Clock started goofing around with pixels,
it started out with this silly tiny badges:









and then Clock started messing around with a Mene base:



and since Clock probably wont stick to just Mene based pixels,
Clock hopes this is the right forum to post in and show things.

the hats aren't shaded yet,
the clothes just slightly changed,
and of course colour change,
from a few of Menes choices.

scratch that,
Clock needs to re-due all of Fionna.

her ears on her hat need to be longer,
her bangs need be longer,
and a skirt instead of shorts.

not much pixeling happened today,
just did part of the skirt for Fionna.
the left side of the skirt needs work.

I tried pixelling a staff a few weeks ago, but if failed horribly. So I just smushed together a bunch of skulls from an already existing item to make a crude staff-thingy. xDD

The black line on the hats is too harsh. Mene items don't have harsh lines, but the concept btw is adorable.

hmm, Clock will take out the black and see if that helps.
Clock is struggling with the white, to make it shaded and look 3 dimensional.

When in doubt look at items that already exist.

alright, so.


it looks a little better now, to Clock anyways,
also, Clock brought in the bottom a bit,
and made it wrap around the face tighter.

Finn's hat didn't work out as well as Fionna's.
Clocks sees a few spots now that need fixed up.
but Clock feels this is at least a step better than before.

I think Fin really just needs more shading.

In either case I want to say yes.

The hat is basically a ball. Put a ball under a lightsource and go from there.

I'm not the best pixeler in the world, but I know lots about light source

I had an art teacher who drilled it into our heads.

Clock missed the basic techniques in art class,
so Clock struggles with the simple stuff like, light source.
