Just finished the book Seven Up by Janet Evanovich. I like her books very much. Very few of my authors are alive or write anymore so I'm just reading what is in my book collection.

Just finished Towers Of Midnight, By Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. Simply put. It. Was. Amazing!!!!!! Only one book left to finish the series, and Brandon is doing a dam good job! If you haven't heard of The Wheel of Time, I strongly suggest it. A Memory of Light (the last book in the series) is at this point due out around this time next year, so start reading!

I just finished Shanghai Girls by Lisa See. It was AMAZING I loved it! I highly suggest it too anyone who wants to read an unusual "Immigration to America" type book. I LOVE Lisa See's books (though that was the second one I've ever read) but main characters tend to become unlikable near the end....

I just finished "The Adoration of Jenna Fox"...it really sheds light on the future of biomedical ethics and engineering and how far into artificial bodies/organs is "too far". I didn't really like the ending though but oh well :)

I admire anyone who can get through the WoT series. It's intimidating many books. I've read 2 >.<

Latest book I read was "Nightwood" by Djuna Barnes, it was amazing. I like that kind of books.[COLOR="Silver"]

I just finished "Good Knight" from the Tales of the Dark Forest" series by Steve Barlow and Steve Skidmore (I dunno if I spelt his last name right or not) and I loved it! It put a completely new twist on some of the classic fairytales like Little Red Riding Hood and I loved the wit that was in it liek Humphrey the Boggart (dunno of I spelt his name right or not either) He was one of my favourite characters along with Roze and the Rune Master!

I just finished the last book in the Vampire Academy series - Last Sacrifice - by richelle mead

I think compared to the rest of the series it had a lot more action to it and it completely threw me for a loop when Rose called out who the murderer was. Though I feel so bad for Adrian and I'm kind of mad that we don't get to see what happens with that. :(

I just finished the last book of "The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod" by Heather Brewer and it was awesome! I didn't expect the ending to end that way but it was better than I thought it would.

I just finished "Beastly" by Alex Flinn and it was pretty interesting. A different version of Beauty and the Beast set in New York City. Even though the ending was very predictable, I still like it. :)

I've only read three, but I intend to get around to the rest later...

I just finished Eldest by Christopher Paolini... I had forgotten how much I liked that series, but now I remember, and all elves should be vegetarians...

I just recent finished Ethnic Groups and Boundaries edited by Fredrik Barth. As I am really fond of his conception of ethnicity, it was quite an enjoyable read. The contributors to the book also presented an interesting variety. Many of the cultures studied were new to me.

UFO In Her Eyes, by Xiaolu Guo. Weird, but good. About the development of a town in China, and written all as police reports.

I just finished Great Expectations by Charles Dickens for English class, and I loved it! Probably one of the only books that I have read in English that I liked.

I just finished the first Midnighter's novel by Scott Westerfeld.
I love most of his other work, but I found this one mediocre at best. I might get the other books, but probably more likely to read them at the library or if I was borrowing them from a friend.

I think that the last book that I finished is Beauty's Punishment by A.N. Roquelaure (Anne Rice). I also finished reading Sabriel by Garth Nix around the same time. I read multiple books at once. Beauty's Punishment was a little traumatizing, but I couldn't put it down. Sabriel was amazing. I loved that book. It never bored me.

I'm currently reading:

:yumeh1: The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri
:yumeh1: Club Vampyre by Laurell K. Hamilton
:yumeh1: Beauty's Release by A.N. Roquelaure
:yumeh1: Lirael by Garth Nix

Just finished 'Magic's pawn' by Mercedes Lackey ... and soon I'll go one to Magics Promise, and Magic's Price.

I love that trilogy. So sad and so happy all at the same time. I admit that I cry whenever I read it.
