How was everyone's New Year's celebrations?

Played canasta with my Mum, Dad, Aunt and Uncle all night :P
Because I party hard XD

Haha, I went to a little event in town for kids with my niece, my nephew, and my parents. We were done by 10:30. xD Barely stayed awake for the ball drop in NYC.

I went to the city centre to watch the fireworks display at midnight. Was not bad and had a good view.

I could have gone to fireworks but I really just wanted to relax with family :)

the antitwite: Haha, well, if you are on the other side of the world, I can't expect you to know. xD In New York City in Times Square is a giant ball that drops at midnight of the new year. Tons of people flock to NYC to watch it and there are all sorts of performers and stuff. It's craziness. xD

Sounds a little odd to the uninitiated but if it's in Times Square I can't begin to imagine the scale of the accompaning festivities :P Sounds like fun

I think here in my city they had two lots of fireworks, once at 9:30pm I suppose for the kids.

One day I would like to see the New Years celebrations in a major city, I live out in the country so the towns out here only have little fireworks displays

I was in Melbourne one new year, but that time we stayed indoors and just watched the fireworks on TV. ah well....

Haha yeah, Im going to be in Melbourne at Uni for a few years from now, so I might one day, you never know

I wouldn't recommend going to Times Square in NYC unless you have an awesome bladder because you basically can't really go to the bathroom and not lose whoever you are with. ^_^; I'd consider going to Philly though. They have a nice fireworks display at Penn's Landing from what I gather.

Well there isnt much danger of me getting to America lol

I just spend my New Years' on the computer. I don't make a huge deal of it.
