty pages in East of Eden. xD
I think I read several other of his shorter books, once. And those aren't horrible.
But man, the long ones are like being continuously submerged into a lake of boredom.
