actually "whisper of the heart" and "the cat returns" aren't miyazaki films..... people get it mixed up because their both produced by studio ghibli like miyazaki films.

Yeah now that you mention it, I remember that *shot* I just group them together in my head under 'Studio Ghibli' but refer to them all under 'Miyazaki' xD

yea some of Sora's friends do that too! then there are Sora's animation major friends and they love to remind him its wrong XDD

I've seen pretty much every one of Miyazaki's films. Kiki's Delivery Service was my first which I got on VHS. I saw most of the other ones on TV when there was a month-long Miyazaki special that played most of them. I missed Pom Poko and Porco Rosso though. I saw Ponyo in a theater in Paris before it came out in the US and now own it on DVD. I liked every one of them except Tales of Earthsea which wasn't really done by him anyway. >.< Howl's Moving Castle is probably my favorite but it's hard to chose because they're all so good.
