A 3 leaf clover = normal. A 4 leaf clover = lucky. A 5 leaf clover is an entirely different situation. It is, in fact, an omen signifying the beginning of the "leprechaun apocalypse". No one knows for sure what will happen during the event, but there are 2 common theories as to what will occur after.
1) The outcome will be lucky. The leprechauns will come out of hiding and will interact openly with the human population. Rainbows will be abundant and, due to the fact that pot's of gold are usually found in the vicinity, gold will also be abundant and poverty will be scarce. Green will be known as the colour of fortune and for this reason every person will wear atleast one item of green.
2) The outcome will be unlucky. The leprechauns will attempt to take over the world resulting in the greatest war in human history. The humans will take up arms against the leprechauns, but will suffer great losses as the leprechauns will have created sophisticated, solid gold weaponry that makes use of the power of rainbows. Red will be the most abundant colour.

So my first instinct would be to wish for more wishes, but that's kinda cheating and takes away from the charm. So, damn! I dunno
Okay, I'd wish for... the chance to visit the leprechaun's home whenever I want. 'Cause, where he lived, there would probably be other fantastical beings like faeries and sylph and gnomes and undines and salamanders etc.
So, I'd get to have odd conversations the fair folk, maybe learn a few secrets, get some new friends and find out if Oberon and Titania are really the King and Queen or it was just something that William made up. I wouldn't eat anything, though. Everyone knows you should never eat anything there, otherwise you wouldn't be able to leave
Anyway, that's what I'd wish for... and I wouldn't tell anyone about it so that I could have a super special secret

A five leaf clover is extremely bad luck. If you are unfortunate enough to find one & pick it then a leprechaun dies. His ghost will come back & haunt you until you find a 6 leaf clover to give to him.

... Are there such things as five and six leaf clovers? xD

I caught the leprechaun and he offers me a wish in place of his pot of gold which he lost. what do I wish for?
Might as well be really greedy & wish for all the other pots of gold that the other leprechauns have with no detrimental effects, such as them coming to hunt me down for taking their pot of gold.
