Kiona walks into the dark room, head held high as is her station. Her dark red eyes fierce in a soft face. She goes straight to one of the females, the one wrapping her hand in soiled cloth. She looked at her, eyes measureing. When she spoke, her voice was quiet and soft, a contrast to her eyes. "What's your name?" She shook her head and didn't wait for an answer. She looked at one of the men that were there and asked, "How much for all the women?"
Following Kiona was a young man, blue eyes narrowed. They look like they have a family resemblance but it was hard to imagine his fierce presence begin akin to Kiona's gentleness. He scowled at Kiona's question, knowing where this was leading. She always did this whenever they were out. He went to L's cage and looked the boy over. He said over his shoulder and a low voice, "And for the boy as well."

A brown haired grl was taken from her family forcably. She was held back and forced to watch as her family died by their hands. They said that the family hadnt payed them the money they owed. She would be the bounty for their boss as well as their lives. Her father had quit the job of slave gathering which was why he owed them money. He had stolen it when he had left and used it to pay all the taxes. The fire that was set to her house raged as they put her in a cage with shackles on. She had fought them the whole time they held her. The shackles were to insure that she wouldnt harm anyone. The cage was for transport. When they had brought her back to the base and taken her out of the cage just to be in a new one, she fought back again, seriously hurting two of them. One knocked her out and thats when she awoke to the sounds of chattering. It had been three days of unconsciousness.

Cora looked around in her cage two weeks later. She hadnt wanted to speak with the others as they did. All of her words were usually sarcasm or something else. Thats when two people walked into the dark place. Her eyes watched them carefully. The screams from below had ceased as one of the men walked up and looked at the two people who had walked in. It was a young man and a woman. The woman had asked for all the women and the man for the young boy. She had never seen a pair like this. Most of the slaves wouldve done anything to get chosen. These people were choosing all of the females and the boy. It was her time to go. She felt releived to finally be leaving this place. She watched the two people happily thinking that she was leaving this place that day.

Vincent sat against the side of the cage. He sighs this was annoying he wanted out and now. He hated beingcooped up waiting to be bought. The whole idea disguste him buying and selling people it was very wrong.

Avion entered the building with his guards smiling this was going to be fun he was looking forward to taking home a new 'pet'. He laughs a bit to himself and walks to the desk.

Kiona shivered with inward disgust when Avion came in with a smile. She turned her back to him and held her hand out for the papers of Cora, Lyna, and Katie. Her brother would not allow her to purchase any more, though she deeply wanted to. She looked at the three cages that held the girls. "Cora, Lyna, and Katie, follow me. If you try to run, no mercy will be handed to you." She walked out the door, two of her own gaurds hovering around the slave girls as they followed her.
Jerrian growled at Kiona's words. What a hypocrite, he thought. He looked at Laiden and Vincent as they were taken out of their cages. "The same fate will be the same if you choose to disobey. I am Master Jerrian and you are listen to me or my sister, " He indicates his sister, "Lady Kiona. I hope I have made myself very clear." He waited till they were in front of him and walking behind his sister, the three women she had purchased before following, and the two gaurds. More of they're own waited outside with the carriages. His father would not allow them to handle slaves without a proper escort, though Kiona refused many times.

Vincent gave the man a bit of a dark look. He would not obey anyone he was not a tool.

Jerrian looked at Vincent, his blues eyes ice. He said very softly, "I do not care that you look at me like that or what your dark thoughts behind it are, but if you ever look at my sister like that, I will beat you within an inch of your life." He switched his staff from one hand to the other, emphasizing his point. He then smiled brightly. "Now let's go. My sister is waiting."

L watched with wide eyes as the young couple came into the room, purchasing more than one . . . many. The instant his cage was opened, the pale youth was on his feet, blue eyes locked on the others. He wouldn't disobey - he wasn't the type to openly oppose those who ruled over him. Not usually. Out of habit, he moved as close as he could to the closest person, his hand gripping the fabric of their shirt.

Lyna crawled out of the cage following her new masters as a obiedent dog would. She had heard the man threats before and had been treated the same way as always. She stopped out side of the carriage that was cloest to her, she glanced over to L before her gaze dropped to the ground again. she was waitting for her orders as the faithful slave she was, she stayed away from the others as normal because of her body heat. She felt him grip her shirt, her hand touched the hand that was closet to her before she held her broken hand to her chest again.

Vincent refused to move keeping his hand behind him a crystal forming into a long slender dagger like form he would use it if needed. He finally moves forward.

Avion watched amused laughing at them. "Such poor pathetic creatures and I'm not just speaking of the saves...".

Cora grimaced but followed the pair once her cage was opened. She wouldnt disobey at this point. This was going to be her kind of freedom. It was just hard for her to imagine that she would still have to follow orders for the rest of her life, or as it seemed. There was an order for them to follow or be punished for not following. She just walked with them. The man seemed to be protective of his sister and didnt seem to care what happened to him from what she had seen with the look Vincent had given him. She didnt speak for fear that her words would be rude or out of place. Maybe sarcastic even. There had been another man there when they were unlocked. He seemed to have a powerful aura to him as well for which the lady had scoffed at. What had she gotten herself into?

L smiled slightly, his pale gaze flitting about before dropping. He didn't want to see these things - he would remember every detail. "You're warm," Laiden said quietly, frowning slightly as he realized he stood beside Lyna. He hummed quietly, glad to have the cold that he dreaded so much chased away.
Being out of his cage, the youth couldn't help but seek company. Physical contact was like a need that he couldn't deny; after being forced to stay away from others for so long, L needed someone there.

Kiona had come back to the doorway, wondering what was taking her brother so long, when Avion made his comment. She looked at her brother, red eyes glaring. He nodded at her and said, "Not too much. Father doesn't want to hear of any more mishaps when your out."
She grins and walks fully into the room, twirling to look at Avion, eyes a flame color, matching her now flame colored eyes. Her grin didnt leave, her face not showing any of the anger she feels. She had every air of a polite young Lady. "Sir, learning respect and manners for others is a good tool to learn in our society and standing. Please refrain from such remarks." Her hands were behind her back, clasped together out of his sight. Small flames where licking her delicate looking hands as she spoke.
Jerrian smiled, knowing she could care for herself and that she would heed his warning about not letting go. He turned back to Vincent. The blue crystal atop his staff was glowing with a soft inner blue light. The one hand that held the staff looked a little frosty. "Please continue forward. Magics colliding does bad things for business." He moved close enough that his next words were only audiable to Vincent. "Trust me, I'm not going to hurt you. Except for the afore mentioned...accident. Go."

"I am natrually hotter then everyone else." She whispered to him, she actually welcomed his clinging unlike most people would, company is something she hadn't had in years. She stepped closer to him, liking the cold feeling that was next to her. She reached her only good hand and gripped his hand that had a hold of her, pulling it into her own, she wouldn't admit it but she was always scared when she got a new master and now she had two of them. She flinched and shrunk some when she heard the other man that was going to be one of their's master speak, his voice was like killer ice that washed over her.

Vincent used the moment of closeness shifting the crystal spear into his shoulder sharply then shifting his body knocking his feet out from under him he was an expereanced fighter. I suggest you don't underestimate me, and I will not obey like a dog to some pampered stuck up jerk like you".

Cora wanted to shift from the mans comment. She could have taken a fox form or bear. Any kind of animal actually just to maul him. He was pompous in her eyes. Instead she felt the fire coming from the womans hands and the ice from the crystal the man had on his staff. She didnt feel intimidated by any of what she felt. The words from the two seemed as though things might get messy where they were. If she could she would shift into a cheetah just to get away from all of these people but she didnt feel like having the people hunt her down. She just kept walking with the guards at her back, Lyna and L in front of her holding hands and her two new masters making her feel as if they were going to fight people. Now all she wanted to think about was the freedom of shifting or where they were prolly being taken.

Jerrian laughed, icicles forming from his fingers. "I believe my sister would be better suited to argue with you but alas, she is preoccupied. Vincent, I believe it was, I was not underestimating you, only showing good will. Believe me, if i was a jerk, as you call me, you would be beaten already. Let us go before the guards here who will hurt you, do so. Once we are outside, we will discuss this like civilized men. Unless of course, you wish to be treated like a dog?" He raised an eyebrow

The guard escort of the brother and sister guided the slaves into two different carriages, one for the women, one for men. There were guards on both sides and guards riding, keeping track of all the slaves.

Vincent glared a bit but helped him up. He followed but a bit reluctantly.

Cora was listening in on the conversation and laughed to herself when the man said 'Unless of course you wish to be treated like a dog?' "I could show you dog." She said to herself as if joking. Making a crystal knife and trying to kill the one who was saving your life was a cruel act and she thought about if for a second. The woman who had bought them must be cruel compared to this man who had the guards put them all in different carriages. One for the men, one for the women from what she saw. She was watching the others as she was hustled into the carriage by the guards.

Jerrian smiles slightly. "Thank you." He headed to his carriage that he would be sharing with the other male slaves. He climbed in, a guard holding the door for both him and Vincent. He sat on one side, laying his staff across the rest of the seat, making the other two sit across from him. He leaned out the window, "Larl, make sure Lady Kiona doesnt go off again." The guard nodded and headed to the building, waiting just inside the door for his lady to finish.

The black haired girl sat quietly in a corner of her cage. Her hazel eyes watched as other slaves were bought and lead out by their new masters. She hated this place. If only she hadn't liked that man she met when she was 20 she wouldn't be here now. Shaking her head she pushed those horrible memories to the back of her mind.


Jake entered the room and watched over to make sure all transactions went smoothly. He held no mercy for slaves who tried to escape or disobey the rules. It would be a little while before the next sell of slaves in the other room.
