Oh! I know which religion you are talking about! My step-dad's side of the family... all of them...

Maimai, I do not think religion should be played any part in marriages, to be precise, love.
Looking at the rate of divorce, I no longer think marriage is sacred or necessary anymore.

Yes, He is Xu. But he is not A practicing one. He knew Div was A Christian before he dated her & never expected her to change religons because Div would leave Him before she Changes her Religions. Also Div told him if he ever tried to marry another while he was with her she will Leave & Divorce him taking their son with her.

Don't get me wrong.
Islam is a wonderful religion. But there are just not updated with current trends.

I mean, heck, even Chinese don't allow multiple marriages.

Oh! Polygamy. There was a HBO show called "Big Love" that focused on it. Very religious, I'm told.

Div respects his religion but will never convert. But she is not allowed to try to convert him as well.

Good, Diva. I think over at America, Islam is not all that strong as where I am.
My place is dominated by that religion. So... yeah. I don't like them, as they seemed to think they are the 'god'.
I do know decent Muslim friends, though they fail to convince me about the few certain policies that is really unfair.
