Forcing herself to admit she acted the fool, Larissa stood up and slowly made her way across campus. She should know better than to let her personal feelings for others affect her like that. She grimaced at the memory. So silly. And headed towards the dorm. She would study like a good student and continue to get good grades like a good student. That was all she could do at this point. That was all that the school and her parents required of her right now. Her parents would do anything for her to continue to have good grades. Perhaps she should give them a call?

Reaching the dorm, she headed up to her room. Nothing like a good self motivating speech to get her spirits boosted up. She hadn't really run away. She had simply gone for a run. Exercise was good for the brain. Helped her study. Nothing was wrong with life. She didn't have friends or see Terry anymore because she was always studying. That was what was up. She would just keep telling herself these things.

Back in the library, Terry finished reading the book he had been looking at. Rising, he strolled over to the bookshelf and replaced the book. Glancing off to the side, he saw two boys. One staying and one leaving. New students. He didn't recognize them. Definitely new students. They were not perfects then. He shrugged. If they were worth his time, either they would possess strong skills or they would become perfects. Until either of those proved to be the case, they were a waste of his time. He turned to look along the shelves for another book.
