Hm, I can't remember who my favorite character was. Might've been Kurama, though it was more like a "the others are more 'meh' than he is so I guess I'll choose him as my favorite" sort of a 'favorite character'. :sweat: It's been too long since I last read the series. Would've been a lot more into Hunter x Hunter had the mangaka not run off for years on end every few months of updates. It's so annoying and irresponsible.

Yes I do own this on VHS, I am a fan of hiei myself.. just love his attitude overall.

Togashi-Sama has been having major back problems so I hear.
He can make about one page of HxH before his back hurts to baddly to do more.

There was also a scare a while ago, he became really sick and everyone was afraid he was going to die. ; n;

I also like Yuske I notice he has fewer fans even though he is the main character..lol

Of the 4, I like Yusuke the least. Which I find really odd.

Oh. I had not known that he was having health issues. In that case, it's understandable why he's not been updating then. :?

This is my favorite anime of all time,
I grew up watching Yu yu hakusho,
my favorite characters are Kurama, Hiei, and I love most of the villians XD

I watched the dub when it was on toonami and read the manga.
I do prefer the manga over the anime.

As for fights, it was not tournament, but I enjoyed the fights between those 4 men.
Suzaku, Shiryu, Byakko, and Genbu.

I don't think there's a lot of people out there who enjoyed the Four Gods arc the most out of the series. The jokes were great during it but I can't say it contained my favorite fights in the series. But Kuwabara probably had the best fight in the way of comedy for that arc.

I want to say the arc just after the Dark Tournament ends is my favorite.

I haven't read the manga. Saw (and have. :P) the anime.

Dark tournament and Chapter Black are my favorite arcs.

Like the anime for the fights and I like the manga's ending better. > u>
I also like the dub more then sub but I have to say both are really good.
Made me a HUGE fan of Funimation.


I don't like the first few arcs myself and it only starts to get good around the point Yukina pops in.
It could be that YYH is just a slow burner. ; p

:D Ah! I love YYH! I've even watched the whole anime and read all the manga for it. I thought it was just kinda slow at first, but it got very good quickly.

Plus it was the second anime I ever watched (yugioh was first). I still love it to this day.

The Dark Tournament arc was definately my favorite.

I loved the Sensui Arc
