What are your goals on Menewsha? Tell me!

For now, mine are just saving up gold and trying to make at least one new topic a day, so people have new things to respond to. I also want to post as much as possible.
Hopefully I'll have some concrete goals for my gold soon, but I still haven't really had a chance to see what items I might want to spend it on.

Mine is to acquire all the CIs and EIs I missed during my three-year hiatus! And after that be able to collect all the super rare items that I like such as the Pot of Gold, etc. There's a lot, but hopefully I'll keep on making progress. :)

Nice! Sounds like a big goal but if you keep chipping away at it you'll get there. 😊

I'll have to go look up Pot of Gold since I have no idea what that is. xD

I remember them selling for over 200k back in the day...all of my 'long term quest items' cost over 100k each so it's going to take a while.

Ooof, yeah, I guess it will take a while. You've got the added challenge of there not being as much activity, too. 😕

I used to have some sort of grand goal about owning every item, but I realized I didn't really want them all and it was impossible anyway. Though I would like to get the oriental fan still, as impossible as that goal is.
Then I had goals about keeping alive the rp forum and encouraging its growth, but I kinda fell out of the habit of rping. I'm not sure what sort of goals I have currently. Might go back to being the rp forum fairy of life.

Oooh, being the rp forum fairy of life is a good goal! I looked through my posts and saw I'd joined one RP on here but I only made like three posts. 😬 If I wasn't so bad at keeping up with it I'd offer to try and help. Well, maybe I can anyway, if you need a little more activity there.

Yeah, it's pretty much a pipe dream with the state of the site currently, but oh well, it's something that keeps me going.

Yeah, the one I joined only got to like six pages or something, lol. Oops.

Most of the ones I were in only got to around two or three pages.

The rest I'm sometimes left in the dust because I'm usually online when others are not and vice versa so I end up missing a lot.

I think the problem is how some only post intermittently while others post a lot, so it made the whole thing unbalanced and people just stopped posting after a while. :(

Even years ago, group rps never did well here. I run them from time to time though. One×Ones work out a lot better. I was able to revive a few of mine after my hiatus and there are a few other players still around.

Yeah, group rps rarely last past five or so pages in my experience. D:

I don't have much experience with 1 x 1 rps, never really figured out how they worked. ^^;;

I only ever participated in like....two group rps at their height. Still, it's nice to try every now and again.

I find them a lot less messy compared to keeping multiple people on the same page and posting evenly and such.

Yeah, now that I think about it, group RPs are probably wayyyy harder to manage than one on ones.

I think I did a one on one RP on Roli but I don't really remember. I kind of want to hunt through my posts on there now.

Is Roli still an active site? I thought that was one of the ones that's gone under recently.

It's closing in July. 😭 At least there was advance warning, but it just feels like the owners gave up on it and I hate that. ☹️

I think it's winding down? They're not planning on renewing their server once it's up so it'll be gone this July I think from what I gathered in their Announcement.

Makes me glad I never joined that one then! Most of the ones I have are already gone after all.

Yeah, winding down is probably a better way of putting it. I'm devastated. 😭 I hate that all the old, small avi sites are going away.
But all these factors brought me here and I'm enjoying myself very much, so I suppose there's a silver lining.

Re.color is still around, though I've already forgotten my username and password there.

Solia is too, but they're all weird now. I used to kind of like it there though.

I dunno, they're trying out a new...version of it? I just popped on yesterday and it's in beta still, I think. But also you need to make an account with another service and you have to use, like Facebook or Google+ to sign up and I just didn't really want to do that. It looks like it's still going strong but they're making some changes, probably to keep and increase their userbase.
