Alexander Maxim Luron
21
Family: Father and a sister
A Bit About Hime: Alexander is the eldest sibling of the Luron family who are wealthy land owners of the time. He went to college to become a lawyer, just as his father had. He is still rather laid back when it comes to about himself and enjoys the finer things in life but he is put in charge of his younger sister when his father must travel for business.

Nanette Flora Luron
16
Family: Father and brother
A Bit About Her: Nanette has just turned sixteen, the time a girl hosts parties durning the season to lure men. It is time for her coming out and so she travels to court with her brother when their father is off for a business trip.

----------------Alexander-------------------

Alexander, though the responsible brother he was, could not believe that he was supposed to take his sister around with him during the season. This was supposed to be his time away from work in order to have fun but he respected his father more than anything and so had of course agreed to be a suitable chaperone for Nanette. Alexander and Nanette were off to the first party of the day in fact. Alexander knew he would get many mothers pushing their daughters at him. That happened each year he came to court.

His long hair was tied back and he was smartly dressed in a deep gray colour with a top hat to match. He was not one for all of the fancy dressings that many of the other men wore. Despite this, it suited him. he was more matured with his style and preferred to stand out by standing down. Nanette was different though, far different.

----------------Nanette-------------------

Finally, it was her year to go to court. She was just as annoyed with her brother being her chaperone as he was but she was figured he was better than her father anyways or else she would only be dancing with old gentlemen and none of the younger men she saw that would swing her around the dance floor. She could feel the excitement coursing through her and a shiver of it ran down her spine. She was hoping to dance enough tonight that her feet would smart.

Unlike her brother's conservative dress, she was clad in a stunning gown. The neckline was appropriate though, the only thing she had to pay attention to. The corset forced her into a straight posture and minimized her waste. Her dress was of a beautiful, stunning blue. It was rich with satin underskirts of a rich red that would peek out. Her waves were only slightly pinned up in a hair style of her own. Soon, they would be arriving.

SPOILERX

Alistair Evans
Brown eyes, and black hair.
Age:19
Family: Mother (deceased), Father, step-mother
A bit about her: Alistair comes from a family of businessmen with the exception of his grandfather who was a Doctor who married an Indian servant girl. His father had a twin, but she died of pneumonia at an early age resulting in Alistair's father receiving all of his families wealth. Alistair's mother was a Spanish noble who was murdered by one of her employees though he claims it as an accident. She is the reason why the Evans's began marketing with women and children. The main products his company sold and produced, were teas, wines, sweets, foods, and guns, they owned factories, mines, and conducted trades with multiple countries. William Evans is a popular name, so most people know of his family, and his family business. Alistair owns and works out of his mother's shop 'Maria's Fancies' which he broadened to men, women, and children. His status is middle to upper class.

Nyx Prodan
Age:18
Family: Mother (deceased), Father, Step-father, and seven older half-brothers
A bit about her: A long time ago she was called Sarah Krause, an Austrian aristocrat. She has had many names sense. Her and father work at a funeral service called 'Holy Orchard' once owned by Mr. Prodan, her supposed grandfather. The majority of her time though is spent as a stable-hand, and carriage driver for William Evans, Alistair's father. Her status is low middle-class.

The two had entered together: Alistair, and Nyx, or Miss. Prodan as she proffered to be called, although Alistair would constantly call her Nyxie just to mess with her, and his father did the same. She loathed them both, but there was some liking or adjusting she had gained for them over the years.

Nyx stood by his side, two inches less than his five foot seven, and forty pounds lighter than his one hundred, and fifty. The two were only a few months apart. Alistair was born on Christmas, and Nyx, early spring. There were some that thought they were together, and others who thought they should be together, Alistair's father to name one, but to the two of them the thought was ridiculous each for their own reason.

Alistair greeted the other guests with Nyx by his side. "You'll never get asked to dance if you continue standing next to me you know?" He wore his hair tied back. He wore a white dress shirt under a black vest with a forest green over jacket with gold designs and a tail, black pants, and black shoes.

"Funny. I didn't realize I wanted to be asked," she said smiling. Nyx's hair was pinned up with flowers, and pearls. She wore a dress of white, and blue that was far to frilly, and puffy for her tastes. The white stockings she wore under seemed unnecessary to her because the dress covered them anyways, and the blue hills were simply uncomfortable. The corset underneath even more so. The fact that she had been forced to another formal gathering made it altogether miserable.

Alistair smiled at her, and looked across the room. From afar he spotted Alexander, and his sister Nannette. The Evans's family had known the Luran's for a short time, but Alistair had known them long enough to notice that Nannette had grown into a fine woman. He looped arms with Nyx, and lead her towards them. "Alexander. Nannette. A pleasure it is to see you, and thanks again for the invitation," he said. "By the way you are looking radiant tonight Miss. Luran." He gazed over at Nyx who was fiddling with fingers. "Oh. Before I forget this is my play sister Miss. Nyx Prodan. Her father owns the 'Holy Orchard'. "

Nyx curtsied with a half hearted smile. "It's a great honor to meet you," she said to which she received a gentle nudge because of the sarcasm evident in her tone. "Excuse me. I'm sure the three of you have so much to catch up on. I think I'll go get a drink."

Their carriage had been one of the middle ones to arrive. Nanette was already more excited and as she waited to be escorted out of the carriage, she began to fidget slightly. Alexander shot her a look that she knew meant to 'quit it' before they reached the doors. Nanette glared back but she wanted to show that she had grown at last, so she stopped her fidgeting and in turn resorted to looking out the winow once again.

Finally, their carriage came to a hault at the front of the steps and they were let out. There was a few people still standing outside, when Alexander left the carriage, the people began to whisper to each other. It was well known that his sister was coming out this season and people had only heard rumors of her startling outfits and appearances. Nanette finally appeared at the door of the carriage and climbed down, only pretending she did not feel the stares. Alexander offered her arm, and she took it so they could walk inside.

They entered, greeted the host, and came in. This was their aunt's house and she had no daughters so she agreed to host any of Nanette's gatherings. Nanette smiled and gracefully curtsied, the red peeking out from under the blue, "You certainly are my sister's daughter," She frowned, remembering her, "Now go along inside and greet some of the guests." Both her and Alexander nodded, heading iniside the ball room. It was not too long before they already had people approach them.

Alexander was glad to see that it was one of his new friends, Alistair and... a beautiful girl with him. He smiled as the two came over, and Nanette nearly felt her heart stop at the sight of his friend. Alexander chuckled.

"Hello again, it is nice to see that you did accept the invitation."

Nanette managed to keep her blush down, "Why thank you Alistair," She gave a curtsy to him with a smile, "It is nice to meet you Miss. Prodan."

"Agreed," Alexander smiled, his eyes casually sweeping over her, "And you look beautiful as well." But he was slightly disappointed when she went off to get punch. He decided he would catch up with her later after he, Alistair and Nanette were finished.

"My policy is to never refuse an invitation especially one from a very dear friend," he had said. Which was true, refusing invitations was bad for business, and plainly rude. "You're quite welcomed," he said smiling at Nannette. He had every intention of asking her to a dance before this was all over.

Alistair's composure never faltered even as Nyx left them. "She can be a bit shy I'm afraid, but she'll come around." He slipped a string of loose hair behind his ear. "There is a a dress at my shop that I think that you would look just lovely in, imported from Spain. I thought it be a nice coming of age gift." He looked towards Alexander. "You wouldn't mind bringing her by tomorrow would you? I have some things I want to discuss with you anyways, and I don't think it be appropriate having such a conversation here."

There is one very important thing to know about Alistair: everything with him was for the benefit of business, and to guarantee that people, mainly his customers, got the best of him so much so that he had lost his own identity almost completely. This is why one would never see him in a negative mood, and why he is the most trustworthy. His mother's murder in his mind for example would forever remain an accident, and he would rarely ever think of her aside from in admiration of the life she lived. He felt he owed it to her memory to keep her shop going. This didn't however mean that his friendships weren't genuine only that he could be incredibly to kind at times.

Nyx had been polite enough to at least smile at Alexander's compliment before leaving the group. To think years ago someone might of suspected her of being a boy, and now here people were calling her beautiful. She was convinced that she liked it the other way, at least it gave her less attention. When she wasn't wearing fluff she could at least scare people away by being deemed a witch. It was harder at these sort of gatherings though, being strange for her was considered more adorable than unsettling, at least by the men.

Nyx took a sip from her glass. She couldn't help, but to look over at Alexander. I wonder if he knew who I really was would he be so kind. She rolled her eyes at the thought. What difference did it make, not to mention that it was highly unlikely. Still it would be fun to mess with him anyways.
