Perspective.
It's a big thing when you're working with squared objects. The box item's perspective is entirely off therefore it messes with the dimensionality of the box. I would try to angle the bottom contour of the box's right side a bit steeper than what it currently is. If you continued each line that goes back, they should meet in one spot, but they currently aren't doing that.
As for shading...it's more of an issue on the paper bag than the box. I mean, a box is a box. But paper bags have additional creases in them that make for more shading that can be distinguished by a line.
