me and snow are bad mixy things, i have no sense of balance and the snwo and ice up ehre tends to come down ahrd, so i end up slipping and sliddign and scared of breakign bones, not to mention bruised. and with no winter coat..yeah its no fun.

It's pretty good. It doesn't hurt though that they have a really good cast, and very good dynamics between characters.
I know the series is a bit different from the books but honestly the books are kindof shit to read. xD I'm sure there's more neat lore buried in them, but the show has done a pretty good job on its own.

yea definitely! i have read the first one a while ago and started the second one, but i needed to swap out for something... lighter since that is a pretty heavy book. i actually don't mind if shows or movies stray from the books, it's like they are making it their own and i won't guess everything that's happening. i felt like that about true blood as i read all of the sookie stackhouse books and they are VASTLY different, like oh my god different. but i didn't mind because it was like the same characters in a different universe. just a new spin on some good characters i already liked

ah yes! i didn't think of it like that, but it's true! they are just fanfic adaptations!
i have the old lupin movie and saw some of a show from way back. i didn't know they were redoing it!
