With the exchange, it's to reduce spam, you're only allowed to have one exchange thread. If you lose your thread, you can PM a mod and they'll find it for you. (They keep track of them).

And I know a friends list is in the works, but I'm not sure about profile comments...

And if you want to chatter with people, Mene Nations (In the general discussion forum) is usually a good place.

Actually, I don't spend time in either of those forums, you'd have to PM a mod and ask, but I imagine it would be preferred.

And a side note on exchange threads/quest threads, if you open one by yourself, and then later decide to make a group thread, you just have to ask a mod to lock the old thread for you, and you're good to go. ^^
