Sewing

First off let me state if i posted this in the wrong forum, I am really sorry, but sewing is part of art >.>' just a different type of medium I suppose

Now let me get to the point, I am sewing for a project in one of my classes and i am making a cup sort of design that someone will put their arm in (they don't have fully developed limbs so their arm is only to the elbow). and I am not quite sure how to sew it so it looks nice but i have ideas on how to do it but I need some opinion on how to sew it. Please keep in mind that i am going to have to hand sew everything so if there is a way that will reduce the amount of seems will much be appreciate it.
