IT doubles the amount you get for each post. so instead of .25 seeds you get .5 and all that jazz.

But where do you get them?

I know the seeds and credits get you items but i don't know what the others do.

Down at the bottom of your screen you see a bar. Click on the one that says Gasket HQ or Sprocket HQ. Then you will see links in the little pop up window. Click the one that says build.
